“We were extremely happy with our experience! Ryan was knowledgeable and attentive to our dog. We received many updates and pictures while we were away which we really appreciated. He was even willing to bathe him after a run in with a mud puddle. 😅 We’ll definitely be repeat customers.”

“Daisy lived her overnight stay with Saori. She came home happy and super relaxed. I loved getting photo updates throughout her stay. I knew Daisy was in good hands and it helped make my trip so much more enjoyable knowing she was safe and well cared for. I’ll be booking again soon.”

“Kathryn is probably the best Rover sitter we’ve had (and we’ve used some lovely sitters). Our dogs are anxious when they’re left, and Kathryn really helped them feel at ease - her fenced yard was perfect and they just seemed to trust her. I’d highly recommend booking your pet’s stay with her!”

“I was very pleased with the care my dog received from Rachel. She sent multiple pictures & videos daily. He was well cared for & had a wonderful time as per the photos! He was taken on long hikes daily. I would feel very comfortable having Rachel watch him again and highly recommend her.”

“Claudia is fabulous. She was wonderful and patient with our nervous dog, and so flexible when we accidentally booked the wrong dates!! Paisley will definitely be staying with Claudia again.”
“We had a great experience boarding our two pups with Andrea. She had a house full of other dogs, but somehow our dogs didn’t come home smelling and their hair was clean and soft, so they were clearly getting lots of exercise. Other than being absolutely exhausted from all the fun and excitement, they look very happy and healthy after a week away. We got photos most days, along with little updates. We’d recommend Andrea to others whose dogs like playing with other dogs.”

“I booked with Hazard for a weekend, and I can’t say enough positive things about the experience. They were truly awesome! From the start, I felt completely at ease thanks to the frequent photo updates they sent. It was wonderful not having to wonder how my dog was doing because I got to see him happy and well cared for throughout the day. On top of that, they even provided a cute “report card” at the end of the day, which was such a thoughtful touch and gave me a great little summary of how he did. Overall, I was really happy with their care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

“Our boxer, Daisy, stayed with Valerie while we vacationed for a week in Florida. Valerie and her family were great from the start, not only with Daisy but also entertaining my eight year old son when we arrived for an introductory visit. They had plenty of room for Daisy to run around and two playful but well behaved dogs of their own that accepted Daisy in. Valerie provided updates during the week to let us know how Daisy was adapting and getting along with everyone and how much her family loved having her. She was also extremely flexible with drop off and pick up times knowing our hectic travel schedule. The next time we go away for an extended period, Valerie is definitely my first contact attempt.”
“Gus loved Kyle the moment they met. Supper attentive to the needs of my four legged friend and treated Gus like a king. I will definitely be using Kyle for boarding again!”

“Lily was super accommodating and shared lots of photo of our puppy while we were away. Gracie-May seemed to have lots of fun staying with Lily and co. Many thanks!”

“I had a great experience and would definitely book with her again! She was very responsive and always answered my texts quickly. She sent photos and videos at least twice a day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She really made sure my dog was comfortable throughout his stay. Since he was there over the Fourth of July, she even turned up the AC to help drown out the fireworks, which I really appreciated. I was initially a little nervous because three other dogs were staying with her at the same time, but she reassured me they were all getting along and sent videos so I could see for myself. In the end, my dog looked like he was having an amazing time! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter.”

“Nicole is absolutely the best! Not only is she warm, welcoming, and very accommodating, her veterinary experience and obvious love of dogs assures us that Bluebelle is in the very best hands. Her daily updates and pictures keep us posted on the great time Blue is having with Nicole and her family in their very dog-friendly home and backyard. The best endorsement of all, though, is Blue's excitement and crazy tail-wagging when we mention Nicole's name! Five stars doesn't begin to say enough!!”

“Robin is a lovely person who took excellent care of our dog. She kept us updated on everything and I could tell our dog was comfortable and relaxed when we returned. We will definitely be booking with Robin again!”

“Catherine was wonderful with Josie, she attended to every one of her needs and treated her like the true diva that she is! She gave her her drops, her eye drops three times a day on schedule, sent me pictures and videos. I was hoping Josie would a still wanna come home with me and not stay with Catherine.!!!Sue w.”

“Anner is very professional. He is flexible with time changes to pick up and drop off. He also takes great care of my pup when he is there. Even lightly grooming him smelling fresh and trimmed nails. Highly recommend to anyone looking for dog assistance.”

