“Mickey was a very gracious and thoughtful host for our year and a half old wire hair fox terrier. Mickey dealt with a small injury to Gracie‘s paw that occurred just before we dropped her off, keeping her front paw bandaged many times as Gracie decided she did not want to wear it. She also took Gracie for 2 1/2 mile walks, which is exactly what that breed needs. We absolutely recommend Mickey.”
“Sylvia was a perfect fit for our dog. Daisy tends to be a little shy but was best friends with Sylvia within an hour.. if that. Sylvia was great at sending me pictures throughout the day of my furbaby. Daisy looked very comfortable and relaxed. When I went to pick her up, Daisy had already claimed Sylvia as her person and did not recognize me for about 15 seconds..which felt like a lifetime. In the past, I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker and have helped family members & friends with their dogs while they were on vacation. I adopted a Senior Boston Terrier 4 ago so I took a break from Rover.com. She is older now so it is a good time to get back on rover part time until my schedule changes. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.

About: Taking care of animals brings me so much joy! I live at the beach and love walking dogs through my neighborhood to the beach. I am comfortable controlling big, strong dogs on walks. My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

About: I have my own dog of nearly six years, and I have a lot of experience taking care of friends and family members dogs as well! Pet care is a part of my daily life back home in Maryland, and I am so exicted to make it apart of my life here in college as well!! I have a fenced in yard at my home, and my own dog was raised in a pen/crate, so I am able to put your dog in a crate if needed! I am also familiar with both collars and harnesses so your dog can be walked no matter what!

About: Owner of two Huskies. My sister has two dogs she trains for agility contests. My friend competes in dog show contests. I love dogs and they love me. I am available 7 days a week. At all hours of the day. Including Holidays and weekends. responsible and always reliable to show up and care for your dog. Not only was she a delight to communicate with, my dog clearly loved her and her home, The pictures she sent of my furbaby showed him undeniably smiling ear to ear. She is a little bit off the beaten path which is exactly why I chose her as we were on our way to Rehoboth. It was an easy and short detour to drop our little buddy off on our way. Her place has plenty of shade, fencing, and other pups for my dog to enjoy. I will definitely be rebooking with Megan W in the future!”

About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. My dog recently passed but we used to take lots of daily walks and had lots of interactions.
