However, as soon as we had our Meet and Greet with Myra all of that changed. He was nervous at first, but then she took his leash and began talking to him, walking him, rubbing him and giving him toys; I knew that she was the one! He showed me that he trusted her and both of our nerves calmed down. Myra kept me updated with daily texts and photos and I was able to see how relaxed and calm my baby was. Tasha just spent 2 nights with Kirk & Anita and I received updates/pictures throughout her visit which was great since it was her first time staying overnight. I picked up a happy, great smelling (complimentary bath), exhausted pup (lots of play and walks) along with a surprise tote bag - complete with treats - to use when she goes back and forth from her visits there. About: I have been caring for my own pets for 8 years as well as people in my neighborhoods pets for about 5 years. I absolutely love animals and treat them as if they were my own. I am currently in school and work part time on campus in the evenings but I can still make time to look after your lovely pets! I have hours to spare between classes and would definitely do my utmost to ensure we both can reach to an agreement on time! There is not much fencing in my apartment complex, however there is a decent amount of space and grass to move around if your pet loves to walk! There is also a lake that we could stroll around for a some fresh air and a view.

About: I grew up on a farm and ranch, caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. While living in South Carolina, I assisted with service dog and obedience training. Dogs have always been a part of my life, and I’ve cared for them throughout my entire adult years. I can’t wait to offer your pup a safe, loving environment while you’re away! Usually home all day Sat and Sunday. Mon - Friday I’m gone from about 9am to 12pm. Home for the rest of the day to keep your pups company, aside from life errands that are few and far between. Drop offs/Pick ups no later than 830pm. As of right now I can have one client at a time, Thank you. I have a 6 foot privacy fence and the front room is set up for your pup to stay in and there is a XXL crate and for smaller pups I have a large play pen and a canopy bed. I do have three dogs that are friendly, however my house is constructed to where I can keep everyone separated and comfortable.

About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

About: I've had my own dogs and a cat my whole life. Additionally I got my first horse at 12 and have been around large and unique animals forever (even pet deer and alpacas!) From my baby Miniature Pinscher to my Great Dane I am capable of providing individualized care. I am currently a student athlete at DSU. I ride on the equestrian team so after my one in person class I am typically in and out of the barn with lots of time to spare as everything else I do for school is online. Pet care fits into my routine as a priority. I recently moved to Dover for school, and miss my dog terribly. Prioritizing your dogs in my schedule is not just a job for me, but a source of happiness! We have a large backyard for fetch and a safe neighborhood for walks and adventures! One block over we have a small park area as well. We have no other animals in the house, just four college girls who are all missing our companions from home. In the house your dog can roam freely about and sleep in my room/bed with me, whatever they are comfortable with.

About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and am super comfortable around them. I currently work for an animal sanctuary with older dogs and soon to have a couple horses and one goat there. I worked as an animal welfare officer previously therefore, I have a lot of knowledge on animals and their breeds. I also had chickens and Guinea pigs. I used to have bearded dragons too! Many many years of experience handling animals :) I currently work full time for a First State Animal Center and SPCA at their brand new sanctuary for rehabilitating dogs, senior dogs to enjoy the end of their life, and will have horses and a goat there soon. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays all day. The rest of the week, I work 8am-6pm therefore, I can do evenings if needed after 6pm. I am more than willing to go to anyone’s house to pet/house sit or even just go to let them out or play/ feed them. I am willing to stay overnight for owner weekend trips if needed. Just need to let me know so I can arrange childcare for my son and also I have my full time job on Fridays and Sunday 8-6 but can be there after work if staying overnight! About: Hi, my name is Angelina! I’m 21 years old and I grew up in San Diego, California but currently live in Columbia, South Carolina. I love all animals and am offering dog walking and dog-sitting services! I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I have also dog-sat for neighbors since I was 13 years old and volunteered at my local animal shelter. Thus, I’m used to and know how to handle and care for 5 pound Chihuahuas and 100 pound mastiffs. In the near future, I hope to open up my own shelter to ensure more dogs and cats find the living homes they truly deserve! I can walk your dog in your or my neighborhood, at any dog-friendly park, or anywhere else you’d like! As I stay in an apartment, I cannot house animals overnight but can watch them during the day for some hours! I can care for your pets at your home overnight, or for however long you need be!
About: Hi everyone! I spent 10 wonderful years dog sitting in Myrtle Beach, SC for friends, family, and through Rover. I live in Delaware now with my boyfriend and our fur child, Willow :). I work from home during summer and winter months, and I am available for dog walking or hosting your dog in our home (as long as they get along with other dogs). “I was really nervous about leaving my husky for a week. After meeting with Justin I was more at ease..till drop off day..then it all hit..Justin kept reassuring me that stratus would be fine and I felt better..but when I got the 1st update and I saw him playing with other pups and that goofy husky tongue hanging I knew he was ok. Justin and Stephanie were great with pupdates and communicated throughout the stay. If I messaged they were quick to respond. My boy came home happy healthy and I would recommend Justin to anyone. They provided pictures and messages. I was at ease knowing he was well taken care of. Will be using again as we do have a couple more trips planned”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”

About: My farm is a beautiful sanctuary that we love to share with all furry friends! Whether they want to splash in the pool, run outside in a safe CLEAN secure area, or just have a nice snuggle in their indoor kennel or maybe even stretch out on the couch- just know they’ll be wagging to come back! I have 6 horses on the property, 13 chickens, 2 turkeys, 2 outdoor barn cats, and my Friendly Laid back dog Archie. I provide love & care which is more important than anything else. But of course- I follow parents rules! My entire life revolves around my farm and caring for all of my animals. I am on the property 24/7 as this is my full time job. And luckily it’s my passion. We have a beautiful fenced in pasture with lots of space to run. We are in a very private and rural area. We also have a pool- only if parents are OK and the Pup chooses to take a dip! Your Pup will always be supervised. If there are restrictions we will always abide by them. We also have dog crates if needed or requested and a beautiful inside area as well. Basically your Pup is gonna have free range and feel a home away from home.
“All I can say is A++, Brody was very well taken care of, Diana and her hubby were so welcoming when we dropped Brody off, she does slow introductions with her own dogs and Brody had friends to play with. Diana's home is extremely clean and well maintained and had no issues leaving Brody in her care. She sent us pictures and even a short video or two, made our trip to DC stress free knowing he was in good hands, Brody came home happy and as playful as ever so I know he was treated kindly and with love. As a pet owner you can tell your pets body language and he was as happy as when we dropped him off for his puppy staycation! Diana is very friendly and communicates quickly. We were running late to drop him off and she was very accommodating, can recommend her enough, her price per night can't be beat for the awesome care your furry baby will enjoy! It is well worth the ride to her home even if it's a little out of the way, take the drive and book with her! We will always see if she's available in the future, A+ all the way!!!”
