I will make sure they eat what they’re supposed to be eating and observe for any signs of distress. I will spend quality time with your kitties so they feel loved while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule with remote work days. Weekends are flexible. In most cases, I would be able to make morning and evening cat care visits. I prefer to care for cats in their own home environment. However, we do have the option of several private, closed off areas in our home to host a cat traveler, if needed.

“Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

My cat has only accepted 2 other people prior to this but she felt comfortable with Maddie and let her pet/interact with her too. I went to an ag high school and was enrolled in the vet tech program. I have handled many different animals, as well as many different ages and needs. About: I’ve always had pets growing up. Over the past 20 years I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, turtles, snakes, and hamsters. I love animals more than most humans. My sister is also a vet which is super handy to have. I currently work from home so I can be present and then I have down time I can play and tend to my furry house guest. I have a room for my dogs with a very bring crate, beds and toys. When I have furry guests I can always alternate my dogs in the room or the furry guest into that room. They could also wonder around the apartment as well. My building complex also has a dog park which is nice to run around and play.

About: I’ve taken care of pets, dogs of all sizes, cats. I’ve given medicine orally, and insulin shots. I have sat for pets for several years for family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. I love spending time with all animals between long walks, hiking, and just hanging out on the couch. I work full time but I telework several times per week. Weekends completely available. When I’m at the office my partner is home 24/7 so the pets will never be alone! I have a lead going from the back deck to the shed (across my whole yard) I have two very friendly dogs and cats. I can crate if needed & there is space available if your dog needs to decompress alone without other animals. I slowly introduce animals to make sure everyone coexists well. All dogs are fed separately to avoid any food aggression. We have an over sized, fully gated and covered back deck that the dogs can also hangout on with us safely.

I also used to volunteer at a therapeutic horse-riding center for people with disabilities, where I groomed horses and cleaned their barns. About: I have had cats since I was a baby and had chow chow dogs since I was 13 years old. I also worked at a kennel off and on for 12.5 years. I learned a little training but not a lot. I have worked with all different breeds of dogs. I love snuggling with cats as I grew up with having them in my household. I currently work full time however, full time is 30 hours for me so it allows me to have 3 to 4 days off towards the end of the week depending on the week. We have a large back yard with a dog run and as far as my cat. He is an indoor cat and gets spoiled indoors.
