“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets my entire life, from volunteering at animal shelters to eventually managing one, I have such a passion for animal wellness. If you are visiting Boulder and need day care for your dog while you take on a challenging hike, attend an event, I’m your pets home-away-from-home. I can give meds to pets, care for any special needs they have and work with high energy or “difficult” pets. I love them all, from hyper mouthy puppies to needy seniors! Our backyard is a 1/2 acre completely privacy fenced in so the pups will get plenty of exercise in addition to daily walks! I'm also an avid runner and am happy to accommodate daily runs if needed. I’m currently a part-time data scientist exploring new employment opportunities with an incredible passion for pets. About: I am a total animal person :) I love all animals and especially dogs. I treat all dogs as if they were my own companion. I love to reward them with high quality treats and natural peanut butter. I grew up taking care of all types of animals. I had chinchillas, rabbits, dogs, hamsters, fish etc.. I have been training dogs for 28 years and have watched and read a lot of dog training videos and books. Lennon was a very diificult dog to train because she's incredibly smart, independent and not very food motivated. I understand how to deal with all types of personalities/ quirks and needs from my wide range of dogs I have cared for. I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.

About: I love and grew up with dogs...we have a very deep and loving connection. Friends always chuckle about how I can put a dog to sleep quickly...when I place my hands on them they relax nearly immediately. I'm a deeply present and observant person who picks up subtle cues and patterns as part of my default programming. Your beloved dog is in great hands with me and I always do my best to keep in alignment with the animal's training. And if you'd like, I can give your dog reiki sessions...that would be a joy! I work from home and make infrequent trips to town, so my schedule is quite flexible. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. When caring for a pet in my home or yours, your dog is my first priority and I abide by your instructions for feeding/play/bathroom. I stay observant to learn the way your animal communicates so to allow their nervous system to be as relaxed as possible, knowing they are being well-cared for. If your dog wants to snuggle or play, I make myself fully available for that (unless you have guidelines for how you'd like me to engage with them. I'll take your dog on walks around the property to go to the bathroom and for exercise (we live on a canyon-side). During the warmer season, we have a creek across the street and if you’d like I can take them on-leash down to play in the water.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, primarily caring for cats and dogs. My experience includes dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic routines, and cleaning litter boxes. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.

About: I love dogs (and cats!) of all personalities and especially love being active with them, such as going on hikes or jogs, playing fetch, or simply hanging out at the park. I love getting to know each animal's unique personality and learning what makes them them! I am available outside of the following hours: 2-4:30pm Monday-Friday, 5:30-7pm Mondays and Thursdays, and 4-6pm on Wednesdays. Other than these times, I am free to be booked! I have a large, fenced in yard with no other pets, which is great if your pet has trouble around other animals. I also live very close to North Boulder park! And when I am caring for your animal at your home, I am mindful of private spaces and boundaries, and I always make sure to entirely clean up after myself.

About: Hi there! All my life I have been an animal lover and for the last 8 years I have raised my own dog, and taken care of other dogs for families I used to babysit for. I can fit in any lifestyle your pet has, whether they are active or a stay-at-home. I can fit any accommodation as I work from home, love to exercise (so your dog would get plenty of it, if need be), and I'm incredibly flexible and will be normally free to help you more than not. At the same time, I raised my dog since she was a puppy so I do have experience with younger, more energetic dogs and overall I would simply love to help and treat your dogs like family. About: I am 18 and I graduated highschool may 2026. I have a lot of experience with dogs and other animals. When I was younger I participated in dog training 4-h where I would take my dog and train him surrounded by a lot of other dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycare where I would watch many dogs at once and keep them all calm, fed, and happy. I have four dogs of my own, two Dalmatians and two chiawawa mixes. So I have a lot of experience in handling all types of dog sizes and breeds. As for other animals, I have the most experience with fish and guinea pigs as I used to care for fish at my job and my little sister had a guinea pig so I know everything about how to care for one. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. About: I’ve been caring for pets my entire life, from volunteering at animal shelters to eventually managing one, I have such a passion for animal wellness. If you are visiting Boulder and need day care for your dog while you take on a challenging hike, attend an event, I’m your pets home-away-from-home. I can give meds to pets, care for any special needs they have and work with high energy or “difficult” pets. I love them all, from hyper mouthy puppies to needy seniors!
