About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I have little experience with pet sitting, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.

About: I am a life long dog lover with many years of experience taking care of dogs as well as fostering dogs in need! I believe boarding should feel less like a kennel and more like your dog is staying with family. That's why I keep my boarding groups small, so every dog gets plenty of individual attention, affection, playtime, and space to relax. Your dog becomes part of the household while they're here not just another dog on the schedule. Dogs are welcome to make themselves completely at home. They can curl up on the couch, nap on the bed, play with friends, or find a quiet place to relax when they've had enough excitement. And when they're ready for an adventure, there's plenty of that too! A typical stay can include walks, outdoor play, trips around town, dog park adventures when appropriate, and lots of one on one attention. My goal is simple, when you go on vacation, your dog gets a vacation too! Dog sitting is my full time focus, which means your dog isn't being squeezed into my schedule they're part of it! Being home and available throughout the day allows me to give each dog plenty of attention, playtime, outdoor breaks, walks, and, of course, plenty of time to relax and make themselves at home. When your dog stays with me, caring for them isn't something I do around my day, it's my day! 🐶❤️ Fewer dogs means more individual attention, easier supervision, more personalized care, and a calmer home environment. It also allows me to get to know each dog's personality and routine instead of treating every stay the same. Whether your dog wants to spend the afternoon playing with friends, following me around the house, exploring outside, or snoozing on the couch, I want them to feel comfortable being themselves.

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have always enjoyed playing with them. There was once that my dog had puppies and I remember seeing her giving birth and my parents caring for them. Today, I can’t have a dog in the house, so I enjoy caring for people’s dogs. My schedule varies so I’m available part-time some week days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and some weekends. I have older kids who also love animals and may tag along with me when they’re available. At home I don’t have pets of my own except for fish, so your dog will have full attention. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. About: It all started with my grandfather and his little homestead. Learning and tending to his chickens, rabbits, goats and dogs and cats. I can't remember a time when my house wasn't filled and still is with all sorts of animal friends. I have experience with many different animals. About: Although most of my formal rescue work has been with cats, dogs have always been part of my life too. I adopted my Shiba Inu in 2019, and caring for him as he’s aged has given me real-world experience with senior dog needs. He’s now 11+ with a heart condition that requires medication twice a day, and I handle all of his care — nail trims, baths, daily walks, and occasional vet‑prescribed injections for arthritis. He’s taught me so much about patience, routine, and gentle medical handling. I’ve worked with a loud, high-energy Red Heeler; several bold little “Napoleon” Chihuahuas; a nervous, skeptical Dachshund; a giant, gentle German Shepherd; multiple Boston Terriers; a super-smart, high-energy Poodle/Yorkie mix; and a regal Doberman Pinscher. These dogs have given me hands-on experience with everything from anxious and spicy temperaments to confident, goofy, or highly intelligent behavior. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs — playing fetch, going for long walks, or even tackling a strenuous hike. Having a good dog as a companion makes those moments even better. I may be a cat specialist by profession, but I’m a dedicated dog owner by heart, and I bring that same love, attentiveness, and adaptability to every dog I look after. Every day I take care of my own personal and foster animals (cats and 1 dog) and then start making my rounds to feed the local feral colonies. Pet care is my life, not just my routine. There isn't a day that goes by where I am not caring for animals. I will happily comply with my client's instructions about the routine for their pet. I am comfortable giving treats, playing, petting, going on walks/hikes/car rides, feeding, brushing, and crating. “Wow, Valerie was amazing. I knew my dogs and cat were in good care. She sent us photos throughout the ENTIRE stay and it made me feel so comfortable. My family was worried about leaving our pets with a 'stranger' but Valerie didnt feel like that to us. Her property was GORGEOUS! and had so much room for the puppies to run around and play. They were all tired out and we could tell by the photos she sent us of our dogs sleeping. My cat was also welcomed and had a nice time too. 11/10”

About: Pets been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I am a real dog mom and my family and I have been first priority for friends and family when a dog, rabbit or another pet were in need of a home away from home. We love animals. I am pretty flexible with my schedule and can usually move things around. (And if I can’t go my daughter at 16 will be happy to be there for you and your pet.) Our own garden is fenced all around and is a great playground for all dogs. I love to bring your dog here doing the day or I’ll just stay in your home with your pet.

About: I’ve been welcoming other people’s dogs into my home for more than 20 years. It started because I knew firsthand how hard it was to leave my own dog when I traveled. I wanted there to be another option for people like me—people who couldn’t imagine leaving their dog in a kennel but also weren’t comfortable having someone stay in their home. What began as something I offered to friends became something I genuinely love doing. There’s something very special about watching a dog arrive in an unfamiliar place, helping them settle in and trust me, and eventually seeing them stretched out on the couch or curled up beside me as though they’ve always lived here. I still miss them when they go home. I board dogs from only one family at a time because I want their stay to feel less like boarding and more like their own vacation. While they’re here, they live with me as part of my household. I work from home and structure my days around them, so they have plenty of companionship and frequent access to my fully fenced yard. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from very small dogs to dogs over 100 lbs, as well as puppies and seniors. They’re welcome on my furniture and, if they sleep with their people at home, they’re welcome to sleep with me. I don’t routinely crate dogs, but I’ll maintain a dog’s crate routine if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I require a Meet & Greet before accepting a new dog because I want your dog to be comfortable with me, my home and my dog—and I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving them with me. After more than 20 years, the reason I do this hasn’t changed. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is enjoying theirs, too—living in a home, getting affection and companionship, and being cared for by someone who understands just how much they mean to you. While your dog is in my care, I structure my days around them. I work from home, have my groceries delivered and generally don’t schedule activities that require me to leave them alone. There’s no rigid boarding schedule here—their normal routine becomes part of mine. Whether they want to follow me around the house, nap beside me while I work, play, cuddle or head into the fenced yard, they have companionship throughout the day. While your dog is with me, I treat them as one of my own, with the same love, attention and care I give my own dog. Before a dog stays with me for the first time, I require a Meet & Greet with my dog so we can make sure they’re comfortable together before you leave your dog in my care. I board dogs from only one family at a time, so there aren’t unfamiliar boarding dogs constantly coming and going. My yard is fully fenced, and while your dog is here, I follow your instructions for feeding, medications and normal routines. I don’t crate dogs unless their family specifically requires it as part of their normal routine.
