“Sylvia was a perfect fit for our dog. Daisy tends to be a little shy but was best friends with Sylvia within an hour.. if that. He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

To ensure I can provide the best experience for both your pets and myself, I only accept bookings in homes without strong odors. This may include cigarette smoke, urine, and plug in wall scents. I currently walk and feed my dog twice a day, so adding your pup to the routine would be a breeze! Although I don't have a fenced in yard, there is a safe neighborhood nearby where we walk our dog daily. I have one dog currently who has loved every other dog he's ever met and would be happy to share his toys! We do allow pets on the couches & beds, but would be able to crate at night if that is preferred.

In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, litter box care, medications if needed, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection and companionship. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially when their owners are away. I’m very attentive to body language, behavior changes, and overall comfort, and I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and low-stress environment. I also understand that some pets need extra patience, space, or structure, and I’m experienced with anxious pets, shy cats, senior animals, and pets with unique routines or separation needs. Communication is also very important to me, so I make sure owners receive regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while their pets are in my care.
