About: Hello! My name is Gwen and my husband's name is Mikkel. We live full time between the towns of Granby and Grand Lake and both work from home. We currently have 1 dog - a medium-sized, mild-mannered mixed breed named Baxter. Since we both work from home and are now empty nesters with a quiet house, we'd love to help you with dog care when you need to go out of town. We both have had dogs all of our lives, ranging from small dogs to labs, huskies, and shepherd mixes. We have taken care of dogs for friends and family on a regular basis. We take Baxter out for a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening so your pup(s) will get plenty of exercise with us if they'd like to. We don't have a fenced yard but will keep the dogs on leashes. We'll only book 1 family's dog or dogs at a time so it won't be too chaotic. We are confident with puppies, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra time or understanding. We will only provide care for one family at a time as that is what we expect when our pup is being watched! We live 2 miles from the national park entrance in a one level tri-plex. We have outdoor space for potty breaks & light playtime. We have an 8 year old golden retriever who is friendly with all animals (unless you’re a squirrel 😜). We currently have only 1 elderly neighbor who uses the home as a weekend getaway. He has 2 dogs which are fenced in or on leash. Our home is pup friendly on all surfaces and if they like to sleep in bed with us that’s perfectly fine! We take our girl on a mandatory leashed walk, hike, paddle or dog park trip every single day. “Noah was amazing with our little Lhasapoo, Gus. Within 90 minutes of dropping Gus off, Noah sent a photo of Gus curled up on a dog bed with Noah's little dog, Finley. This was a shock to see since Gus is easily intimidated by other dogs as a result of a very traumatic attack by three dogs 5 yrs. ago in another state. Noah subsequently sent several more pictures of Gus, Finley, and another small dog together. This made me so happy to see! Noah was also very understanding and accommodating when we had to adjust our travel plans three times for various reasons, including encountering an unexpected snow storm. I've already booked Gus's next stay with Noah (and Finley). : )”

About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. Im currently working part time so ill have plenty of time to take care of your pups! I like to get out on walks or even hikes in the mornings. “Five stars does not begin to do justice for Marcy’s kindness and care for animals. I asked her last minute to watch Ranger instead of leave him at the pet lodge in town, and it was the best decision I’ve made in recent memory. She responded promptly, offered to watch him on very short notice, and showed him so much love and care. Marcy treats and loves our pets like they are her own, and my puppy was actually even happier after staying a night with her. Cannot recommend Marcy enough!”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life and have been taking care of dogs for about 10 years! I have lots of experience walking and caring for neighbor’s dogs as well as taking care of dogs of friends and family. I have a pet friendly apartment and would also be happy to go anywhere to take care of your dog, whether that be your house or the park! I would able to take care of your dog almost any day of the week! Just need to know I’m advance to make sure it works with my schedule! I have a good sized apartment and there is also a yard area for dogs to run around outside. I am happy to walk, feed, and take care of your dog in any way you might need!
About: I grew up on a farm taking care of all kinds of animals. Lots of dogs and cats have come into my life and I feel lucky to have had the love of each. Many friends and family have trusted me to care for their animals and we have now recently welcomed a new puppy into our home. I have experience with small to big dogs, as well as, cats!! I love them all! I live close to Eldora let me know if you need a doggy day care while you go enjoy Eldora for the day!! I currently work 4 days a week and always have weekends off of work and am available on most evenings after 6. Some work days I am available in the mornings as well. We currently have a 10 month old puppy who is such a joy in our lives. We are currently crate training him at night only now. He has a space in our home that is safe for him during the day. We go for walks and have lots of playtime outside. We provide lots of chew toys and a lick pad for stimulation.
