The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

About: I have been called Dr. Doolittle my entire life. I have a knack for connecting with animals of all kinds. About: Growing up my family always had a dog. Over the years we have had a total of three. I am lucky to be a dog dad myself now of my beautiful rescue Lola. Having her as a few month old puppy, my fiancée and I were able to train her so I do have experience and patience with puppies, along with older dogs as well. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can do morning or evening visits or walks depending on what works for you and your pet! What I find works best is to meet with the dog and owner before hand to find out what kind of routine works best for them, what toys they like to play with, favorite treats ect. About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.
About: I have taken care of many, many dogs. I can also come whenever and multiple times a day! No issue! I love playing with dogs just as much as I love taking care of them. I can take care of them at any time. Never too early or too late. I can come multiple times a day or just once! Whatever is needed. I ensure to always have them on leash and in a fenced area. If I am walking the dog and a car comes I ensure s/he is in between my legs. I can also crate the dog if needed.
About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I've only pet sit a little, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.

From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have developed a strong understanding of canine behavior and needs. I am currently a para at preschool. Off for the next 2 weeks will be working summer program Monday -Thursday 8-1 am very flexible with any time I’m not working. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

About: Often called the dog whisperer of my family, I take the time to care for pets and build a connection that is almost instantaneous! I have been the main caretaker for my dogs for a lot of my life, so I have experience with puppies to senior dogs! I also have experience with cats and am prepared to assist your fur children with whatever they need! My schedule is flexible as I’m a new grad, so I am adaptable to what your pets need. I never take dogs off leash outside of the home. Right before I walk them outside, I put on the leash and make sure they are fully secured to their harness or collar! When I walk into the home, I greet the furry friends, provide a treat, and get to know them before we head out. Once we’re back, I either put them back in their crate if requested or make sure they’re all set up for the rest of the day. I’m currently a new grad, and currently looking to start my career while I work part-time. My schedule at this time is pretty open, so multiple times of the day are available! I have 3 friendly terriers that are excited to meet your pup if that’s preferred. I am able to take your pup on walks at their favorite trail/park or in their home space! I can crate your dog if needed, or get them set up with food, water, whatever they need until you’re home!
