Welcomed by their 3 sweet dogs, Margit and Bill took the time to explain their day to day schedule, all while our dogs jumped up on their laps and snuggled! I made multiple errors when booking our dates & times- they were very gracious, patient & flexible! Their son Noah, also a Rover sitter, stepped in at the end of the week and was as loving & communicative as his parents. Having daily communication and photos throughout the week was such a great way to stay in the loop and up to date on our pups. About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.

If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. While I don’t currently offer overnights or boarding, I’m able to stop by multiple times a day as needed. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things familiar and stress-free. I stick to your normal feeding, walking, and play routines, give plenty of attention, and make sure water and litter boxes are fresh. I’m patient with shy pets and happy to give extra cuddles to the social ones. I treat your home and your pets with the same care I give my own.
About: I’ve always had a dog in my life, and it was my responsibility since I was young to care for our family pets! I am 32, and at the age of 13 I started housesitting dogs/cats for neighbors and friends. Consistently in the last 10 years, I have taken care of pets for family and friends while they are out of town. I have a 15 year old dog who is blind, so I understand the desire to have someone give specific care and love to an animal with special needs. Every animal I take care of, I care for like it's my own! I have cared for multiple large dogs at once, dogs with high energy demands, as well as dogs as young as puppies or as old as seniors. I have also been a nanny for the last 5 years, so respecting someone’s home and space is essential to me. I have recently moved to Delaware to be closer to family. With this new move, I also hope to focus on my art career and get more involved in the community. With that being said, my schedule is very flexible! I am a morning-person who loves to exercise early, so morning dog walks/pet care wouldn't be a problem! I also do not mind being up later at night, if that is what your pet needs. I care for other’s homes and pets how I would want someone to care for my own. I am extremely respectful, and will make sure your pet and home are my first priority! I am very good at following specific instructions for pet-care in one’s own home. I have experience caring for both old and young pets, as well as pets with additional needs, such as routine medications and vitamins. When housesitting, I am also able to give animals as many walks/play time as desired. Although I have a dog of my own, I will not be bringing my dog along for walks/housesitting (my husband is able to watch him at home). I also am in constant communication with the owner, when caring for their pet.
About: Animal lover looking to help out in the colder months of the year. In need of a flexible schedule due to elderly grandparents. Caring for animals can get harder as the cold months approach, eager to help where my schedule allows. Pet care is a daily routine with my cat (Domino). About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds for my whole life living on our 50 acre family farm. We have horses, pigs, cows, dogs, cats, reptiles and fish! I take care of all of them and provide them with a loving and enriched environment. I can’t wait to meet your best friends, or have them for a visit! About: I had a dog who was disabled for the last 10 years, he fell down our steps and broke his back twice. I took care of him everyday. I work only 5 hour shifts at the Captains Table in Ocean City, Md. Day shifts and night shifts. I can take care of your pets throughout and or in between those times. When I had my dog I walked my dog 30 minutes a day, fed & played with my dog cooper all day long if allowed. I’m getting another dog soon in the next month or so.
About: I’ve had a dog or cat all of my life and the amount of joy they given is indescribable. I’ve watched my dogs numerous times on my own and well as my brothers dog who’s had diet complications for a while. I’m a current college student at the University of South Carolina so my schedule is fairly flexible and I’m able to work around my classes. I plan on having most of my weekends available to work. I generally let my dogs outside without a leash but I would never go outside with someone else’s dog without a leash on them. I’m comfortable putting a dog in a crate as my current roommate has a dog and I sometimes have to put her in a crate. I know some dogs have more energy than others and I am more than willing for o play with them until the get tired.

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.

About: Hi, my name is Katie! 😊 I worked in a high stress telecommunications job for many years but my true passion is to walk, train, play with, and take excellent care of dogs. I absolutely love dogs and animals! If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. I love high energy dogs, have strong arms to handle pulling dogs, and enjoy leash training and teaching basic commands. I have also taken care of farms and multiple kinds of farm animals. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. I used to live on a farm with goats, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs. My favorite breed is a cocker spaniel. I currently work from home all day long so I am available for around the clock attention. Pets are like family members. We all engage with each other all the time. I take breaks often and play in the backyard with the pets. My kids also loves to experience new animals in the house. We also have a great neighborhood to walk the animals.
