About: I’ve had rescue dogs since I was a child. I get a lot of joy out of fostering dogs and helping them find their furever home. I also grew up with cats and love a sassy attitude. Looking to soak up some good pet energy this summer! I’m not working this summer, so I’m home all day and ready to entertain your pet. I love taking walks so your dog will get at least two walks per day. I spend a lot of time in the pool, so your pet can enjoy the yard as much as they want. About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have a cat named Pumpkin and a guinea pig named Cozy, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. About: I've had pets since I was 6, ranging from an older Jack Russel Terrier, shy/abused German Shepherd/Rottweiler, and now a hyper Pitbull! I accept the personalities of all animals I currently work a full-time job. I have flexible lunch breaks and can contribute to care within the 11-1 PM schedule. I am available after 3:30 PM until 8 PM every weekday if given 2-3 days notice. On weekends, if I am not traveling, I can be flexible. I am an early riser!!! I currently have 2 cats that I adopted who are amazing: Felix, the sweetest gentle giant. And Ophelia, the newest addition to the family. She is an energetic cuddle bug and the biggest sweetheart! I recently lost my oldest cat Charlie, who I’ve had since I was 9. She was 20 years old, and I had her from 8 weeks old until the end. She was a super geriatric senior who needed assistance and care for about 3-4 years prior to her passing. I feel confident in administrating any medications needed, as well as frequent checks to make sure the pet is as healthy as can be! I am available for dog walking needs and stop in visits! For both services, I only request a quick meeting with the pet before we are left alone for everyone’s safety. My schedule is extremely flexible, so don’t hesitate to reach out! Im available all week, whenever you need! I have plenty of time to burn some energy and make sure your pet receives the love it deserves! Im currently working on online courses to complete my history degree, which can be done at any time! I cannot currently offer services in my own home as I have 2 cats who are very attached to their humans, and I don’t feel comfortable introducing new pets. “This is about the 4th time that Kate has taken care of my precious mini Schnauzer. This was a 10 day visit. My Schnauzer is so warm and loving but she can be shy. She is very cooperative and loves Kate. She had not seen Kate for over 5 months and when we drove up, she gave a howl of recognition and delight. Needless to say, my dog pulled me into the house. We had a vacation and so did my dog. Kate is genuinely kind and caring. She sends me photos daily and does not hesitate to ask a question. However, Kate knows my dog so well (and dogs in general) and always has her best interest at heart. I know that my dog had a wonderful time with Kate. If you need a dog sitter in the Media area or for that matter, I suggest driving to have Kate take care of your precious dog. I knew Kate before I knew she was on Rover. When, she told me, I jumped at the chance for my dog to stay with her. I cannot stress enough how professional, caring, communicative and loving Kate is with my dog. I had a great vacation and so did my Schnauzer! You do not need to search, Kate is the best!!”
