This was the first time using Rover as I was not comfortable leaving her in a kennel again for this long as my dog gets very anxious and sad when we are away and my usual in house dog sitter was with us on vacation. Mary Ann lives just 10 minutes from my house with a lovely fenced in side yard for her to go to the bathroom outside and just run around not being on a leash, which is just like home. Also being able to jump on the furniture and the beds was a plus too, again just like home. And she did not have any issues getting too anxious which is what I was hoping for. “Samantha & Michael are OUTSTANDING!! They are very compassionate and understanding people!! We had a very unique situation, and they could not have done more for us to make us feel comfortable. Our 8 year old pup doesn’t always get along with other dogs. While visiting our family in New York for Christmas - we needed to find someone just for Christmas Day (about 9 hours - not over night) since there were going to be other dogs at the house we were at. Even though Samantha and Michael have 2 dogs of their own, they assured us that the way their house is set up (inside & outside) the dogs wouldn’t see each other and it wouldn’t be a problem at all, plus they shared that they’ve had experience with one of their own pups in years past not getting along with other animals or people. They even had baby gates if they needed to use them. And they were right!!! Everything was fine - no issues at all!!! They truly went above & beyond for us and our pup and we truly consider them our Christmas Angels!!! They sent pictures and texts throughout the day updating us, which really put us at ease and helped us enjoy our Christmas Day!! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and took the responsibility of taking care of and training our family dogs. They all turned out great with my first dog becoming a therapy dog helping children. Can’t imagine a world without a dog by your side! I currently work in a school system so during holidays, school breaks, and the summer I’m the most free but can always help once I get out of school as well. Great backyard with a pup to play with. Lots of shade and fencing. Many toys and such to play with as well. Great spot for dogs to relax.

About: I've taken care of dogs for the past 8 years. We (my husband and I) have rescued and adopted 3 dogs all within the past 5 years. We live on a large piece of land and have plenty of room to play fetch and go on walks. We even have a stream for a little dip or sip. We are patient and love to play over here. I believe cuddles and attention are extremely important! I work from home so I am around a lot and am always with the dogs, they are never alone. I am able to take them out regularly for walks and to play. We tend to go outside quite a bit on a nice day. I have a large property away from the road. We have a gate and a meadow nestled back in the woods where there are no cars in sight. We have a small fenced in area if that is what a particular dog needs to spend some time outside.

We have a super friendly and playful 2.5 year old neutered Frenchton named Gus who is 40 pounds and enjoys any and all company! We got our puppy Louie in April 2023. He is an adorable almost 1 year old French Bulldog. Our 2 cats are pretty shy of other humans and pets outside of their family-but they love a good petting and join us on walks! We also have chickens for eggs-but they are outside and safely caged. We spend as much time as possible outside enjoying nature and our pets happily join us!

Whether it's keeping a medication schedule on track, assisting with mobility challenges, or simply providing a quiet space for a nervous soul to decompress, I focus on creating a safe, gentle environment where every animal in my care can truly relax. If for some reason (vacations/getaways) we are unavailable it will be marked on the calendar. I do my best to confirm my calendar and availability daily. Our front and back yard is fenced in and we are set back from the road. There is plenty of room to run and play. As for feeding; All dogs and/or cats will be fed separately. This includes treats.
About: I grew up with two dogs in my house that I was the main care taker of. We have also had Guinea pigs and rabbits. My work schedule rotates. So I would be available different days In the week. My schedule will be updated on that app weekly for my current schedule I will care for your pets like they are my own. I enjoy meeting new pets and making them happy. Dog walks are my favorite!
About: Ever since I was young, I have had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. About: I been taking care of dogs for a couple of years now. I grew up with many different animals and grew a passion to help any animal I could. I’m home full time and have a big fenced yard. When I board dog we spent a lot of time in the yard play fetch or just relaxing it’s up to what they want to do. There’s always a clean blow of water for them to keep hydrated . About: I have had dogs my whole life but 2 of my dogs gave birth to 11 puppies in October of 2022 and I helped take care of them all until they were ready to go to their new homes. I kept one of the puppies and have taken care of her since she was a newborn so I am very familiar around all types of dogs. While visiting our family in New York for Christmas - we needed to find someone just for Christmas Day (about 9 hours - not over night) since there were going to be other dogs at the house we were at. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”
