“Dani took great care of my baby! She was very flexible and accommodating. She and her family provided a loving, comfortable, and nurturing home environment during his stay. She provided so many pictures and updates throughout each day. Dani catered to changes in his diet and even cooked homemade food to his liking. To say she spoiled him would be an understatement! I definitely recommend the care in her home to any pet parent!”

“I almost don't want to leave a 5 star review because I don't want to share these folks with anyone. You can't get a much better safer or loving environment for your fur baby. Each day we received communication and so always felt comfortable being away from our boy. Thanks Steve and Kathy for another wonderful stay.”

“This was my first time using Rover/dog sitter and I was nervous leaving my two girls with strangers. After doing a meet and greet with the sitter I felt I made the right decision and was less nervous. I love the care they received with the sitter and their family. Daily updates, pictures and videos showed me just how happy my girls were. I will definitely book with Francis E and her family again, without any hesitation.”

“Jessie, our Springer Spaniel, loved her overnight stay with Laura and her family. Jessie came home rested and happy. We couldn’t be more pleased. We have already booked Jessie’s next visit!”

“Our dog loves going on vacation to Suzanne’s. He was so happy to see her and who could blame him? He gets exercise, snuggles, and a family away from home. Suzanne is very thoughtful about meeting our dogs unique needs and keeping us updated with his activities and some very cute photos. We’ll continue to book Suzanne as long as she is available.”

“Jessica was awesome. She took great care of our lab. She updated us daily with pictures and a short message. Our dog returned so happy and clean. I highly recommend Jessica. She really cares for these beautiful animals.”

“Melissa was very easy to deal with and our dog Sammy seems to have had a great time with her. Melissa gave us several updates on Sammy and sent us lots of pictures of her adventures. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone.”

“This is the first time we have used Rover for our 2 golden retrievers. So glad that we found Tom & Erica. We received daily pictures and messages about how they were settling in. They were very understanding with our departure date changing 2 times due to the blizzard. Our 2 boys seemed very happy there and are booked already for the near future.”

“This was Bodhi’s second stay with Katie and her family. They took wonderful care of him and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your pet with loving care and attention.”

“Copper and Bentley are never away from home but this Christmas I had to leave them with Dawn to accommodate all my daughters' visiting dogs. Dawn not only made them feel at ease, she made ME feel at ease - assuring me they would be fine and sending me pictures to verify that they were. Definitely recommend Dawn and will use her services again!”
“We have used Elizabeth a few times and are so grateful to have found a Rover (and her family) that are so great with our two dogs, Harry and Jules! Highly recommend Elizabeth if you’re looking for someone to take extra special care of your best buddies!”

“This was my dog Hank's 2nd stay with Sydney. She took good care of him, including tending to his paws when they were irritated by the salt on the walkways, and her communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this sitter.”

“Dash had a wonderful week long stay at Renata’s home. Plenty of exercise and outdoor time on their beautiful property on the lake. Would absolutely trust to take care of our dog again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Laura went above and beyond to make sure our first time leaving our puppy went smoothly. From thorough communication before the booking, to updates during our vacation, it was such a relief to know that he was in good hands (and also having fun too)! If we travel again and need dog care, I will definitely be checking Laura's availability; I'm so glad I found her!”

About: I have three cats of my own, one of which was aggressive and only approved for a single-cat home that has been nurtured and loved into being a cuddle bug who is a proud older brother to two younger siblings. As a vet tech, I have dealt with very opinionated cats and do my best to accommodate to any cats who are challenging.
“Carley, thank you for your excellent care of our two kitties, keeping up with our big boy's meds, getting our shy girl to come out and enjoy time with you, giving them loving attention, and managing their food/water/litter. Much appreciated & will contact again when we need coverage. Thank you!”

“Orion and Alex were very kind and professional when I reached out about drop-in visits with Collins. I had never worked with a pet sitter before, and they were very gracious about all of my questions and the detailed instructions I left. Orion provided updates and pictures for me each time he and Alex visited my apartment, and they took the time to try and socialize with my sweet, yet somewhat, standoffish cat. I definitely plan to book time with Orion and Alex again!”

“Shannon has taken care of my cat twice and will be watching her again this coming August. I highly recommend Shannon-she’s reliable, friendly, trustworthy and just awesome to work with. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Shannon!!”

