“Our son was getting married in upstate NY so we needed a sitter for our dog Kai while we were away. We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. She gave us peace of mind that Kai was well loved and cared for so we were able to enjoy the wedding without any worries. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

About: I have over 150 years of animal care with my past pets. My prior home was a farm where I cared for a multitude of animals. All of my past pets were long-lived and very well cared for. Having two to three dogs at a time over the years afforded them time to play together while I worked. Now that I am retired and no longer have animals, I hope to offer my skills to those who need a good, responsible sitter for their pets. Caring for your pet fills the void of not having animals anymore. My animals, which varied from cats, dogs, horses, a donkey, and poultry, among a few exotics have given me the experience of training and learning how to care for pets. The backyard is fenced in with a 5' high chain-link fence. Opportunity awaits your pet for lots of love, exercise, and some training if needed. Please note anything over a 24 hour overnight will require a day care add-on. Your pet will be cared for per your instructions. A meet and greet determines what can and cannot be done. I am home most of the time and have provisions to keep your pet safe if I need to run out for a couple of errands. Preferable care is done in my home. While your dog is in my care he/she will be treated as part of my family and share my home with me.

I am currently working full time, I work a 5 on 2 off, 5 on 3 off schedule (evening hours) so my days off change every week. I have a lot of free time in the mornings before work and on my days off. On my days off I am available all hours! I can provide walks around the lake, nearby neighborhoods, dog parks,and hiking trails. I am open to feeding pets, letting them out to use the potty, and play time!

During those times, I’m have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for walks, drop ins, or longer visits. I’m naturally nurturing and attentive to every pets needs-whether it’s making sure they’re fed on time, responding to cues when they need to go out, or simply giving them affection and companionship. I stay aware of each dogs body language and behavior to ensure they feel safe, secure, and cared for at all times. About: I’ve loved animals my whole life, coming home to my cats and dog everyday is my favorite part of my day. I would love to watch your fur babies! I have a very flexible schedule and am available most of the week/weekend! I’m pretty much able to come help whenever you need it ! About: I love to bring dogs swimming (if they love the water). Ill bring them on long walks, or runs. I am avaiable in the mornings for dog walking. I have been house sitting for my aunt and her dog for about 5 years now. I make sure that I am there for the anything that the dogs needs. Feeding on time, bringing them out for bathroom breaks, and making sure they get enough exercise. Over the years, I have owned a small range of dogs, from a Miniature Pincher to three Great Danes at a time. I have experience taking care of Labs, Golden Retrievers, German Sheppards, Rottweilers, and many more. I absolutely adore all animals but especially dogs, I am currently going to school to become a veterinarian.
About: I've had three dogs and one cat in my life! The best parts of my days are spent throwing the ball or going for walks with my pups! About: I have always had a passion for animals and wildlife. As an experienced former veterinary technician with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont, I stayed true to passion throughout my career. Twice a week I volunteer in the animal clinic at NEAS, the local animal shelter. During the spring, summer and fall I work on the beach as a Conservation Biologist. My love of animals and especially dogs started when I was very little, and continued through my adult life, until I finally got my own little love. Having a high energy German Shepherd means I am used to breeds of all sizes and exercise requirements. My dog and I live a very active lifestyle, with frequent runs, walks and trips to the woods and beach. Even though we live in an apartment, we still make time to stretch our legs! I hope I can help you do the same for your dog. I provide walking services, house visits and medication or fluid administration if needed as part of the pets daily regiment. I am able to walk your dog during the week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (anytime from 9-5) for 30min-1hr (whatever is best for your pet!). Cuddles, kisses and hugs are free of charge! I get just as much joy out of it as your dog does.
