About: I've always adored cats, but I was unable to have one growing up, since my dad had allergies. Because of this, I was eager to cat-sit anytime the need arose for friends and coworkers. When with the animal, I ensure I notice its behaviors to learn its habits. I care much more for positive re-enforcement but can apply gentle negative re-enforcement (tugs on lease for instance) if the owner is ok with that. I am trained with e-collars so happy to ease into that with an animal if that is best.

Because Ursa is pretty shy we needed someone who could give her attention yet give her the space she needed and Melinda was the perfect person to watch her. We were very comfortable leaving her with Melinda and appreciated receiving several updates throughout the night and the next morning. We highly recommend and will certainly ask Melinda to watch Ursa if we need someone to watch her the next time we’re in Denver for the night.”