“First thing- Meghan was great! Finn states with her fior 4 nights and I couldn’t have asked for more out of a sitter. She communicated well with us during his stay and is overall a very kind, responsible sitter. I will (and I’m sure Finn) be looking forward to booking with her in the future!”
“Rich is indeed a star sitter! Our Boston terrier,Rocky, had a wonderful time ( 10 days) in Rich’s place. Rich was diligent of sending daily reports depicting various activities involving Rocky and Rich friendly dogs, Toro and Peach. I have an impression that Rocky spent 10 days in boyscout summer camp. We highly recommend Rich. Leo”

“This is my second time having my fur baby with Sue. It was a much longer visit this time (a week) amd Sue remained her kind communicative self. Would recommend in a heartbeat. She goes above and beyond. Thank you! 💕”

“Sarah was great taking care of my 2 cats. I also had an unexpected family emergency and she was able to do a few extra visits last minute. She was truly a lifesaver when I was dealing with a difficult time and I’m very grateful for her kindness and flexibility to ensure my cats were taken care of.”

About: I’ve cared for cats for years and genuinely enjoy getting to know each one’s personality. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m patient and attentive to their needs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving medication if needed. I understand how important it is to feel confident while you’re away, so I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication. My goal is to keep your cat comfortable, safe, and stress-free in their own environment.
“Nicky was great with our two large dogs. The older one, 10, has always been very suspicious of new people, but Nicky cracked the code! Definitely a true dog lover. We will definitely use her services again when needed.”

“I had an excellent experience with Cam, who took care of my 2 cats and 2 bunnies while I went on a brief vacation. Cam is reliable and attentive and updated me after each visit with notes and pictures. My pets were happy and relaxed when I returned and my house was spotless. I would definitely rebook with Cam!”

“Erin was amazing with my cat and young kitten! She was super communicative, sent picture updates every visit, and my shy babies even let her pet them which is super rare. She eased my worries of leaving them for a few days and I hope she’s available whenever I need a sitter in the future. Thanks for taking good care of Goldie and Papaya!”

“This is our second time booking Alex. She is always responsive, responsible and the kitties love her. She takes time and plays with them and was even willing to help with my little finch. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Rachel was awesome and kept us updated while we were gone and appreciate all the love she gave our cats. It allowed us to enjoy our trip without stressing about our two cats.”

“Dee is a wonderful sitter for my kitty! She lets me know key details of how the visits go, and is patient with my girl who may or may not be in a social mood. Dee is also very flexible with last minute bookings and her care is much appreciated!”

About: The cats I’ve experienced with never fail to keep me on my toes whether it’s finding something to crinkle such as a brown bag or a small ribbon to fetch or even climbing to new heights such as a refrigerator. I’ve had experience giving pill form and liquid medication. Cat litter boxes are my specialty. Never had a cat not feel cozy and comfortable while relieving themselves.

About: I have several years of hands on experience caring for a wide range of pets, from energetic puppies to senior dogs and cats I just love animals. I am available 7 days a week June through August. I have a very flexible schedule right now for pet sitting and taking care of pets. I currently have four pets two dogs and two cats in my home. They are all very important members of my family and I will treat any pet like it’s my own.
About: Big or small, I love them all! As an avid pet-lover since a young age, I've spent all of my young, adult, and professional life around animals. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Animal Science, so I am well versed in nutrition, anatomy, physiology, communication, and training and have since worked as a veterinary assistant in small animal clinics and as a caretaker for exotic animals. I've gained a lot of experience around dogs of various breeds as a foster parent for my local shelters, and I now raise two of my own (a mutt and a Border Collie!) that always keep me on my toes. I have experience with all ages, breeds, sizes, and needs and am comfortable administering medication if needed. I am available most weekdays as well as most weekends! I may limit the number of bookings I take on each day to allow to time care for my own, but my schedule is very flexible and I can work with you to find the best routine! I cannot currently bring any pets into my own home, but I am comfortable picking up and dropping off at your home with proper instruction. Additionally, I always double check that water is provided, they are securely crated if needed, and leashes/collars are properly secured/removed when we head out for walks.
“Lanie saved us at the last minute when our usual sitter wasn’t available. She went above and beyond to communicate updates, accommodate special requests, and more. Thank you for the excellent care, Lanie!”

“Anna took really great care of my cat. I can tell she has a genuine interest in the wellbeing of animals. She even sent a photo during her visit which put me at ease. Would definitely use again!”

“My dog, Luna, had a great day at Kyle’s. He’s got a great setup for pups to play inside and out, and he clearly understands dogs well and is able to give them great care. Luna is very nervous around new people, and Kyle was able to attend to her needs and made sure she was comfortable during her stay. Will definitely be back.”

