“We live in Teller County and was looking for boarding options in our area when we came across Gayle’s listing on Rover. We reached out to Gayle and she immediately accepted our boarding request. We found Gayle and her husband to be warm and inviting, you can tell immediately they truly love animals and hosting them at their home. With a large fenced in back yard, our 65lb Golden had plenty of room to run and play with the other dogs.”

“Kim was so gracious to take our dog Eddie who has some anxiety and her crew really loved on him. She communicated regularly with us by sending messages and even a video which was comforting to see. “Patty & Mike took WONDERFUL care of our shy rescue lab for 2 weeks. They sent pictures & videos every day of him sunning on the porch, playing frisbee, wandering their wonderful backyard & chewing on toys or napping. We highly recommend them & are already planning our next trip now that we have a safe & happy place to leave our buddy. 5+ stars !”

“I have two 60 lbs labradoodles, the complete joy of my life. I work from home and take them on many adventures so when I was looking for a pet sitter to be able to give them the level of attention and play they typically get I knew it would be a challenge. Matt and his wife are a perfect fit!! Their work schedules allow them to be home with the dogs almost always. They were kind, honest, and patient working with me when booking and sent me pictures and updates throughout the week. I could tell Raggy and Stewie were having a great time and fell right in within the new pack. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of my boys while I was away. I will be rebooking! 🫶🫶🫶”

Cats can be stressed out and spicy floofs when their humans are away, so understanding cat body language is extremely important to me. “Edyn is so great with our senior boy. We appreciate that she pays attention to his level of enthusiasm for the walk, which can definitely vary by the weather and time of day.”

About: I’ve loved pets for as long as I can remember, so it was a natural fit when a friend asked me to come and stay with her babies when she and her husband were on a 3 week vacation abroad. Word got out and before I knew it, another friend asked me to take care of her babies while she was in Germany. My new business thrived! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and homes in CA, CO, AZ, and VA. ❤️ They love me and I love them. I am self employed so it’s easy to work your pet/s into my schedule. If it’s dropping in for a potty break and quick play date, or a good long walk to get some fresh air, I have lots of available slots to take care of your precious baby. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my home, however I treat your pets with as much love and care in your home as I treat my precious granddog in mine. Much patience and love is required for pets who are missing their parents and I love caring for them and maybe even spoiling them a bit. 😉
About: I have been working with all different types of dogs my whole life. Ive owened Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Recently have been walking and sitting dogs for friends. Dogs have an energy that you don't get from working with any other animal or human. I have found working with dogs makes it more fun to "work". I currently am unable to own my own dog, but am very excited to be able to help other owners out. I also enjoy getting outside and being active. If your dog likes to jog, I don't have a problem doing so. Fetch or the dog parks are also fun alternatives, if I know owners are ok with it. I’m currently working overnight shift (9:45pm-6:15am)Sat-Wed, but have plenty of time during the day to take care of your pets needs. I currently don’t have any pets, so I’d love to be able to dote on yours while you’re away. I prefer to sit in the home of the animal that is needing the care, as I feel that makes for an easier transition for the pet.
About: I have taken care of pets for over 30 years and grown up with dogs as pets my whole life! I enjoy being around pets and taking care of them. Our sweet Pug had seizures so I am familiar with caring for dogs that need meds and care with that also. I work from home and own a Business so can be very flexible with schedules and can be at home with your pet or drop by your home when needed! We live on 3 acres and live on back gravel roads so can walk your pet throughout the day if needing that. I’m home working throughout the day so can get them outside as much as needed.
About: I have been in the veterinary profession for 7 years, I am able to administer medications and available for any special needs your fur baby might have. I prefer to meet before booking but I understand emergencies come up. I am completely comfortable coming to your home and walking your kiddo or staying overnight while you are away. I have a St Bernard (4 yrs old), a tabby cat (14 yrs old), a Sphynx cat (1 yr old), and our newest addition is a Border Collie (6 months old). My cats love to lounge in the sun and the dog’s look forward to their walks and dog park time. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of availablilty to hang out and care for your loved ones. Weekends may vary based on my schedule. I have a fenced in yard with two dogs in the home, both are spayed females. We have plenty of fun playing in the sprinkler and dog pool. We also have tons of toys to fetch and chew on.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience and the level of care I put into every pet I watch. I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and even horses for over 10 years, and I currently pet sit for four dogs regularly. I’m comfortable with puppies, including basic training and routines, as well as senior pets who may need extra patience, attention, or medication. I’m extremely responsible, dependable, and always on time. I truly love animals and take my role seriously—I want every pet to feel safe, happy, and fulfilled while their owners are away, not just cared for but genuinely comfortable and loved. Pet care fits really well into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on the pets I’m caring for. I’m happy to do house sitting, extended stays, or regular drop-ins for potty breaks, feeding, walks, and lots of attention and love. I plan my schedule around the pets’ routines to make sure they get consistent care, and I take being reliable and on time very seriously. Making sure pets feel comfortable and well cared for is always a priority for me. I care for pets by sticking closely to their normal routines, whether that’s in my home or in a client’s home. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and attention. I always keep their space clean and safe, and I pay close attention to their behavior so I can notice if anything seems off. I’m comfortable giving extra care to puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior pets who may need a slower pace or medication. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, happy, and as stress-free as possible while their owners are away.
About: I provide calm, attentive care tailored to each animal’s unique personality and routine. Dogs, cats, and horses have been a part of my life for many years, and I’ve also cared for a variety of other companion animals. My goal is simple: to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I believe great pet care is built on consistency. Nutritious meals, fresh water, exercise, play, rest, affection, and a clean environment all contribute to a happy, healthy animal. Every pet is different, and I enjoy getting to know what helps them feel most at ease. My greatest strengths are patience, adaptability, and communication. I’ll follow your pet’s routine carefully, ask questions whenever needed, and keep you updated throughout the stay. If something unexpected happens, you’ll hear from me promptly. I believe honesty and reliability are the foundation of excellent pet care. Caring for animals is already a natural part of my everyday life. My schedule is intentionally flexible, allowing me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications, or simply offering companionship, I enjoy creating a calm and predictable routine that helps pets feel safe and comfortable. Much of my work centers around caregiving, so being present, observant, and responsive comes naturally to me. I also spend a great deal of time outdoors, making regular walks, enrichment, and exercise an enjoyable part of the day. When your pet is in my care, they become part of my daily rhythm—not an interruption to it. I respect each pet’s individual needs and do my best to maintain the routines they’re familiar with, helping them feel secure while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my highest priorities. I pay close attention to my surroundings, your home’s security, and your pet’s behavior and routines. Whether we’re on a walk, in your home, or exploring a favorite trail, I stay present and attentive to potential hazards, changing weather, wildlife, traffic, and anything that could affect your pet’s comfort or safety. I respect your home as carefully as I care for your animals. Doors are secured, routines are followed, medications are given as directed, and you’ll receive regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence. Trust is built through clear communication, consistency, and honesty. If I have a question, I’ll ask. If something unexpected happens, I’ll let you know immediately. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel safe, cared for, and completely at ease.

