About: I have been grooming dogs for over 18 years, and boarding clients' pups in my home for 16 years. My 13 yr old homeschooled son and I adore all dogs. We have 2 wonderful medium sized girls (Myla 8, Josie 1.5) who love all dogs and people! My career in grooming means I truly 'speak dog' and understand their quirks and needs. I have extensive experience with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable administering oral and injectible medications, as well as supplements. Our dogs eat a raw diet, so food & water bowls get sterilized after each meal. Since we homeschool, we spend a lot of time at home or close by with friends. My son often has friends over who love to play with dogs. This means we have a great balance of calm & quiet time, as well as active & fun time. Our lovely property has Invisible Fence for about a acre, so any dogs trained on it get to enjoy lots of untethered play time. Every dog who stays gets a temporary ID tag with my address and phone number in case of accidental 'escape' We love couch cuddles, and both of our girls sleep in bed with my son. We also have dog beds everywhere, and crates & gates available when needed.

“A savior. My dog was previously discriminated against at a kennel because of my dogs breed, and I was at a loss of what to do when entrusting my dogs care, and time was of the essence. Finding someone new was uncomfortable at best, but meeting Rich and his crew, and seeing how much my dog loved being there was a HUGE comfort. When I left Fin there, I did not worry, and that is saying something, as I was flying across the country, and leaving my dog in his care. I got very frequent updates and photos on how Fin was doing. About: I am an animal lover here to help! I grew up with animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I also owned ducks and chickens for several the years. I have many years experience with a variety of medical issues pertaining to dogs and cats, including allergies and epilepsy. I also have years of experience in dog and puppy training (not professionally), including adopting my own puppy 2 years ago. That same puppy is now approved and undergoing training to be a psychiatric service dog. My other 2 dogs are also well trained. Although we’re happy to take it easy, we also love to hike and would be happy to take your dog along! I work with animals full time and love it! My schedule changes based on the needs of my clients for that week, and I adjust as needed. My pets are my babies! I have a fenced in yard, with a dog door to access it. It does close, and can be kept closed during the day if needed as my dogs are extremely well trained, and also have the option to access to my home office (a separate building in the back yard) if needed. They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. One of our dogs had to retire from long walks and hikes, so he stays home now, but he still loves a good car ride and a short easy walk!

About: I've been taking care of my own dog since we first got her 7 years ago, and I also used to volunteer at the New Milford Animal Shelter. My family fosters animals (both cats and dogs) from Because 4 Paws in New Milford, so I have some basic experience with administering medicines and helping others administer medicines. I've also been a dog sitter for 3 different families. I recently moved back to the east coast and am looking for some side work while I hunt for a full time job. I'm not sure when that will be, so I'm trying not to set my availability too far out, but am still flexible for now! Depending on what the owners are comfortable with, I would love to take the dogs out for a walk at a nearby park or walking trail. We have four cats at our house that are wary of new animals, so I am unable to pet sit at my residence. About: I have been grooming dogs for over 18 years, and boarding clients' pups in my home for 16 years. My 13 yr old homeschooled son and I adore all dogs. We have 2 wonderful medium sized girls (Myla 8, Josie 1.5) who love all dogs and people! My career in grooming means I truly 'speak dog' and understand their quirks and needs. I have extensive experience with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable administering oral and injectible medications, as well as supplements. Our dogs eat a raw diet, so food & water bowls get sterilized after each meal. Since we homeschool, we spend a lot of time at home or close by with friends. My son often has friends over who love to play with dogs. This means we have a great balance of calm & quiet time, as well as active & fun time. Our lovely property has Invisible Fence for about a acre, so any dogs trained on it get to enjoy lots of untethered play time. Every dog who stays gets a temporary ID tag with my address and phone number in case of accidental 'escape' We love couch cuddles, and both of our girls sleep in bed with my son. We also have dog beds everywhere, and crates & gates available when needed.

When I left Fin there, I did not worry, and that is saying something, as I was flying across the country, and leaving my dog in his care. I got very frequent updates and photos on how Fin was doing.
