“Saori was such a great sitter for our pups (1 year old great pyrenees). She took them to the dog park in the morning for a couple of hours, helped continue our invisibile fence training, and sent us so many pics and updates throughout the weekend. I could tell how happy and comfortable our dogs were in her home and under her care. They came home so tired because they had so much fun with her and the other dogs!”

“Jessica and Ian did an amazing job taking care of my pup during my wedding weekend! She has never napped so hard when we brought her home! Will definitely use them in the future of all of my dogs pet sitting needs!”

They were attentive to his needs, sent photos everyday, were super responsive and patient, and allowed me to show them how to administer the medicine. Both of us felt right at home, lol! We’ll be back thank you so much!!”

“Terri was a fantastic cat sitter! My husband and I went away for 2 weeks, and Terri made us feel so safe to leave our cats in her care. She sent us daily updates about the cats and made sure they weren't feeling too stressed while we were away. She even made sure to visit during a snowstorm! I would absolutely book Terri again in the future to look after our cats.”

About: Hi, I'm Alessandra! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I cared for everything from turtles, a bird, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits to two Golden Retrievers. Today, I have a cat and Golden Retriever of my own, so I know firsthand just how much our pets are a part of the family. As a Rover-user myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust to care for your pet. I also know that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m always happy to tailor my care accordingly. I work remotely and am based in Newtown, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule for house sitting and/or walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I’m reliable, communicative, and mindful of the little things that make a big difference - following your routine and care instructions, respecting your home, keeping your pet comfortable & happy, and sending plenty of updates along the way. My goal is to make sure you feel just as comfortable with me caring for your pet as I’d want to feel with someone caring for mine! I’d love to meet you and your pet(s) — let’s chat and see if it’s a good fit! — Alessandra 🐾
“Rachel was great checking in on our 2 cats while we were away. Our request was somewhat last minute and she was very responsive and easy to communicate with. My husband and I were both immediately comfortable with Rachel at our in person visit. We came home to happy kittens and clean litter boxes. We will definitely rebook with Rachel again in the future!”

About: Im comfortable working with friendly dogs of different ages, including puppies who need extra attention and older dogs who may need a slower, more gentle approach. Plus, my dog is very friendly and enjoys the company, which can help other dogs feel more comfortable and social. I've always loved being around animals, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. Whether it's walks, sticking to their normal routine, I'll treat your pet with the same love and attention I'd give my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I'll keep you updated with messages and photos while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for every step of the way. I care for pets in both my home and my client’s home, depending on the service. I make sure they have a safe, clean space, follow their feeding and walking routines, and give them plenty of attention. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep their pet comfortable and cared for.

“Saori watched our two dogs in her house and paid home visits to our two cats. Unfortunately, a couple of days into the booking, our dogs started having diarrhea and the female was vomiting. We requested that Saori take them to our vet. Luckily, testing revealed nothing serious, Saori gave the dogs their meds, and they recuperated after fluids at the vet. They got to swim in her pool, went to the dog park, and other adventures. Saori also got the thankless task of cleaning up a mouse carcass that Vinny left, as well as some piles of vomit. Saori went above and beyond when caring for our pets. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her in the future.”

About: Hi! I'm Rachel and I'd love to care for your pet! Willing to accept outside of my service range (rate changes may apply). I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember - basically, if it has fur, fins, wings, or whiskers, I'm a fan. I've proudly been a cat mom since 2010 and my 3 current babies are my whole world (and let's be real, my personality too). Since 2023, I've been volunteering with cats and small animals at a local shelter (affectionately known there as "Cat Rachel"), working with cats of all different temperaments -from shy wallflowers, snuggly lovebugs, fur divas, and the “don’t-look-at-me” types. I've also been pet-sitting on and off since 2010 including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, and tropical fish. If your trust your pet with me, I will: - treat them like they're part of my own fur-family - be patient while they warm up to me (I let them set the vibe) - follow your instructions and respect your home - give them dedicated quality time in the way they enjoy (whether that be play-time, cuddling, walks, quiet companionship, etc. - send regular updates and photos Basically, if your pet needs love, snacks, or someone to treat them like the tiny celebrity they are, I’ve got it covered. For full transparency I am a full-time working professional. I work in the Ridgefield area 4 days a week with Fridays as my work-from-home day. I'm really mindful about my schedule and only take on visits I can give my full attention to. While cats are definitely my specialty these days, I’m always happy to consider other animals too!

