“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

I adopted a Senior Boston Terrier 4 ago so I took a break from Rover.com. She is older now so it is a good time to get back on rover part time until my schedule changes. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

About: I have had cats as pets of my own my whole life. I tend to think I can be a bit of a cat whisperer. I love to follow their lead and allow them the play or space that is needed. I feel comfortable cleaning a littler box and can handle multiple cats at a time. I am also comfortable administering some medication and handling senior cats.

About: Taking care of animals brings me so much joy! I live at the beach and love walking dogs through my neighborhood to the beach. I am comfortable controlling big, strong dogs on walks. I grew up with 2 dogs and have always loved animals. My sister is a veterinarian and has taught me a lot. She is on call if your animal has any health issues. I’m in a career transition right now, so your business so greatly appreciated ❤️ I am a yoga instructor working part time, so I have a lot of time for your pets! My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

About: I have had dogs since I was a kid. I enjoy there company and since retired now I could not ask for a better thing to do every day. The unconditional love for pets is the best medicine in life. About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. The big, fenced-in yard is a doggy paradise, and he has a blast running around and playing with Charlie, Kelly's dog. It's such a relief to know that Bailey is having a great time while I’m away! Kelly’s communication skills are fantastic. She keeps me updated throughout Bailey’s stay, sharing pictures and messages that always brighten my day. It's so good to have her socialize with so many different types of animals! She doesn't even get opportunities to socialize with just dogs. BEST medicine ever. Marvina is an amazing individual. I don't know how she does it with the entire group of pets she has - but she always looks like it is just another day in paradise! What a wonderful woman. She loves our dog and treats her like one of the family. I can't imagine taking Lacey anywhere else!”
