“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”
About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! I can also help with potty training, pad training and lead training as well as socializing with our two very friendly goofy dogs.

About: I started taking care of cats when I was about 10, but I recently started taking care of dogs when I was around 16 off and on with neighbors and family friends! About: I absolutely LOVE dogs! I’m the type of girl to ask you what your dogs name is and if I can pet them! 🥰 Since I was born, I’ve been surrounded by dogs. We always had several family dogs, all of my friends had dogs, my neighbors had dogs, etc. I grew up taking care of everyone’s dogs - neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I will be using Rover as a side job. I will work on certain days each week and it will be scheduled around my full time job. I understand that to a lot of people, animals are their best friend, their baby, their child… because of this, I will work 100% with you to accommodate your needs to make you comfortable!

About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! I can also help with potty training, pad training and lead training as well as socializing with our two very friendly goofy dogs.

She is a little bit off the beaten path which is exactly why I chose her as we were on our way to Rehoboth. It was an easy and short detour to drop our little buddy off on our way. Her place has plenty of shade, fencing, and other pups for my dog to enjoy. I will definitely be rebooking with Megan W in the future!”

“Kelly was great. This was Murphy’s first time staying with Kelly and he settled in very quickly. She sent lots of updates and photos which helped to know he was doing well in a new place. Kelly was very flexible and accommodating when we had to shift pick up and drop off times a bit. She offered to pick Murphy up and drop him off since we were so close. I definitely plan to use Kelly’s services again.”
