That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Between having shy dogs of my own and volunteering at the animal shelter, I give dogs space and allow them time to sniff and warm up to me before we go out. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old, usually 2 at a time, and am now a proud Dog Mom to Lola, who I bring with me when I am caring overnight for dogs. I am very good with training, and will happily follow your methods and keywords to reinforce good behavior with your dogs. I am also open to caring for cats, fish, hamsters, etc., as I have had various animals as pets over the years. For walks and house visits, my service radius is basically Long Neck, Oak Orchard, Harbeson, Angola by the Bay. For housesitting, I will travel up to 10 miles from Long Neck, and housesitting requests if my dog is permitted in your home as well, of course only when I am physically present. (She rides around in the car with me when weather permits, or stays with my roommate or parents in other cases.) I will only accept overnight assignments when I can bring my dog with me, so only work for 1 or 2 dog households. I currently work as a part-time consultant from home, and part-time as a waitress some evenings. I generally can provide potty breaks every 4 hours, as I have flexibility with my hours, but will be out of the house 3-4 times a week for up to 8 hours during the tourist season. I will care for your pets in your home, or on walks, according to your instructions. When caring for pets in your home, I am also willing to provide additional services such a light housekeeping, cooking or laundry, as time allows, sometimes for an addition fee. I was vaccinated against COVID-19, and have taken one booster. I will housesit when I will be staying overnight and can bring my dog with me as well, as she will stay with me on days I am not working.

About: I worked at a dog kennel for 2 years, where i was in charge of feeding, potty breaks, medicine (if applicable), cleaning kennels, bonding time, bathes (wet/dry), and brushing. I have been around animals my whole life and have always had a pet, even if it was something small like a fish. I’m currently unemployed at the moment, so i’ll have abundant time to watch your beloved pets! I’m available anytime, any day with the exception of Wednesday, so feel free to reach out! I have a fenced in yard where i let my four dogs out freely to do their business and get their energy out, while I get their food bowls ready and check their water. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care, whether that means daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, medication administration, or simply giving pets companionship and attention while their owners are away. Because I understand the importance of consistency for animals, I make it a priority to follow each pet’s established routine as closely as possible. Whether your pet thrives on playtime and activity or prefers a quieter pace, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I also believe communication is important, so I make time to send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in familiar surroundings, so I take the time to learn their schedule, preferences, and any special instructions before care begins. During visits, I ensure pets have fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed and keeping a close eye on their overall well-being. Because I’ve cared for animals my entire life, I understand the importance of noticing changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I treat every client’s home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean, secure, and following all household instructions. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.
About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, fish, and mice! I love all animals and I believe they all deserve the best possible care we can provide! I’m currently a stay at home mom with two adult children and one child in kindergarten! I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your fur (or feather or scale or what have you!) babies! I have a small dog and a cat that are friendly and would get along well with other animals. I enjoy walking pets and cuddling as well!

Our dog Rusty is a Coast Guard dog so is used to having friends stay over while Mark's Coast Guard members are away visiting family. We love animals. We are dependable, fit, and loyal and work as a team to care for your sweet one. My husband and I both work part - time from home and work as team for Rover. We have one dog! We LOVE animals and are available to walk, board, or come to your house and care for animals. If a pet stays, we will put our pup, Rusty in his cage at night for safety. We do have 2 small children who love animals! We have a very large back yard that is not fenced but is private. Our neighborhood has very little traffic so we will walk your dog often! We will follow your routine. We will give your pet several long walks and take him or her out as much as you need. We have a big back yard if it's raining or inclement weather and your pet doesn't want to go out. We give lots of love and many walks to pets. We have a comfortable home and your pet can feel safe with us. We lookg forward to being in your home as well and making your pet feel secure.

“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

About: I have experience with breeds extra small to extra large as we owned a jack Russell, chocolate lab, golden retriever, and mastiff/cane Corso mix at the same time. Currently, we have a 6 year old American bulldog named rosie who loves lounging and eating my daughter's toys. I'm a recently retired teacher with a ton of free time on my hands and a desire to have a more active lifestyle. I live in west Conshohocken and have no commitments outside of elementary school drop off/pick up. I would prefer to care for your pet in your home as I have a kindergarten aged child but will consider housing a pet for a short stay. We have a fencrd in grassy yard and 2 enclosed deck/concrete areas. I will provide background clearances from the state police, FBI, and Childline.

About: I absolutely love animals- both my own and other families pets! I moved to Lewes a few years ago from New Jersey and love being active outside and by the beach. My family and I adopted a dog a few years ago and she has brought so much joy to our family. I am very flexible with my daily schedule and around on most weekends and holidays. I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings as well as overnights. I am good with medications and open to any specific needs your pet might have. My cat and dog both have kidney disease, so I have great experience with both oral and injectable medications.
“Dropped my two pups off from Friday to Sunday afternoon. She sent pictures fed them walked them. They roamed and let me tell you they were happy worn out pups by the time we got home.. You could tell they had a time. She made sure everything was safe and clean for our pups as well as the other pups there. Will definitely recommend and definitely will be using her services again!”
