When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

Leanne was very prompt with responding back to me and was able to do drop-in visits kind of last minute for several days. About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.

About: Taking care of animals brings me so much joy! I live at the beach and love walking dogs through my neighborhood to the beach. I am comfortable controlling big, strong dogs on walks. I grew up with 2 dogs and have always loved animals. My sister is a veterinarian and has taught me a lot. She is on call if your animal has any health issues. I’m in a career transition right now, so your business so greatly appreciated ❤️ I am a yoga instructor working part time, so I have a lot of time for your pets! My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)
About: I absolutely love animals- both my own and other families pets! I moved to Lewes a few years ago from New Jersey and love being active outside and by the beach. My family and I adopted a dog a few years ago and she has brought so much joy to our family. I am very flexible with my daily schedule and around on most weekends and holidays. I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings as well as overnights. I am good with medications and open to any specific needs your pet might have. My cat and dog both have kidney disease, so I have great experience with both oral and injectable medications.

Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.

About: I have been taking care of my families pets since I was 13. Spending time with animals is one of the best ways to spend a day, especially when meeting new furry friends! I am currently working a serving position over the summer during my summer break from college, so my schedule can fluctuate, but mainly revolves around evening shifts. I am very good at communicating when I am available or not, and am totally okay with dedicating my days off to spend time with your pets! Preferably, I would like to care for animals in your own home, as I have two cats at home who are okay with other cats, but not so much bigger/more active dogs. I have two high energy dogs that need to go on runs daily. I am fit and we are on a dirt road and a large property so getting exercise is easy! My dogs have their own bedroom and actual bed, but are also crate trained for during the day. They are very friendly, love other animals and our cats!
