About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Growing up with three large dogs and two cats gave me a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong love for pets. Over the years, I have volunteered more than 130 hours with animal shelters and rescue organizations, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of tasks including walking, bathing, administering medications, transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments, and fostering dogs in need in my home. About: Hello! I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and have one dog of my own that would love to be friends with your fur baby! I have 20+ years of experience, and am extremely active. I listen well to instructions and will ensure your dog has the best walk, time or visit I can provide! I have had dogs ranging from large Bernese mountain dogs like my own to a small maltepoo (my parents dog) who has an extremely sensitive stomach and requires extra attention. I also volunteered at the SPCA in San Francisco for 3 years and the Dumb Friends League in Denver for 4 years which gave me exposure to handling dogs from all walks of life - some of them easy and mellow, others extremely shy and required gentle handling and patience, while others were aggressive and required someone who understands how to calm and work with an aggressive dog. I look forward to working with you and your dog! I’m currently home most of the time outside of running or babysitting (and i will let you know if i have a shift that overlaps w your dog’s care). I can offer house sitting if my dog, Aspen, can come with me. I also offer boarding one dog at a time (or 2 if they are both yours) from my townhome in Basalt willits. I take the dogs out every 2-4 hours and Aspen (outside of when we’re sleeping) and I go on a walk every morning. I will do the same for your pup! I live in a 2br 2bath apartment with a small patio. The dog parks close by as well as lots of places to walk around town. I take my own dog Ulysses to Crown mtn park, Basalt mtn, or up by Sopris at least once a day. The Rio Grande trail is right by my place as well.

I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.

About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. When caring for a pet in your home, I like to do a meet and greet with the dog first if that is a possibility. About: I am based in Carbondale, CO. I am currently pet/house sitting full time throughout the summer so I'm able to provide a high level of care for pets and homes throughout the valley! I've cared for my own dogs, roommates' dogs, friends' pets, Trusted Housesitter stays, and Rover sits over the past 10 years. I've cared for dogs from puppyhood to 13 years old. I've also cat-sat for friends, Trusted Housesitters, and Rover clients over the years. I'm happy to take them on walks, hikes, dog parks, and potty/play breaks throughout the day. A note on transportation - In addition to my ambulance camper, I have an e-bike I often enjoy cycling throughout the valley, so parking availability at your home should not be an issue. I currently am full time pet sitting for the summer. I am very attentive and love morning, midday, fetch, and evening walks. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.
