“Michael is a very nice person who took in my 2 small dogs last minute while we were visiting Glenwood Springs for a family weekend getaway. My dogs were stressed out staying at a hotel and I needed to find a sitter fast. Michael greeted us outside of his very nice community located right near the Colorado river. He was very welcoming and patient and gave excellent care to my dogs. He followed all of my care instructions and my pups were happy and wagging when I picked them up. I would highly recommend him to watch your pets!”

“Kaitlin was fantastic! Very helpful, accommodating and timely with communication. She sent several photos of my dog while he was staying with her. Cannot thank you enough for caring for my dog, I know he was in good hands.”

“Suzanne lives in a beautiful mountain location with plenty of hiking paths nearby. I could tell Pepe felt relaxed during his stay and he hopes to visit again. I highly recommend Suzanne.”

“Kirsten helped watch my 4 month old puppy, Ajax, shortly after we relocated to Colorado from the Midwest. I had to get back for my cousin's wedding and had spent months stressing to even see if I could find someone that was willing to watch a puppy for a few days. Her communication was excellent and she and her family showed my puppy compassion and patience. She was even willing to work with me as I had to stay an extra night in Michigan due to some unforeseen circumstances. I was just about as anxious as my puppy leaving him for a few days and she made me feel at ease the entire time I was gone. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.”

“Paige did an excellent job watching our dog Mitzi. She asked tons of great questions at our initial meeting to ensure she understood Mitzi’s personality and habits, which made us feel really comfortable going dropping her off for a long weekend. She sent photos and updates every day which we really appreciated - we never felt out of the loop with how Mitzi was doing. We would definitely plan to have her watch Mitzi again in the future.”
“Jess was a great dog-sitter for us. This was our first time using Rover.com and we were very satisfied with the care and updates provided by Jess while on vacation. She is highly recommended.”

“Amy was professional and on time. They were highly attentive to my dog. I received consistent updates and photos. The communication kept me at ease. The entire boarding stay went smoothly.I highly recommend their services.”

“Lu and his family were absolutely fantastic. We were in Colorado visiting family and needed a Rover to look after our pups while we were there. I was a bit nervous leaving them with someone they hadn’t interacted with before, but I was quickly set at ease with the way Lu welcomed them into their home. I got tons of pictures and the dogs were happy as clams. I would recommend him highly for anyone looking for a sitter that treats your pets as his own. Thank you so much Lu!”
“Megan was wonderful to our dog, who is older and needs special attention. She sent lots of photos and updates to ease our minds while being away. We could tell when we picked him up, that he was well taken care of and content. I highly recommend her, and will definitely take our dog to her again when we're in her area.”

“Highly recommend! Finding someone on short notice was stressful, esp with a 13 yr old pup, but everything worked out with Stuart! Communication was clear from the start, as well as quick and reassuring. I could tell right away when I dropped Boone off that he was in good hands! So nice to have peace of mind for my old man!”

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate feeding times, walks, play sessions, potty breaks, and any special care instructions your pet may need. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, daily walks, or overnight care, I am committed to keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and following their usual routine as closely as possible. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I make sure they are in a clean, secure, and stress-free environment. I carefully follow each pet owner's instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and daily routines to help pets feel comfortable and maintain consistency. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality, needs, and preferences, ensuring they receive the appropriate level of attention, exercise, and affection. About: I have leash trained and kennel trained dogs over the years and train animals through gentle repetition and reward. Comfortable with special care such as medication or reasonable accommodation. I work from home during the day. We have a Golden Retriever named Biscuit and a Kelpie named Indi who are both super friendly and ready to play. We would prefer daytime services aside from boarding. I've lovingly cared for dogs since age 10, my mom’s farm in Missouri currently has 5 border collies. I love animals. Family, Neighbors and friends have trusted me for years to provide attentive walking & feeding for their furry companions. Currently since we have ample space on the ranch for outdoor play I have decided to start these services. We will have frequent trips to nearby parks like Sutey Ranch, Red Mt and Crown Mt.
About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I understand that every animal has unique needs, personalities, and routines. I’ve worked with pets of many different temperaments, behavioral challenges, and health conditions, so I’m comfortable adapting my care to ensure each pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for. I approach every sitting opportunity with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, while also providing genuine love, patience, and attention. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra care, I strive to create a positive and comfortable experience for both you and your pet. I am currently working in healthcare Monday-Friday 7am-4pm so weekdays are best for evening sitting or boarding pets that can handle being alone for that time. I am completely free on the weekends. I am an early riser and love to get out and enjoy the sunshine with a pet but am happy to stay close to home for pet needs. I do prefer to walk on leash as I don’t have a fenced in area and do like to ensure safety of the pets I care for and others around. There is a fenced in dog park a short walk from my apartment to let dogs run off leash if approved by owner. I don’t have any pets in my home so if I am to sit at my residence the pet would be in a secure and private environment. I keep a clean and safe household for all types of pets. I also am respectful and receptive to all household and pet needs on an individual basis.
“Laurie and her family were absolutely wonderful! I could tell that my husky Rocky felt right at home and was treated well when I picked him up. He got lots of exercise and attention, and was definitely a satisfied pup when I picked him up. I highly recommend Laurie and her family for taking care of your dog!”

