About: Growing up my family always had a dog. Over the years we have had a total of three. I am lucky to be a dog dad myself now of my beautiful rescue Lola. Having her as a few month old puppy, my fiancée and I were able to train her so I do have experience and patience with puppies, along with older dogs as well. Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.

I work from home Monday and Friday where my morning starts with letting my dog out, feeding our guinea pigs, and letting our turkeys out into their pen. Saturday and Sunday are usually weather dependent. If it’s bad weather out I will break out the snuffle mat for some mental stimulation for my dog. If it’s nice I usually go on at least one long hike. Pets kept overnight will be kept in the spare bedroom, which has a bed they can sleep on, or space for a crate. We have our own 12 year old mixed breed dog and a fenced in back yard area for the dogs to mingle and do business as they please. We also do not take more than one dog sitting gig at a time so that our dog and your dog(s) establish a pack and are comfortable and safe in our home. My husband works from home 5 days a week and makes his own schedule. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and any weekend travel is updated through our app months in advance We are hyper aware of any changes in your pets disposition, eating and drinking behavior, and we always pick up #2 from our yard so we are very in-tune to any changes in the bathroom department 🤣. We know first-hand that it can be stressful leaving your pet at an unfamiliar home and find that having another dog around (as well as a dog cam in the house) helps them relax while also allowing us to make sure they’re adjusting okay even if we are out running errands. We make sure that the dogs are never home alone for longer than 4 hours maximum, and are well exercised before any time they’re left alone. We also do let them sleep on the couches and make sure they get plenty of cuddles during their stay with us.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I am a Vet Tech full-time with hands-on experience working around dogs in both grooming and veterinary settings. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs, including those who require extra patience or medical attention. I provide loving, reliable, and attentive care while keeping pet parents updated so they always feel at ease and informed. I currently work a full time job as a vet tech in a local general practice, if I’m pet sitting I’m allow to take them with me, where they are going to be loved for everyone working there. I’m off Tuesday, Thursdays and saturdays afternoon and Sunday all day, mon-wed-Friday work 9-5 My location is 2min from a dog park where I walk my own pets everyday. I’ll always use leash walking them. Also I’ll be sending pictures to owners every day to keep owners informed

“It was our first time boarding Cleo, our 4 year old labrador, with Gwynne, and it was an excellent experience! Gwynne was very quick to respond to inquiries, took time to ask about Cleo, offered to arrange a “meet and greet” to make sure that Cleo gets along with her own dog, Flash. During her stay, we received daily updates with cute pictures and videos. Cleo got ton of exercises with Gwynne and her family, they even took her to lake Mohegan which is Cleo’s favorite destination! Overall I highly recommend Gwynne! Cleo will be back!”