“Caroline is an excellent pet sitter! She’s reliable, kind, and sends lots of pictures/videos. It’s so nice to have piece of mind that my babies are taken care of while I’m away ❤️”

“My sitter Madalys did a great job. She sent pictures everyday with an update on my sweet kitty Chloe. Madalys responded quickly to my texts. And was very kind and loving so my rating of Madalys is PURRFECT”

“We've had a wonderful experience with Valerie; she is sweet and very attentive to us and our puppy. Her home is very welcoming to pets. She sends photos and videos throughout the day, and we see what a great time our Lily is having with her dog Henry. Looking forward to another stay.”

About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation. My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.
“Rachel was amazing with our deaf pup, Hazel! She was so communicative and made us feel comfortable. Hazel had a wonderful time at daycare! Would recommend Rachel to everyone!”

“Bruno had an amazing time! He got to sunbathe, go on a walk, and clearly enjoyed himself all day. I was really nervous at first, but they sent me pictures throughout the day, which completely eased my fears. It meant so much to see how happy and comfortable he was. Thank you so much for taking such great care of him—highly recommended!!”

“Fergus our 1 year old had a wonderful time at Kyle's. He played all day and was very comfortable there. We will definitely book again and build up some overnights. Its a great relief to have found a safe place and a caring dog lover to watch him.”

About: I am a life long dog lover with many years of experience taking care of dogs as well as fostering dogs in need! I believe boarding should feel less like a kennel and more like your dog is staying with family. That's why I keep my boarding groups small, so every dog gets plenty of individual attention, affection, playtime, and space to relax. Your dog becomes part of the household while they're here not just another dog on the schedule. Dogs are welcome to make themselves completely at home. They can curl up on the couch, nap on the bed, play with friends, or find a quiet place to relax when they've had enough excitement. And when they're ready for an adventure, there's plenty of that too! A typical stay can include walks, outdoor play, trips around town, dog park adventures when appropriate, and lots of one on one attention. My goal is simple, when you go on vacation, your dog gets a vacation too! Dog sitting is my full time focus, which means your dog isn't being squeezed into my schedule they're part of it! Being home and available throughout the day allows me to give each dog plenty of attention, playtime, outdoor breaks, walks, and, of course, plenty of time to relax and make themselves at home. When your dog stays with me, caring for them isn't something I do around my day, it's my day! 🐶❤️ Fewer dogs means more individual attention, easier supervision, more personalized care, and a calmer home environment. It also allows me to get to know each dog's personality and routine instead of treating every stay the same. Whether your dog wants to spend the afternoon playing with friends, following me around the house, exploring outside, or snoozing on the couch, I want them to feel comfortable being themselves.
About: I am an animal lover here to help! I grew up with animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I also owned ducks and chickens for several the years. I have many years experience with a variety of medical issues pertaining to dogs and cats, including allergies and epilepsy. I also have years of experience in dog and puppy training (not professionally), including adopting my own puppy 2 years ago. That same puppy is now approved and undergoing training to be a psychiatric service dog. My other 2 dogs are also well trained. Although we’re happy to take it easy, we also love to hike and would be happy to take your dog along! I work with animals full time and love it! My schedule changes based on the needs of my clients for that week, and I adjust as needed. My pets are my babies! I have a fenced in yard, with a dog door to access it. It does close, and can be kept closed during the day if needed as my dogs are extremely well trained, and also have the option to access to my home office (a separate building in the back yard) if needed. They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. One of our dogs had to retire from long walks and hikes, so he stays home now, but he still loves a good car ride and a short easy walk!
About: Dogs thrive on calm structure and that’s exactly what I provide. I create a controlled, low stress environment where dogs are calm, well managed, and set up for success. I’m a sitter with formal training in dog behavior, and I’m currently continuing my education through an accredited, science based training program. My approach goes beyond basic pet sitting, I focus on structure, clear boundaries, and reading behavior to prevent issues before they start. I specialize in dogs that need structure and guidance, whether that’s anxious dogs, easily overstimulated dogs, or dogs adjusting to a new environment. My focus is helping dogs stay calm, regulated, and comfortable, not just physically tired. Every dog is handled intentionally and with clear structure, not as part of a chaotic group setting. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes part of my routine. Meals, walks, rest, enrichment, and any training cues you already use are followed as consistently as possible. I keep things structured and predictable so dogs, especially anxious, reactive, or easily overstimulated ones, can settle in and feel secure. My home is structured, supervised, and calm, not a chaotic group setup or a free for all. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully, given clear boundaries, and supported with a predictable routine so they feel safe and secure. I tailor the environment to each dog, including decompression time, quiet space, and supervised social time only when appropriate. My focus is always on behavior, safety, and preventing overstimulation or unsafe situations. My approach is best suited for dogs who can follow structure and benefit from a calm, well-managed environment. I am not a good fit for dogs that rely on constant high energy group play or a completely unstructured routine.

