“Lovenda watched my two-year-old mix breed dog Georgina for eight days. I felt confident leaving Georgie because Lovenda’s house was very clean with a fenced in backyard. Happily, Lovenda went above and beyond the excepted Rover duties to care for my pup. She took Georgie and her own dog Diesel swimming at the reservoir, hiking at Rye, and to play at the dog park. Diesel and Georgie became fast friends. Lovenda sent me regular updates with pictures and communicated promptly about pick up and drop off. I grew up with a dog named Bandit who I dog sit for now even though I do not live at home anymore. I also love puppies! I have been dog sitting for my moms puppy as well! About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 12, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even rats. However, I didn’t start taking care of the pets of others until I was 15. About: We had two cats growing up, one who made it to 20 years - how lucky! I always helped with cleaning litter boxes, that one's a given. But the true care started when our obese cat has constantly having hairball and kidney issues, so lots of messes and patience. We helped him loose some weight with more play and food motivated exercise. We also had a 'spicy' kitty who was a good practice in reading cat behavior and discipline. Now, I work with many different cats at the kennel, and it's really about moving slow and letting them come to you. I've had to pill some cats for medications, and I'll admit I hate to put them through that stress, but am totally willing to do so if needed.

I pay attention to subtle changes in the dogs behavior and adjust what is needed to ensure their safety and comfort. The days I have available are because I work full-time Tuesday through Friday and I do not have a set clock out time as it varies day by day. My off/free days are flexible, and any scheduled time is devoted to your pup. When I get to watch your dog at your home, I will follow the rules you have laid out. My goal will be to maintain the safe and calm environment you as the owner have set for the dog, but playing and horsing around as able.

About: I grew up around animals. I love both cats and dogs. I have a kitten at the moment who is energy-filled but very well behaved. I grew up with a dog named Bandit who I dog sit for now even though I do not live at home anymore. I also love puppies! I have been dog sitting for my moms puppy as well! I am pretty openly available at the moment for any of your needs! I can make any day and time work given enough time to prepare! I currently am home full time! I think pet care is different from person to person. I have my own system with my kitten, so I want to follow whatever system you have for your pets! It is best to keep them on the same schedule!
