We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was born with my first Golden Retriever “Missy”. My family has had a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats, to hamsters and bunnies, all the way to horses. I am often called on by my fiends to pet sit as I am known as the friend with a surplus of pets. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. I also have cared for cats throughout my whole life. Fostering kittens, feeding them, cutting and administering pills for my disordered baby! Additionally brushing my animals, playing with them, and knowing when to give them space. I love my animals and have spent my life ensuring their care!!

About: Since I was 5, I have always had pet dogs and was independently caring for them since high school. I have had dogs weighing 6 lbs through 90 lbs, including my current dogs, a rescued pit bull, rescued puggle, and rescued Great Pyrenees mix. I have been caring not only for my own dogs but friends and neighbors dogs as well. I am a teacher on summer break and would love to spend my time playing with pups! I am more than willing to go see dogs where they are most comfortable, or I will take them into my house! All of my dogs get along with other dogs, go to doggy daycare and love snuggles and playtime. I have no predetermined views about specific breeds; if they have fur, a tail, and paws I tend to love them! I also have experience taking care of other animals, like cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
About: I treat every pet as if they were my own. I take time to learn their routine, personality, and what makes them comfortable. I’m very dependable and I know how important communication is, I’m happy to send photo updates during visits so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’ve had animals in my life since I was five years old and have cared for a wide variety of pets over the years. I’ve always had my own dogs and cats. I’m very comfortable with different personalities and care routines. In my thirties I also worked with dog rescues, helping care for and support dogs in transition. While I stepped back from rescue work when my daughter was young, my love of animals has always remained a big part of my life. Because of this background, I’m very patient and attentive and understand that every pet has their own temperament and needs. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Because I keep my schedule manageable, I’m able to be reliable and consistent with visits, walks, feeding times, and playtime. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure each pet gets individual attention and care. I’m happy to work with owners to accommodate their pet’s normal routine and can often be flexible with scheduling when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel secure and cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both your pet’s routine and your home. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I closely supervise pets to keep them safe. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and energy levels and will contact you right away if anything seems unusual. I’m happy to follow any detailed instructions you provide—feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, or special care. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. Having had animals my entire life and experience working with rescues, I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for a beloved pet.
About: I have had all sorts of pets since I was a kid from bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters to dogs and cats. I have a dog of my own. She is a sharp-eagle. She is about 2 years old and loves all dogs. I would love to bring her along with me to go on walks etc at your approval. I am currently a nanny part time and a part time student at SCSU. I would have plenty of time to care for your furry friend on the weekends. I care for your pets in your home and will follow any directions for caring for your furry friend. Whether its feeding and or playing or walking I am there to care for your pet in the time of need.
