We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. “Tyler was great! It was our first time hiring a sitter for our girls and using Rover. Tyler was excellent with communication, and even came to our home twice before our first trip to confirm all of the instructions. Everyday he showed up when he was supposed to and gave a detailed report of how each visit went. He was extremely careful when entering and leaving our home as he was made aware that one of our cats was an escape artist. We were very comfortable having Tyler in our home taking care of our cats and he did a great job! We look forward to our next trip and hiring Tyler to come back. In the past, we've packed up our girls and stress them out to have a family member watch them in their space. Tyler allowed us to keep our girls in their own home with familiarity and in keeping with their same feeding schedule. Our girls were calm when we returned home and didn't skip a beat. About: I have always had a passion for animals and wildlife. As an experienced former veterinary technician with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont, I stayed true to passion throughout my career. Twice a week I volunteer in the animal clinic at NEAS, the local animal shelter. During the spring, summer and fall I work on the beach as a Conservation Biologist. My love of animals and especially dogs started when I was very little, and continued through my adult life, until I finally got my own little love. Having a high energy German Shepherd means I am used to breeds of all sizes and exercise requirements. About: Hello everyone, My name is Kristen, I'm an outdoorsy, fitness fanatic with a love and passion for animals! I grew up with lots of dogs, my experience in pet care is from years of caring for my own animals, friends and family's too, as well as volunteering at animal shelters over the years. About: I have over 150 years of animal care with my past pets. My prior home was a farm where I cared for a multitude of animals. All of my past pets were long-lived and very well cared for. Having two to three dogs at a time over the years afforded them time to play together while I worked. Peabody and her dogs got along very well and had a great time playing together. When I picked Peabody up, he was so relaxed and happy. It was obvious that Christle took great care of him. Needless to say, I will be going to Christle again for any of Peabody’s boarding needs.”
