About: The cats I’ve experienced with never fail to keep me on my toes whether it’s finding something to crinkle such as a brown bag or a small ribbon to fetch or even climbing to new heights such as a refrigerator. I’ve had experience giving pill form and liquid medication. Cat litter boxes are my specialty. Never had a cat not feel cozy and comfortable while relieving themselves.

About: Hi all! I just recently graduated from Bates college and am looking to pet sit! I’ve been taking care of family dogs and cats my whole life, but started pet sitting for others when I was 13. I am looking to go back to school in the future to get my doctorate in physical therapy, but in the meantime I’ll be home all summer and throughout the upcoming school year! I currently am working part time as a lifeguard while I am home for the summer but my schedule varies each week so there are no specific days off limits! About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I have little experience with pet sitting, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.
About: I have taken care of many, many dogs. I can also come whenever and multiple times a day! No issue! I love playing with dogs just as much as I love taking care of them. I can take care of them at any time. Never too early or too late. I can come multiple times a day or just once! Whatever is needed. I ensure to always have them on leash and in a fenced area. If I am walking the dog and a car comes I ensure s/he is in between my legs. I can also crate the dog if needed.

About: My husband and I live in a cabin in the woods (literally!) and have been dog owners our whole lives. We have our own 12 year old mixed breed dog and a fenced in back yard area for the dogs to mingle and do business as they please. My husband works from home and makes his own schedule, so we make sure your pet(s) are getting the care and attention they need. We also do not take more than one dog sitting gig at a time so that our dog and your dog(s) establish a pack and are comfortable and safe in our home. My husband works from home 5 days a week and makes his own schedule. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and any weekend travel is updated through our app months in advance We are hyper aware of any changes in your pets disposition, eating and drinking behavior, and we always pick up #2 from our yard so we are very in-tune to any changes in the bathroom department 🤣. We know first-hand that it can be stressful leaving your pet at an unfamiliar home and find that having another dog around (as well as a dog cam in the house) helps them relax while also allowing us to make sure they’re adjusting okay even if we are out running errands. We make sure that the dogs are never home alone for longer than 4 hours maximum, and are well exercised before any time they’re left alone. We also do let them sleep on the couches and make sure they get plenty of cuddles during their stay with us.

About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.
About: I have cared for multiple dog, cat, and rabbit breeds. Friends and family have relied on me numerous times to care for their pets for extended periods of time (days-weeks), including walks, baths, feeding, grooming, and overall patience with their furry family member. I will stick to the same routine you have for your pet as to not further stress the animal. I offer drop-ins, and dog walks! 🐾Walks are usually between 30-60 minutes in your neighborhood. 🐈 Litter box will be cleaned and they’ll have good company, even if they don’t come out I’ll stay just to make sure they’re safe and not getting into trouble. Please let me know if your pet has any medical issues/ special diets. I am experienced with elderly pets and can administer topical treatments as well as oral/fluid medication. You will get updates while I am with your pet, expect pictures and notes. If anything out of the ordinary occurs you will be contacted immediately (if you’re not available please leave another emergency contact that lives close by) I am free most days of the week, and I am currently very flexible. ‼️‼️For house sitting I cannot sleep over but I can stay all day! I usually go to the client’s home to care for the pet as I live with my parents still. I make sure bowls are washed after every meal, treats are given, litter is clean and ensure the pet is comfortable (even in their own home because a new person may cause stress). I’m an early riser and a night owl so morning and night walks are easy (so is breakfast and dinner), and I love being outside.
About: I have owned cats my entire life and have had my own beloved dog for 11 years. Working as a private instructor and teacher, I routinely enter clients' homes and have mastered the art of reading animal body language. I consider myself a bit of a dog and cat "whisperer"—I have zero fear or nervousness around animals, and pets quickly sense my calm, positive aura. I treat every animal I care for with the exact same love, respect, and high-quality attention that I give to my very own pets. As a teacher, my summer schedule opens up beautifully! While I will still be working with a few students, I schedule my lessons earlier in the day to ensure I have maximum flexibility for your pets. My weekends are 100% completely free and dedicated to pet care, and my late afternoons and evenings are entirely open as well. I am highly organized and communicative, so you will always know exactly when I am coming and going. Security, safety, and a calm environment are my top priorities. Because of my professional background as an in-home private instructor, I am deeply respectful of my clients' spaces, privacy, and household rules. I know how to keep a home secure, stick to strict feeding and medical routines, and handle any unexpected situations calmly. I excel at maintaining a stress-free environment so your pets feel completely relaxed, safe, and loved while you are away.
About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, and rabbits. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.
