I do have cats and a dog of my own, but your cats will be kept completely separate from them. Your cats will have their own private bedroom upstairs, where my dog is not allowed, giving them a quiet and comfortable space that is all theirs. About: I’ve taken care of my baby- Foxey for all 12 of her years. I also regularly take care of a large dog, a cat and a puppy weekly. I have experience with both big and small dogs, although mostly ones on the smaller side and am no stranger to administering medication. I also once housed a leopard gecko, so I’m open to other animals as well! I work in the early mornings, no longer than 5 hours typically. I have classes some days of the week but I’m generally pretty flexible. I’ve been successful in balancing taking care of pets and my own schedule. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

I walk everyday about 5 miles so walking your pet is a added plus. I so enjoy the companionship. I babysit my Friends dogs frequently and dog walk another friends daily while she is at work. About: I've taken care of a wide variety of animals my whole life. While I love all types of pets, dogs are my favorite. I have lots of experience. One of my dogs was a therapy dog within the public school system as part of a literacy program for elementary children. I have a nice fenced in backyard and live close to two pet friendly parks. About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

We don’t have to feel guilty about leaving her behind because she is always excited to visit and has a great time either Amy’s family and the other pets to have fun with. Amy sends great photos and videos along the way that give us insights into her daily activities and friendships. She always comes home from her “vacations” exhausted in a good way, which is the best outcome of vacations for her humans too. Highly recommend!”
About: I've taken care of a wide variety of animals my whole life. While I love all types of pets, dogs are my favorite. I have lots of experience. One of my dogs was a therapy dog within the public school system as part of a literacy program for elementary children. I have a nice fenced in backyard and live close to two pet friendly parks. My schedule is very flexible. There is always someone at home 24/7 so your furry friend will never be lonely. I can board, sit, or walk almost anytime.