“Excellent sitter! My 4 month old puppy had a blast and Isabel was super about sending multiple pictures throughout the day. Awesome environment and home for a doggy day care. Definitely recommend.”
“This was our first time dropping our puppy off away from home for daycare. Hazard and his wife Zoey did a wonderful job taking care of him. They followed our instructions and sent us lots of photos and videos through out the entire day. We loved that our puppy got to stay with such a loving family and make lots of new friends! We look forward to working with them again.”

“Kara was great! She was super flexible and willing to watch Shadow with what I believed was a last minute request! I would definitely recommend to anyone if you’re looking for a sweet and personable dog sitter!”

“Nicole is not only knowledgeable but you can feel how she loves taking care of animals! I appreciate so much the care she has provided and will using her again! Thank you 🙏🏻”

“Catarina did a wonderful job taking care of our puppy for the day. Lucky had a great time with her and Addison. Defiantly will go with Catarina again! We recommend her for sure!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who can’t imagine life without dogs. My family has two dogs that I grew up with, and they’ve been such a huge part of my life. Over the past 8 years, I’ve cared for cats and dogs, both large and small breeds, giving me experience with a wide variety of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I truly believe dogs are one of the best things on earth. Their love, cuteness and personalities make every day better. While I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to where I live, caring for other people’s dogs gives me the opportunity to share that love and spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a caring companion around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry baby and treat them like one of my own! 🐾❤️ I have a very flexible schedule everyday. I have weekend, mornings, midday and nights available, so anytime you need I’ll be available. Week long pet sitting is also available. I have experience with large and small dogs both needing a crate and not. I love going on long walks, so if your baby needs a long engaging walk I am your person! I have experience with feeding wet and dry food, as well as giving liquid and pill medication!

About: I've loved to cat and dog sit for my neighbors, friends, and extended family since I was young. I'm sensitive to different pets' needs and have always had a way of connecting with more timid and distrustful animals. I also have over 10 years of experience caring for and working with horses, so I'm comfortable with handling larger animals. I’m super outdoorsy so I’m always happy to take your pets out on a hike or little adventure. I used to take my aunt’s dog out to hike, camp, and swim in rivers! I’ve just graduated from college, so I have a completely open schedule! I’ll be able to go on walks multiple times a day, hang out and play in the house, and give them all the attention they need. I won’t be having your pets stay in my house, but I’m comfortable coming into your living space and accommodating your pets in their home environment. I can stay overnight in my own house or yours, whatever’s easiest!
“Taylor has been wonderful with Moose. I am very happy having Taylor take care of him. She does a great job of communicating when she arrives, during her time with him, and after she leaves. I highly recommend Taylor walking and caring for your pet.”

“Cathy was absolutely amazing! She was punctual and great with my babies! Every day I got updates and pictures and the dogs adored her! Can’t wait to book with her again.”

About: I have been called Dr. Dolittle my entire life. I have a knack for connecting with animals of all kinds. My very first job was working at a local farm with all different types of animals like horses, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. It was one of my favorite jobs, I got lucky! I also worked at a dog boarding facility which gave me experience working with multiple dogs at once. I always give animals the space to have their specific personality and the respect they deserve, as I would treat a human. Animals are often misunderstood, I’ve always tried to meet them where they stand. If there is one thing I am confident in, it’s making an animal feel safe and comfortable. And they do the same for me :) I would love to meet your faithful friend! I currently work a very flexible part-time job and am pet-sitting most days as well. I am more than willing to work with your schedule. Working with animals is more than a job to me, I very much enjoy it. I will find ways to work with you and your pets personal needs. I love to schedule a meet-up before providing pet care. This is just to see that we are all on the same page and everyone feels it's a good fit. I do not offer services at my home. I will travel to your home so your pet can be where they are most comfortable. I work around you and your pets comfort. As a pet owner myself, I understand it can be hard to leave your companions in someone else’s care. I want to do what it takes to make you feel 100% safe and at ease when leaving your furbabies in my care.