“This is Kourtney’s second time watching my cat Piper. She was wonderful!! She communicated with me the entire time and I had complete trust in her! She was extremely flexible with me. I had to extend my trip and she was able to work with me. Highly recommend hiring her for your fur babies!”

“Ana was awesome!!!! She sent me multiple pictures of my cats throughout my vacation. She was very attentive to them and made sure my special needs cat took his medicine. She was very patient with his antics and made sure he ate his food and was comfortable. She even sent a few videos of them happily purring which was unexpected as they typically avoid strangers. I highly recommend her and would feel safe leaving my cats in her care again.”

“Very smooth and easy short notice planned booking. Jessie was very easy going and willing to ensure everything was as I left it. My dog is 13 and I didn’t want to board her. Jessie took very good care of my dog and 2 rabbits. Will definitely be using her services again!”

“As a newcomer to Connecticut, I needed a dog sitter on short notice and was initially anxious about leaving my dog, Gingi. However, Jessica exceeded all my expectations. She demonstrated exceptional professionalism and kindness, providing regular updates without any prompting. Receiving photos of Gingi during my lunch breaks reassured me that he was well cared for and enjoying himself. Additionally, Gingi always smelled wonderful when I picked him up. I will definitely continue to book with her in the future. Highly recommended—10/10”

“Kayla was amazing with my dog! Each time I picked him up, he was happy, and clearly well cared for. She took amazing care of my pet even though he has a broken leg and has restrictions. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. Her services are absolutely worth every penny.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience with both training and senior care. I trained my own dog, who is now 12 years old, and I currently care for him as he experiences arthritis. This has taught me how to recognize signs of discomfort, adjust activity levels, and provide daily massages to keep him comfortable. I understand that not every dog needs long walks, and I prioritize each pet’s individual needs, safety, and well-being. I’m currently a senior in college, which gives me a bit more flexibility in my schedule, and I truly enjoy spending that time caring for pets. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I’m able to plan my days around pets and give them the attention and consistency they need. I live in an off-campus house with a front yard that does not open onto a busy street, which helps provide a safe and calm environment for pets. The house is spacious, allowing pets to move around comfortably and have their own space to relax. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I’m very attentive and focused on making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. I take time to build trust, follow routines closely, and make sure pets feel safe and happy in my presence.
“Our Roo had a wonderful time. We picked him up and he was a very happy and tired boy. Suzanne has a great fenced back yard that is perfect for dogs. She’s very responsive and we so appreciated her taking Roo on fairly short notice. Thank you Suzanne.”

“I highly recommend Shelby! She provided top-notch care for Kuma and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy. Communication was excellent and I was updated regularly with pictures and updates. I felt confident leaving my dog in their capable hands and will definitely be using their services again in the future. 5 stars!”
“My girls absolutely love going to Rebecca’s! And I love that they get it all with her. I got to see them enjoying their day while I was at work, then they were too tired to try to jump on me when I walked through the door. Perfection again!”
“Carolina was amazing with our dog! When we picked him up, he was happy, calm, and exhausted—which tells me he got plenty of attention, playtime, and care. Communication was great and we felt very comfortable the entire time. We’ll definitely be using her again. Thank you!”

About: Hi everyone! I am an animal fanatic (dogs>people) with an energetic and outgoing personality. I strive to provide the best possible care and have no problem with special requests or schedules! I'll run, walk, play, throw to your dogs content and my own. I've been caring for animals big and small since I was a wee kiddo, have vet experience inherited from my dad who owns his own practice, and overall a soft spot for all things furry. I have a cattle dog mix pupper who is a social butterfly and a bengal that acts more like a dog than a cat. He gets along GREAT with all animals he's been introduced to, just check out the photos! Put yourself at ease knowing that your pooch will be properly attended to at your own convenience! I am currently working part time as a nanny and am looking to expand my passion for animals into a full time career. I previously ran a small dog walking business in Boston and am hoping to do the same here in my home state of CT! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to play with! If your dog is not friendly with others I do have a separate space for my pups if needed.
“I came into the area for the day and Elizabeth was so wonderful to watch my dog Daisy. She has such a lovely home and family. I would absolutely 💯% recommend Elizabeth. Daisy had a great day in her care!”

