We were really apprehensive about leaving her alone for 11 days and this was a last minute request as we had planned to board her but later realized we just couldn’t put her through that. Melanie was patient with her and won her affection even though Lily is a bit stand off ish. We loved the notices twice a day when she was starting and finishing her visits and the cute pictures helped to ease our mind . It was also very helpful that there was someone in our home and could alert us to any problems, which we’re happy to say there weren’t any. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation to Yellowstone knowing that Lily was in good hands. You can tell Melanie loves animals and we trusted her explicitly. I will definitely ask for Melanie next time we go away and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a care giver.”

While your pet is in my care I always watch their body language, eating habits, and anything out of the ordinary I will let you know. I lived in Charleston for 5 years and took care of many dogs/repeat customers while I was in grad school for physical therapy. I watched dogs at my apartment as well as stayed at many homes for the dog’s comfort. I love going for walks with them, playing and snuggling. I work full time 8-4:30 Monday-Friday in Lewes, DE. I can stay at your home during the work week, feeding/letting your pet out before and directly after work. “My dog was a little on edge due to the new environments at Jenna's home when I first dropped him off. But not too longer after I left, I received a photo of him lying on her lap as content as could be.”

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