“They are amazing dog sitters and the reason we could enjoy the great hikes in Aspen. Lucky had a great time with them. Thank you so much for accommodating our schedules.”

About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Growing up with three large dogs and two cats gave me a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong love for pets. Over the years, I have volunteered more than 130 hours with animal shelters and rescue organizations, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of tasks including walking, bathing, administering medications, transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments, and fostering dogs in need in my home. I’m also a full-time dog mom and currently work part-time from home, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and provide attentive care. I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s long neighborhood walks, hiking local trails, or simply enjoying fresh air with a happy pup by my side. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I would love the opportunity to help with all of your pet care needs and provide peace of mind while you're away. I have two dogs at home that I care for full time. First thing in the morning I let my pups outback into the fenced in yard. I then feed them breakfast around 7:30am. We love to go to the park or for walks, we do this every day. Some days we will head up to a lake or reservoir for some swimming. We have dinner in the evening and potentially another walk. When caring for a pet in your home, I like to do a meet and greet with the dog first if that is a possibility. When being in your home I can provide the dog with treats and a slow introduction to gain their trust. Once this has been completed, then I will go about their daily routine per your request.
“Highly recommend! She took wonderful care of my cat and was reliable, kind, and attentive throughout my time away. I really appreciated the updates, photos, and videos she sent after each visit. Seeing all the cuddles and attention made me feel confident my cat was in great hands. I’d absolutely book with her again!”

About: Hello! I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and have one dog of my own that would love to be friends with your fur baby! I have 20+ years of experience, and am extremely active. I listen well to instructions and will ensure your dog has the best walk, time or visit I can provide! I have had dogs ranging from large Bernese mountain dogs like my own to a small maltepoo (my parents dog) who has an extremely sensitive stomach and requires extra attention. I also volunteered at the SPCA in San Francisco for 3 years and the Dumb Friends League in Denver for 4 years which gave me exposure to handling dogs from all walks of life - some of them easy and mellow, others extremely shy and required gentle handling and patience, while others were aggressive and required someone who understands how to calm and work with an aggressive dog. I look forward to working with you and your dog! I’m currently home most of the time outside of running or babysitting (and i will let you know if i have a shift that overlaps w your dog’s care). I can offer house sitting if my dog, Aspen, can come with me. I also offer boarding one dog at a time (or 2 if they are both yours) from my townhome in Basalt willits. I take the dogs out every 2-4 hours and Aspen (outside of when we’re sleeping) and I go on a walk every morning. I will do the same for your pup! I ALWAYS keep my eye on the pups and have 1 other very friendly and lovable Bernese mountain dog who can’t wait to welcome your pet!
“Simon was at ease with Lu instantly. The minute she opened the door I don't think he even looked back at us lol! I could he was having fun and very happy from the photos she sent us. Thank you Lu for giving our darling boy a fun afternoon!”

“Katie was amazing with Harper! As a first-time Rover user, I was a little nervous, but Katie immediately put me at ease. She was so friendly and welcoming, and Harper took to her right away. Katie shared the cutest photos throughout the day, took Harper on multiple walks, and clearly made her feel comfortable and included. Harper came home happy, relaxed, and completely tired out from all the fun—which is pretty much the highest compliment a lab can give. I'm so thankful our first Rover experience was with Katie and would happily trust her with Harper again in the future!”

“Good communication and super flexible. We used Megan for daycare as we hiked close by. Jersey was well taken care of and Megan was flexible with pickup after we finished out hike. Thanks again!”

I grew up with dogs and rabbits. I have a dog named Ulysses. He is a German shorthair pointer. Your animal will have my full attention and affection. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Hope I can help ! I work at a restaurant in Aspen 3-4 days a week. Usually only a 6-hour shift. Tuesday’s, Wednesdays, and Thursday nights are my fixed schedule but may change. I live in a 2br 2bath apartment with a small patio. The dog parks close by as well as lots of places to walk around town. About: I am based in Carbondale, CO. I am currently pet/house sitting full time throughout the summer so I'm able to provide a high level of care for pets and homes throughout the valley! I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I've also cat-sat for friends, Trusted Housesitters, and Rover clients over the years. I'm happy to take them on walks, hikes, dog parks, and potty/play breaks throughout the day. The longest I've watched someone's pet was for 2 months, and I loved it! I'm also happy to take them camping if that's their jam. Feel free to reach out with any other questions! A note on transportation - In addition to my ambulance camper, I have an e-bike I often enjoy cycling throughout the valley, so parking availability at your home should not be an issue. I currently am full time pet sitting for the summer. I am very attentive and love morning, midday, fetch, and evening walks. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.
“Nevada took such great care of my timid dog. Her own personal dog also did a great job of feeling mine feel comfortable and at ease. Nevada sent me pictures thru out the visit and was even able to do pick up/drop off”