About: I currently own two dogs a mini Australian Shepard and a cocker spaniel. But, my family is a huge dog loving family and I have also owned labs, retrievers, and collies. All other days I would love to take the dogs hiking and make sure they have a great time! I do own two dogs that are very friendly. But they can also be seperated into my basement if other dog is not friends with them. I also have a lot of experience with cat sitting my neighbors cats.
About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and some friendly neighborhood chickens. I love them all! I’ve been walking dogs since I was a freshman in high school and I don’t think i’ll ever get tired of it! I have a very flexible schedule since I only have a part time job, and I take quite a bit of work from this app :) I love taking walks, so I provide anywhere from two to four potty breaks or trips outside throughout the day. I also enjoy hiking and I like to bring pups with a bit more energy to tag along. I’m more than happy to stay in your home with your pets if discussed and my main concern is that your pets are happy, safe, and just like you left them.
“We’ve been looking for an alternative to commercial daycare because our dog used to come home completely exhausted. With Janelle, we picked him up happy and relaxed, and I know he’d been well cared for all day, which made such a difference! She was very communicative and friendly, and we’d happily book with her again.”

About: I am an animal lover through and through! I’ve been taking care of many different types of dogs and cats since as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats, and I am more than willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal in particular. When I come to care for, play with, and walk your pet, I will dedicate my time to truly loving them. I have experience staying at owners houses to take exceptional full-time care of their pets, and I also have experience keeping pets in my home! While dropping in to care for your pets, I will of course be incredibly respectful of your space, going only in the rooms I am allowed and touching only the items needed to care for your animals :) To care for animals in my own apartment, I have made sure that potentially hazardous items (small items, food, plants, etc.) are all put away/placed at a height that dogs and cats cannot reach. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

About: I have taken care of many different kinds of dogs and cats my whole life. In my neighborhood I am the trusted pet sitter and pet walker! I do my best to make sure the pets do not get into anything that could cause them harm.

I’ve cared for mostly medium and large dogs, but I truly love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. About: Hi, I’m Rae! I’m a pet-obsessed U.S. Navy veteran, professional dog groomer by trade, and lifelong animal person with hands-on experience caring for animals of all types, sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Growing up, I had all kinds of animals to learn from, from small pets to much larger ones. Working professionally with dogs has taught me patience, how to read body language, recognize when a dog is stressed or uncomfortable, and adjust my approach to help them feel safe. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, nervous dogs, high-energy breeds, and multi-pet households. At home, I have an Australian Shepherd, a Miniature Schnauzer, and three cats of my own — and I would absolutely have more if I didn’t have a husband to keep me in check. Each of my pets has their own unique quirks and I’m very familiar with managing different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I’ll treat your pets the way I’d want someone to treat mine: with patience, attention, lots of love, and plenty of updates for you! work as a professional dog groomer, so pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine. My schedule varies throughout the week, which gives me flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. When I’m caring for your pet, I’ll make sure their normal feeding, potty, exercise, medication, and bedtime routines are kept as consistent as possible. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who need a little more structure, extra exercise, or simply more one-on-one attention. Safety is always my first priority. As a professional groomer, I’m very comfortable reading animal body language and recognizing when a pet is nervous, overwhelmed, or needs space. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard as well as resident dogs and cats, so introductions and interactions are handled carefully rather than assuming every animal will immediately be best friends. Pets can be separated for meals, downtime, or whenever needed, and I’m comfortable using crates or pens when that is already part of their routine. In a client’s home, I’ll follow your normal routine and house rules as closely as possible so your pet can stay comfortable in their own environment.

“Absolute peace of mind. Leaving older dogs can be stressful, but Elisa made it completely worry-free. She took incredible care of our two dogs and treated them like family. She paid close attention to their medications, supplements, meals and senior routine. We received daily updates and photos. We highly recommend Elisa and will absolutely book her again!”

“Peabody is always so happy to see Christle and her family. I can tell he misses them when he leaves too. Whenever Christle dog sits him, he seems very content and happy after. On top of this, Christle is always very communicative, thoughtful, and kind! She is a very trustful person and we will continue to work with her!”

“Torie was great with our two morkies, one of which has PLE and has some intense dietary restrictions. She was very communicative and quick to respond during the stay! Thank you Torie!”