“Jennie was very flexible and accomodating with scheduling an initial meeting and walking our dog while we had a last minute trip out of town. He can be a handful on walks and she did really well with him! On top of that, our flight got cancelled and Jennie was nice enough to walk and feed our dog an extra night and morning before we could get home! I really appreciated that she didn't just leave him to fend for himself alone and made time in her schedule to help us out!”

I’m adaptable when it comes to my furry clients. I find it helpful to set up a meet and greet before accepting a booking, that way both parties are comfortable and agree that we are a good fit. I pay attention to detail and leave your home exactly as I found it. Any pet messes will be cleaned up immediately upon discovery. My goal is for your pet to feel comforted when you aren’t able to be there. I value communication and update my clients after each visit.
About: Since I was a child, I have always loved dogs. When I grew old enough to own my own dog, I jumped on that opportunity and have since had several dogs in my life. My two dogs, Akira and Raven, are treated like family members and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. My in laws often ask me to watch their dogs because they know they will be treated and taken seriously if anything were to happen to them. I am currently unemployed and stay at home full time which gives me plenty of time to take care of your beloved pet as if they are my own. I have a fully fenced yard with outside access all day long. I have two other friendly dogs. A husky who is 6 and a lab pup who will be 2 in December who love to run and play. If you prefer your dog to be separated from them, that is no issue as my dogs are crate trained.
About: I have cared for a variety of dogs and cats, as well as rabbits and other critters. I've administered medications and given baths as needed. I do have a quirky, medium-sized husky mix that would come with me for overnights. She gets along well with dogs, though she can play a bit rough sometimes. I currently work full time from home and my flexible schedule allows for frequent walks and attention paid to the animal friends in my care. My husky mix, Sabine, would be with me for any overnights. I live in a quite neighborhood near endless trail access, so there's more than adequate opportunities for safe and extensive exercise for any furry friends boarding at my home. I follow all instructions from clients regarding their needs and preferences for care in their homes or my own.

“Sarah is the PERFECT person to take care of your fur baby! She gives a lot of attention and care, and will put your mind at ease with photos of your doggos enjoying their vacation. Excellent communication, top-notch care!”

“Jonathan was outstanding! We were in a pinch after traveling 7hrs to Colorado Springs just to find out the Hotel wouldn’t allow Tucker. Jonathan answered our prayers and was willing to take Tucker in last minute for a long weekend. He kept us updated with photos and Tucker loved every minute. If we are ever back we will be contacting him again.”

“Courtney was amazing with my puppy, Mac!! She sent videos and pictures of him playing with the other dogs. Highly recommend trusting your fur baby with her and her family.”

“Patty & Mike took WONDERFUL care of our shy rescue lab for 2 weeks. They sent pictures & videos every day of him sunning on the porch, playing frisbee, wandering their wonderful backyard & chewing on toys or napping. They kept him entertained & managed his shyness so that he was completely comfortable in their home. We highly recommend them & are already planning our next trip now that we have a safe & happy place to leave our buddy. 5+ stars !”

“My dog had an absolute blast with Dina while my family was in spring break! I received videos and photos at multiple times throughout the days showing the new dog-friends that Penny was making, the great walks she would go on, and the fun times she was having in the house.”

“This is a nice home away from home for Scruffles. Madeline and Christian know dogs and are able to keep our little one happy. Communication is great.”

“Lexi and her family were phenomenal! They kept me up to date every day on how my dog was doing. The meet and greet was super smooth and helped me feel comfortable. “We Left our dog Zac with Nichole For 3 days. She was so sweet and easy to work with, and stayed in good communication with us. She took good care of Zac, and gave him a much needed bath that we hadn’t had time to give him, but had made prior arrangements with her for. It was a great first experience with Rover all the way around, and we would definitely look Nicole up again!”
“Christina took great care of Goose!