About: I grew up on a farm in the uk with cats and dogs and all of the animals. I’ve been a life long dog owner and currently have a beautiful McNab called Munro I study from home so I’m super flexible and very present with dog care. I prefer to be able to do a meet and greet prior to make sure we all connect . I prefer clients to have a fenced yard but if not then long leashed walks are also fun! Off leash is good too in the dog parks if your furry friend is good at recall.
“Jacqueline and Brad took amazing care of Pepper while I was out skiing for the day. I am so glad to have found them as an option for future day care in the valley! I could tell Pepper had a full day of activity and being social when I picked her up. I will definitely ask for their help again in the future.”

Our dog was exercised, safe and good socialization with other dogs. We will absolutely use them again when we come back to Glenwood Springs.”

“We are so grateful Andrea accepted our last minute request. She was great at communicating with us and sent us many pictures of Baloo during his time with her. Highly recommend.”

He’s given her the time and space she needs to slowly warm up, which we really appreciate. Jasper is always timely, responsible, professional, and very communicative. You can truly tell he loves animals, and Birdie is in great hands with him!”

About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.
“Lu is the absolute BEST! He is always there when we need him in a crunch and Roo seems so happy when she’s under his wing. He sends the cutest photos and it looks like they’re having a blast. Highly recommend Lu for any of your pups needs!”

“Such wonderful & caring sitters! Destiny and her partner, Cal, watched our old Golden and gave her so much love and attention. They sent us great pics and updates while we were gone. On the last day of our trip a wildfire broke out up near our house. They saw an alert about it on their phone and didn't hesitate to go grab her and take her home with them when they couldn't get ahold of us. I'm so thankful for their dedication.”

“Jessica is SO great! Communication was easy and I felt relieved knowing my pup was well cared for while at work. I will definitely be using her again for walks and housesitting! Highly recommend her services!”
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and years of caring for a variety of breeds since moving to the valley. I’m skilled at handling multiple dogs at once, including those with different temperaments, ensuring each one receives the care and attention they need. I have a very flexible schedule and I am able to travel to provide my services. With some notice I can be available for anything you need! I have one gray tabby cat who is a little timid with dogs at first but warms up quickly and has made friends with several dogs in the past. We are able to separate her in another room if needed. She is not great with other cats but as stated before we can separate if and when needed to ensure comfort and safety for everyone involved! I professionally care for your home property and pets, handling tasks like plant care, mail collection, bird feeders, snow clearing, feeding and medications if necessary, As well as any other duties during your absence. With experience overseeing properties for extended periods, I ensure all needs are met with direct and frequent communication, so you can have peace of mind knowing your home and your pets are in trusted hands!

What sets me apart is the combination of patience, reliability, and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. I treat each dog like part of my family and focus on creating a safe, calm, and fun environment while their owners are away. During walks, I always use secure leashes and remain attentive to my surroundings. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
“They are amazing dog sitters and the reason we could enjoy the great hikes in Aspen. Lucky had a great time with them. Thank you so much for accommodating our schedules.”

“Kristine, her darling son Arthur and mom Nina, were the most incredible sitters! Our Goldendoodle and Pomeranian were so happy, completely spoiled, and loved their time with all of them and Nina's sweet puppy Ari. Kristine was wonderful with her communication, and sent pictures and videos every day so we knew our pups were so happy. I can't say enough wonderful things about Kristine; she is an angel, loves dogs, the sweetest lady, and went over and beyond with our pups! They enjoyed all their walks and hikes, and loved being pampered by them all. Thank you Kristine, Nina and sweet Arthur for taking care of our fur babies! She is the absolute best! Many, many thanks and we are so happy to have found an amazing sitter for our pups in Aspen. With much gratitude and appreciation, Kat, Mochi and Kodi”

“We highly recommend Nevada for all of your pet care needs! She is experienced, knowledgeable, dependable and flexible. Our dog Birdie is shy with strangers, but Nevada was patient and attentive and made her feel right at home. Her sweet dog Duke is a gentle soul and was very accepting of Birdie in his space. Nevada will treat your pet like her own, providing lots of love and exercise! Birdie always comes home happy and smiling!”
