Gave us a tour of her home and some time for Charlotte to meet her and their family dog Tucker ( a super sweetie). Jill was super flexible about pickup/dropoff, and responds quickly. We very much appreciated all of the pictures she sent to us of Charlotte during her stay (it looks like she rotated between everyone's laps - her favorite thing!). When I picked Charlotte up, she was calm and happy. She got along fine with Tucker which makes us happy for him too, and Jill's daughter's were super sweet with her. It's a comfort to know that Charlotte is being loved when she stays will Jill just as she is when home with us, and now we can go away with peace of mind. “Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

I love their quirkiness and companionship. I would care for your cats as I care for my own, with kindness, respect, and common sense. I will read and follow instructions. I will not leave doors open. I will make sure they eat what they’re supposed to be eating and observe for any signs of distress. I will spend quality time with your kitties so they feel loved while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule with remote work days. Weekends are flexible. In most cases, I would be able to make morning and evening cat care visits. About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have taken care of them throughout their life, from puppy to senior. I have dog sat for many family friends and family throughout my life. I went to an ag high school and was enrolled in the vet tech program. I have handled many different animals, as well as many different ages and needs. All dogs are fed separately to avoid any food aggression. We have an over sized, fully gated and covered back deck that the dogs can also hangout on with us safely.

About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. About: I have several years of paid and volunteer experience with all animals, including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, rabbits, horses, and goats. Growing up, I had two dogs, one small and one medium. I also used to volunteer at a therapeutic horse-riding center for people with disabilities, where I groomed horses and cleaned their barns. About: I’ve spent several summers caring for both cats and dogs as well as having them in my house growing up! I absolutely love giving them the attention they deserve, whether that’s playtime, walks, or cuddle time. As a 20 year old college student, I bring lots of energy, patience, and genuine love for animals. I enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for like they’re part of my own family I currently am a college student with mostly early morning classes, so I am up pretty early. I also am a soccer coach for Wilmington hammer heads which is about 2 hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday nights. Other than that I am extremely flexible and am never busy for long periods of time! Whether I’m in my home or a client’s, safety and comfort always come first. I make sure pets have a clean, secure space, follow their normal routines, and give them plenty of attention so they feel at ease. My goal is to create an environment where pets are happy, loved, and cared for just like they would be with their family.

“We are so grateful to have found Jill and her family to watch our Charlotte! What a lovely and comforting experience. We met Jill a month before Charlotte stayed with the family, and she was gracious and kind. Gave us a tour of her home and some time for Charlotte to meet her and their family dog Tucker ( a super sweetie). Jill was super flexible about pickup/dropoff, and responds quickly. We very much appreciated all of the pictures she sent to us of Charlotte during her stay (it looks like she rotated between everyone's laps - her favorite thing!). When I picked Charlotte up, she was calm and happy. She got along fine with Tucker which makes us happy for him too, and Jill's daughter's were super sweet with her. It's a comfort to know that Charlotte is being loved when she stays will Jill just as she is when home with us, and now we can go away with peace of mind. Definitely recommend Jill and her lovely family to care for your furry children.”
