“I had a family wedding to go to and wanted to find a safe and comfortable place to leave Winston, my young dorgi (half dachshund, half corgi) who had never been away from me since I was lucky enough to get him. Laura and her family turned out to be the perfect people and place. With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

About: I have always loved dogs. I have one dog at the moment and dog sitting fulfills my need for a second dog. I recently lost my first dog, Peekaboo the Cockapoo, and have been heart broken ever since. I do have an amazing dog Moose (3y/o 40# all American brown dog mix) and I don’t want her to ever feel lonely so hosting dogs or going to walk other dogs has been a great way for her to get personalized one on one attention! I love my dogs so much they bring me so much joy we love to take walks around my beautiful neighborhood 3 to 4 times a day we have space to play and beds to lay on and take naps in the sun, we look forward to getting the chance to meet you all soon ! I work full-time from home with a digital marketing career. I am able to monitor my animals all day. Every day we go for 3 to 4 walks around my mile and a quarter neighborhood block. I typically know that if an animal is out of sight, then they must be getting into some thing so if I see that they don’t want to be near me, we go for a walk I’m always available for a pet or a cuddle in between my business calls. About: I've lived with and taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. Starting off in apartments where they needed to be walked. I've had my own dogs for the past 16 years. From puppies to seniors on daily medications, I've taken care of it all with my own doggos. We recently lost our doggy siblings, Tegan and Sara in May and July 2022 at 15.5 years old. We currently have a 6 month old rescue named Oswald. I love all dogs! I do not breed discriminate! I live on 3/4 of an acre with a 5' chain link fence surrounding the back yard. I also work from home, so I'm always here. With your permission, I may even take your pups on adventures while in my care! We do have a cat, but she owns the 2nd floor of our house (2 spare bedrooms), so it will not affect your pups stay as we will stay on the first floor. I work from home 9-5:30 M-F. Your baby will get to go out whenever needed in my fenced yard and I will give them love in small breaks during my own work day. They will not spend their days in a crate as I am here to keep an eye on them. I have a fenced yard. I do have a very dog and person friendly pup of my own who will be happy to play with your pup, too, as his favorite place is the dog park. We have few stairs that need to be climbed, 1-3 off our deck (we have a few entrances on the deck) that can be adjusted by closing deck doors as needed for seniors.

I previously owned a male Boxer, and I currently have a Boston Terrier, so I understand the importance of providing dogs with attention, exercise, structure, and lots of affection. About: My first experience was 5 y.o when I was selected to help train Fidelco search and rescue dogs. From then on, my whole life has been surrounded by animals of all sorts. From going to UCONN for large animal science, to always being the designated pet sitter for friends and family, to now- still doing that, running my own hypoallergenic cattery & working a couple horse barns! About: I have had dogs for my whole life, and I currently have one of my own, so I have plenty experience caring for everyone's favorite friends, doing every day tasks, such as feeding and walking, but also administering medication and supplements if needed. I am currently attending graduate school with classes in the afternoon, but I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings/early afternoons and the entire weekend. My free-time on Mondays and Fridays is limited, but I will do my best to fulfill all requests. I have extra leashes and doggy bags to be ready for any situations on a walk! About: Hi all! My name is Madison and I have many years of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I grew up with dog loving parents and we had two dogs I grew up with. They both crossed the rainbow bridge and it took years for us to recover. After 6 years without a dog, my mom adopted a German Shepherd who I often dog sit when my mom is away. I currently have my own 10 month old Corgi who is full of energy and two sweet cats. On my free time I also volunteer for Protectors of Animals and do the walking shift with the dogs in the shelter.
