About: I truly have a passion for dogs and their care. My family and I have always owned and cared for friends and co-workers dogs and other pets, and even some with challenges. Many years of experience caring for puppies to senior dogs and also worked in the pet industry, including as a consultant. I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and have studied pet nutrition as well as invested a lot of time and money in dog training. I look forward to working with you and meeting your dogs! I am hoping to grow this business from my home as I know that not all people want to board their dogs in large franchise style facilities and might prefer personalized attention, care and love. We have a long driveway, away from a low traffic road, a fenced in area with a doghouse and plenty of shade, a large gated outdoor deck, indoor bedding and crating when requested. Our dogs have always been indoor crate trained initially, though our current 2-year-old female yellow lab is well behaved and trusted in the house and not using the crate any longer. I have experience with all ages from puppies to senior dogs with special medical requirements. My own dog, Luke, is very dog friendly as we always have fosters in & out of the home. I work from home M-F so there is almost always somebody home with your pet. My schedule is flexible to accommodate frequent potty breaks. On weekends, my husband and I like to take whatever dogs are in our home on a short, or long hike depending on the tolerance of the animal. Pets are family! I will accomodate any reasonable request. We have baby gates up to separate the dogs in the home if needed..if your dog is crate trained, we have a crate set up in the family room. About: I have been taking care of dogs almost my whole life, and finally decided to branch out and get more clients on my roster. I am a nineteen year old college student studying to become a music teacher, and I have two small dogs of my own. I have experience with large dogs, medium dogs, tiny dogs- you name it! I’ve worked with puppies to seniors. I can’t wait to help take care of your furry friends! I’m currently attending community college in Enfield during the week (except Friday’s) and spend the weekends with my parents and my sister in their summer home. About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.
About: I have been walking and caring for my own personal animals - 2 dogs, cat, bird, hamsters since I was 5 years old. I also have been dog sitting and walking for numerous neighbors and friends in the area. I work during the day a full-time job. I am available early in the morning and after 4:00pm during the week. I am available on the weekends anytime of the day. I have a fenced in backyard that my 4 year old Brittany Spaniel, Maggie loves to run around and play ball. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. Through the years I’ve done fundraisers for local shelters, looked after and groomed family dogs, given pet care advice, and for the last four years have worked professionally as a kennel attendant. I’ve been able to meet and work with pets of all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities; from blind/deaf dogs, senior dogs, aggressive dogs, puppies/kittens, diabetic dogs and cats, and so many more. Each of them provides an invaluable experiences that teaches me patience, compassion, and communication. I’m now the proud owner of a 11 month old cat, Balrog, and of a 13 year old chihuahua, Mia. Though I am a full time student and a part time kennel attendant, I am able to be more flexible with my schedule over summer break. My current availability is as follows, Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: All day Wednesday: All day Thursday: All day Friday: All day Saturday: All day Sunday: Unavailable While I do not have any space in my home to keep animals at the moment, in a clients home I am happy to play with pets, let them out or go on walks, crate if desired, clean up any possible mess, and overall act as a safe and friendly part of a pet’s environment in any way possible.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has come to appreciate the value of having a dog who is raised in a loving, safe family environment. My goal is to make sure that your dog feels the same love that my dogs do when they’re with me and my family. I have 4 kids who will make sure that your best friend goes home good and tired after a day of running around! We have a large fenced in yard, good for running and chewing on endless supply of sticks.I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs so, very used to big dogs. My female is not spayed and therefore I will not accept any male dogs who are still intact. I have crates (big and small) if your dog is crate trained. Otherwise we gate them in our dog room for when I leave the house. We take group walks in the neighborhood and play pretty much all day! I am available weekdays between 7:30am- 7pm, I do have some obligations depending on the day (school drop off and kids sports in evening) but very flexible. Weekends: 9am- 9pm I do have a few dogs each day for daycare so there’s always plenty of friends to play with. Overnight dogs are welcome to sleep on the couch, In the kids rooms or in my room but my big bERNERS already have the bed and there’s just not enough room for others ha! As a general practice I do not take bully breeds, German Shepards or crazy high energy dogs. I am not a commercial operation, this is my home and dogs need to be able to acclimate and have appropriate house manners. Flexible schedule most days, although the times do change each day per my families schedules. A general day includes playing, napping, wandering about the yard, napping and snuggling. Fully fenced in yard, about 2 acres. Lots of shade, wooded areas and also places to sun bathe. Inside the dogs are free to move about the house with us. If someone is not home, dogs are either gated or crated depending on your dogs normal preferences.

About: I have taken care of family pets for approximately 8 years. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your pet as my own. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to play with your fur baby as well as keep to any desired schedules. I have a fenced yard with a friendly dog that will love to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate your dog if that’s preferred.

“We boarded our dog, Guinness, with Heather and Norman for two days, and they were absolutely wonderful! Heather and Norman were sweet and took excellent care of Guinness. They took him for walks and even sent us photos. It was clear that Guinness and their dog, Zeus, got along so well and had a great time playing together.
