I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 30 years with multiple types of birds and other animals such as dogs, cats, and handling small critters at Petsmart. About: I’ve had dogs in my household since I was 5, meaning I’m skilled in taking care of dogs and am ready for anything they might need. I’ve dogs at for multiple neighbors of the years, and many of those dogs have been old dogs with specific instructions to keep them healthy. I’ve done multiple weeks of overnight care for dogs as well as simple daycare or dog walks for people that need help. I’m currently studying to become a vet and I would love to have the chance to get to know your furry companion! I am open to help out any day of the week as needed. I have a part-time job with schedule hours that change each week, but none of those hours include nighttime’s. I am willing to take your pet even last minute if I am capable. In my home, I make sure to let the dog out first thing in the morning and right before bed to allow them to use the bathroom as needed. In my household I take my dog for a walk around 9 every morning and 5 every night, then feeding him at 6pm. Other food given to him includes a treat in the morning and a couple in the afternoon that I put in his bowl. In between those times, I will spend time with my dog either sitting on the couch together watching tv or playing games.

Weekends are my ideal availability, but I can accommodate through the week if necessary, even if it’s just to check in on a cat to make sure they have food and water. I have a fenced backyard for my older dog. We do go on walks daily when cognitively he is able too. I can crate the dog if necessary. I give baths monthly and always make sure to have treats for him.

We are happy to follow your pup’s usual routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. Whether they love long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing nearby, we will make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. We also share our home with Billy, our mini dachshund puppy, who has made us appreciate even more how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. We will send plenty of photos and updates, so you can relax knowing your pup is being cared for like part of our family. We would love to meet you and your furry best friend! Marvens is a surgical resident at Christiana Care and Julia works in finance and remote often so would love some pup company while she’s home! We live together in a one bedroom dog-friendly apartment building next to multiple dog runways and parks so your dog can always enjoy some outside time and grass
About: I have had pets (dogs) all my life. I take care of pets owned by my family and friends. I am extremely trustworthy and understand what it means to be a pet owner and want the best for your furbaby. I will treat them like my own and I have treats! I am flexibile and will work with your schedule. Just ask!!! On weekends I am totally free! I will make time to take care of your fur babies! I had a 12 year old fur baby and he recently passed. I miss him dearly. I have had animals all my life. I am able to walk dogs and play with them.

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”

“I am one who always worries when I first leave my pet with someone new. Marissa sent photos 5 min after we left (I was crying lol) and the pictures immediately made me feel better. She sent several photos during stay and we could tell our Teddy was very comfortable there. We know he was well cared for.
