“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. About: I’m a devout animal lover with two dogs of my own and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My senior dog recently passed from a rare lung cancer so I’m experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of. I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, when available. Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. About: I have had my Siberian Husky American Foxhound since 2019! She is my entire world and is like my child. I love getting to take care of her when I am not teaching little ones at school! I love dogs and everyone in my life has dogs. This includes another American Foxhound mix, a Pitbull mix, and a Labordoodle which I spend extended time with each. I would love to get a chance to walk your fur baby and take great care of them! I am currently done the school year and have my days open for summer break! I am hoping to fill that time with walking some adorable dogs! I live in an apartment so I take my dog on at least 2 walks a day. We often take her in the car to different places such as the beach. I am understanding that everyone has a different routine for their dog and that it is important for the dog and family to stay on that routine! About: I’ve had dogs in my household since I was 5, meaning I’m skilled in taking care of dogs and am ready for anything they might need. I’ve dogs at for multiple neighbors of the years, and many of those dogs have been old dogs with specific instructions to keep them healthy. I’ve done multiple weeks of overnight care for dogs as well as simple daycare or dog walks for people that need help. I’m currently studying to become a vet and I would love to have the chance to get to know your furry companion! I am open to help out any day of the week as needed. I have a part-time job with schedule hours that change each week, but none of those hours include nighttime’s. I am willing to take your pet even last minute if I am capable. In my home, I make sure to let the dog out first thing in the morning and right before bed to allow them to use the bathroom as needed. In my household I take my dog for a walk around 9 every morning and 5 every night, then feeding him at 6pm. Other food given to him includes a treat in the morning and a couple in the afternoon that I put in his bowl. In between those times, I will spend time with my dog either sitting on the couch together watching tv or playing games.

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
About: My home is always filled with love and laughter over our dogs. Rex is 16, a ShihZhu, Jack is 10 yr Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Peppa is 8 yr Chihuahua. Good nutrition, comfort, care, love and exercise are the keys to our content and playful pets. I am currently retired, and I have time on my hands. Dogs are very important to me, I feel they know more than we think they know. To give a dog comfort, company in your time of need would be my pleasure. I will take your instruction on how you’d like me to structure walks, exercise, feeding and meds. The playing and affection part is included. I will help you keep you pet on their routine.

She sent lots of adorable photo updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. Marissa is incredibly caring, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She paid close attention to all of the care instructions and special details I shared about Rho, and it was clear she genuinely wanted Rho to feel comfortable and at home. She even gave Rho a bath after she had an accident in her crate, which I really appreciated, and surprised us with homemade treats and cute gifts! “I was really nervous about leaving my husky for a week. After meeting with Justin I was more at ease..till drop off day..then it all hit..Justin kept reassuring me that stratus would be fine and I felt better..but when I got the 1st update and I saw him playing with other pups and that goofy husky tongue hanging I knew he was ok. Justin and Stephanie were great with pupdates and communicated throughout the stay. If I messaged they were quick to respond. My boy came home happy healthy and I would recommend Justin to anyone. They provided pictures and messages. I was at ease knowing he was well taken care of. Will be using again as we do have a couple more trips planned”
