We have some nervous animals, and she respected their space and let them approach her or ignore her as they wanted to, while providing great care. By the end of the time of our reserved Drop-In visits they were sitting in the same area without our animals dashing off and they would meet her at the door eager for their time together. She was also open to learning and caring for our chickens. She did well to judge when it would be best to keep them in the coop, out of the cold and when to let them out for the day. If she had any questions, she did very well to ask, clarify instructions and follow through with them. Bre was also able to do some extra property care, opening and closing of gates, getting mail, and bringing in packages as needed. She felt confident suggesting procedures that we hadn't considered to better conduct her services and delivered them constructively. We are very pleased with Bre and hope to use her services in the future. We are also impressed with the Rover app, and how they protect their customers and their service providers.”

About: I grew up with a house full of animals, horses, birds, cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, etc. I love animals and would be thrilled to watch over yours! Growing up my mom also fostered all sorts of dogs, so I have experience with all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I work from home making my schedule pretty flexible to assist in your doggie caring needs. My pup Baldwin recently passed at almost 15yo and he was a cuddler extrodinaire - so if your pup has just been home alone and just needs some cuddles, my experience is not lacking. I only watch 1 dog at a time unless it’s 2 from the same household. I work from home so I am around all day M-F! During the hotter months I will walk the dogs early morning or late afternoon. I live near downtown Colorado Springs, I have a fenced yard, but the front fence is only about 3-4ft high. My home is only about 800sq feet but is very open.

About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. I don’t know if I trust myself with trimming. I would very much love to do boarding; I have a cat. As long as your dog does not eat, my cat is excellent to go! My schedule is generally crazy. Most times, if I have to work up at the senior center, it is usually pre-scheduled. I also go to school online. I like to do dog walks in the morning or mid-afternoon because it allows my brain to get fresh air and reboot. I would treat your dog just as much as mine. About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. We currently have a sweet pitbull and a comically opposite min pin. We make it work for them! They both receive meds every day so I am no stranger to that process. Looking to expand this care for others in the community. I freelance from my home so my schedule is very flexible. I take care of both of our pups daily. They get meds in the morning and a walk to the park before dinner. They were kind, honest, and patient working with me when booking and sent me pictures and updates throughout the week. Being a bigger dog most people are scared and don't know how to handle her but all they say was a silly dog who loves to play and gives kisses. “We recently booked Michael’s services for an extended stay of 7 days. We have a 100 pound German shepherd named Alakay that doesn’t do well with other dogs. The entire time, Michael was very accommodating towards our needs and concerns. We were initially very nervous because this was our first time using Rover and boarding not at a local kennel. Just during the first day, we received updates on how Alakay was doing and Michael stayed in contact with us the entire time with pictures and updates on his day. We were able to enjoy our vacation worry free and know that Alakay was in good hands. We came back to a very happy Alakay and you could tell he enjoyed his stay significantly more than previous kennels we have booked. We will 100% book with Michael again!”

“Chelsie was absolutely amazing to my senior dog Snickers. She gave him all the patience that he needed. he is almost 15 years old and his hips have seen better days. She made sure to assist him in walking up and down the stairs to go inside and outside, she spoiled him with treats, ear, rubs, and nose rubs. She has her dogs, honey and little girl and Snickers enjoyed a little outing to the park across the street to bring out his younger years. I will definitely be using Chelsea in the future for my dog sitting needs.”
