About: I’m a lifelong cat owner with three cats of my own—two rescues and a Ragdoll—and caring for cats with different personalities and medical needs has taught me that every cat is unique. One of my rescues takes daily medication for hyperthyroidism, another receives transdermal Prozac, and my senior girl eats a wet-food-only diet because she’s missing most of her teeth. Because of this, I’m comfortable following feeding routines, administering medications, and paying close attention to the little details that keep cats happy and healthy. I’m especially confident reading feline body language. I understand that hissing, swatting, or hiding are forms of communication—not “bad behavior.” I stay calm, move at the cat’s pace, and work to earn their trust rather than forcing interactions. I also believe play and enrichment are just as important as food and fresh water. I love using wand toys and other interactive play to help cats stay active, confident, and mentally stimulated—always based on what each individual cat enjoys. Safety is my top priority. Living with an escape artist has made me extremely mindful around doors and entryways. About: I have been asked to take care of dogs/cats while family have been out of town on many occasions I have 3 of my own cats and niece and nephew cat (yes) lol also two puppers that are family a newphie and great Pyrenees. Animals are my family and I feel happier with them than I do with people. Depending on location I can be available when needed. I work from home I can be flexible as long as I am communicated with in a timely manner As I have three cats I wouldn’t be able to bring any other pets into my home as they are rescues who have severe anxiety and to keep my fur babies safe I would ask that they be respected and I can only make home visits. “Stephen was fantastic with our Oscar! Lots of walks and love and even took him out to play on the snow. We recieved pictures everyday and a video. We will definitely ask Oscar to vacation with him next time we go out of town.”