About: Hi, I’m Steph and I am a senior Veterinary Nursing major currently working in practice at as vet assistant in Shelton. Most of our classes have hands-on training and scenarios which translate into real world veterinary skills. I have been in the field for about 6 years now, I started volunteering at a local SPCA and immediately fell in love and knew that I wanted to work with animals forever! During my time as a vet nursing student I have completed courses such as Animal Disease & Nutrition, Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, Parasitology, Radiology, Surgical Nursing and more! I have been able to worked in multiple animal care environments including veterinary hospitals, daycares, and shelters. Caring for animals and being able to help and care for them when other people can’t is truly my passion and what keeps me going in my field of work! All bookings can easily fit around my school schedule. Right now I am only taking a couple courses, so I am very flexible! I prefer to not stay at a clients home full time for days in a row, however again I can be flexible with the circumstances :) I live in an apartment complex that is animal friendly, I am a little OCD so my place is kept pretty tidy. I have a terrier/mix Cooper and a cat Reid who free roam the apartment at all times we have never had to crate either of them, but can if necessary(Also can separate cat if your pet isn’t cat friendly). Both are fed and cooper is walked relatively at the same times everyday, and are up to date on their exams & vaccinations (paperwork available). In other clients home I make it my priority to respect the wishes of the client. I understand everyone has their own way of doings things and that’s completely okay! I always keep my front door locked at home so I am very good at remembering to lock up after I leave.

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“Our second time leaving our dog with Elizabeth and everything went so smooth. It is a great comfort knowing he is being taken such good care of. We will be leaving him again soon! Thank you Elizabeth!”

“Cassandra & Nolan took excellent care of my Rosie girl while I was on a day trip to NYC. Frequent walks, cuddles, playtime, and plenty of photo updates. She enjoyed taking part in their holiday celebration! I will definitely book them again next time I'm in CT.”

“The whole experience with Kyle was great ! We had never really left our dog before and right away Kyle put our minds at ease . From the meet and greet on through he made everything easy and comfortable. He is professional and kind and seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with our dog . He kept us updated during our time away so we can enjoy ourselves and feel confident that our furry relative was being well taken care of . When I picked Kaya up she seemed happy and well adjusted .We can’t thank Kyle enough for taking excellent of our family member! ! We would book again ?”

“First thing- Meghan was great! Finn states with her fior 4 nights and I couldn’t have asked for more out of a sitter. She communicated well with us during his stay and is overall a very kind, responsible sitter. I will (and I’m sure Finn) be looking forward to booking with her in the future!”
“Dan and his parents did an excellent job caring for Jessie, our 7 year old Golden Retriever. After meeting them, we felt confident that we could trust them to keep her safe and care for her properly. They went out of their way to make sure Jessie felt at home and treated her like one of the family. She enjoyed long walks and lots of cuddle time! I like that they only board one dog at a time so they were able to give her their undivided attention. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in their loving and competent care. Jessie came home happy and relaxed and we would love to use them again!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up in a family that always had dogs. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. We currently have Bailey, our sweet and gentle Bernese Mountain Dog, as well as a Ragdoll cat, Jades who is also very much part of our family. I love spending time with animals, whether it’s going for walks, visiting the dog park, playing outside, or simply giving them plenty of attention and affection at home. I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes and personalities and generally connect with them very easily. Our pets are treated like family, and I would care for your pet with the same patience, attention, and kindness I give my own. I work from home most days, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pet throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention and companionship. I’m also available on weekends and can be flexible based on your pet’s normal routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. We have a gentle and friendly Bernese Mountain Dog named Bailey and a Ragdoll cat at home, and our pets are truly part of our family. I always take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, feeding schedule, and individual needs. I provide plenty of supervision, attention, walks, playtime, and a loving, comfortable environment so your pet can feel at home while in my care.
“This is our second time to book the service from Jieun. They were very nice and friendly. They sent us many pictures and videos. Miaomiao likes them and Ollie very much! I would recommend for everyone to let them take care of your pets.”

“Kara was amazing!! Going through a lot and I needed someone to take care of my two cats. She took them last minute and was so caring from the get go! One of my cats is very shy and he felt at home right away! I ended up extending the time because of my current situation. Will use her again!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