“Andrea is a terrific find. As a former licensed family day care provider for children, she takes the same attentive care to each dog in her daycare pack. My puppy gets so excited and runs like crazy into her house as soon as we enter the driveway. We go 2-3 times a week now. Andrea Is so flexible in the number of hours and changing schedules our dog can stay, she’s greatly improved my life and given me far more freedom than our dear but demanding dog’s constant need for socializing and play can provide, when I have to sit at my desk for long periods to work, or spend the day in NYC for many hours. We’re so grateful for Andrea’s daily smile, unruffled calm with the animals, and sense of responsibility. The assorted fur kids, with daily alternates, all seem to get along comfortably. This our 3rd CT dog, this time a King Charles Cavalier, would show it if he wasn’t really happy. Thank you Andrea!”
“Highly recommend! My baby was well taken care of! Tinaclem was super friendly. When we arrived she introduced her dog with mine and brought them both to the back yard so she can get familiar with the yard and was very welcoming! Many walks and lots of pics for updates! ❤️My baby was pooped for days! She already misses Elvis! Sweet dog she has!”

We have a friendly old King Charles Spaniel that Can keep your dog company and we live on a beautiful secluded circle with almost no traffic for long safe walks.

“Claudia took very good care of Maverick for the day. She texted me pictures of him. He had fun playing with the other dogs. He was able to go outside leash free in a fenced in area and do his business. She even hand fed him his food to make him feel comfortable. She discovered that he liked his belly rubbed. Claudia was very conscious of gathering up all of his toys and belongings when we picked him up. We will use her again!!”

“Val ( and family ) were absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute booking for our dog, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Throughout the week, she sent lots of photos and videos, keeping us updated and reassured that our pup was happy and well cared for. I would 100% recommend Erin to anyone looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and trusted person to take care of their dog. We will be booking with Erin again in the future. Thank you so much again!”

About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I've only pet sit a little, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.
“Lindsey is just an amazing person and so sweet with Benny. She's kind, loving, gentle and caring. Benny absolutely LOVES going on walks with her! He looks SO happy in the photos. What a blessing she is. So very grateful that we found Lindsey!!”

About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.
About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, and rabbits. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.
About: Hi! I’m Annabelle, I’m 20 years old, and I’ve been taking care of dogs all my life! I first got two dogs at six years old and since then we’ve had another 10! We’ve had a mix of labradors, pitbulls and great pyrenees! I also used to dog sit for a family with roughly 13 dogs (some were their personal dogs and some fosters so the number varied). These dogs ranged from cane corsos to chihuahuas so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I also used to dog sit during that time as well for various other families. I have experience with both puppies and elder dogs as well! Overall I’m very comfortable taking care of dogs and enjoy it very much! I typically go on a lot of walks and hikes during the week because I really enjoy getting outside and moving my body. Sometimes I take my dogs on walks, but they’re all a bit lazy, so being able to walk other dogs would fit perfectly into my schedule and I would love to do so. Otherwise my schedule is very flexible. In my home I always have an eye on my babies and I’m always snuggling with them! I would take care of anyone else’s pets as I treat my own, with lots of love and care! I also like to set little reminders for when the pets need to go outside, eat, or take any medications, just as an extra precaution. I always do my best to ensure my pets as well as others are always as comfortable and happy as possible when they’re with me!
“Anna has given care to our beloved dog on 2 occasions with 5 walks. She has provided him with exceptional attention and love. Our dog is 13+ years old and we are always sensitive about his health- we don't have to worry about that with Anna at his side. Is there any greater piece of mind than that?”

I also volunteer as a dog walker, socializer, and trainer at Danbury Animal Welfare Society, where I work with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, and needs. My style is calm, patient, and attentive, whether your dog needs a real exercise walk, your cat needs a quiet check-in, or your older pet just needs someone gentle and consistent. I know trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big deal, so I take reliability seriously. I’ll show up when I say I will, pay attention to your pet’s routine, and send clear updates so you know they’re safe, happy, and cared for. I currently work full time, but my evenings and weekends are often free. I’m a good fit for weekend walks, evening check-ins, drop-in visits, and occasional pet care when your regular routine needs extra support. Because I value reliability, I only accept bookings I know I can show up for fully and on time. I pay close attention to each pet’s body language, comfort level, routines, and boundaries, and I never force interactions with people, dogs, or unfamiliar situations. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, avoid unsafe areas, and adjust the pace to the dog’s age, energy, and temperament. I’m comfortable with shy, anxious, energetic, and older pets, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. For drop-ins, I’ll respect your home, follow your instructions carefully, check food, water, litter, doors, and gates, and send clear updates so you know how your pet is doing.
