About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned, cared for, and worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities—from toy breeds to full-grown Mastiffs. My experience also includes working with cattle and ranch dogs, several hunting breeds, and spending time assisting handlers working with K-9 units. That experience has taught me how different every dog can be and how important it is to pay attention to their individual personality, energy level, boundaries, and routine. Whether your dog is a laid-back couch companion, an energetic working breed, a powerful large dog, or somewhere in between, I’m comfortable adapting my care to what they need. My goal is simple: give your dog safe, dependable care and treat them with the same patience and attention I’d want for my own. I work from home, so pups get plenty of attention, tailored walks, adventures, playtime, stimulation, and a large fenced yard for sunbathing. Trips to the off leach dog park when we are able. I follow each pet’s normal routine and needs, from feeding and walks to playtime, enrichment, and downtime. At home, pups enjoy supervision, a fenced yard, and plenty of attention.

About: Hi everyone! My family has always had dogs, we had a rhodesian ridgeback and a mut while I was growing up. My family has also fostered puppies on and off for the last few years. Through middle and high school I would pet sit for my parents friends, and I was a stable hand for our neighbours horses down the street. I love dogs and have always surrounded myself by them, weather through having my own, fostering, or pet sitting. I’m currently in nursing school. When I don’t have clinicals (which my availability will reflect), I just have classes in town for a couple hours a couple days a week. I don’t have a yard where I’m living right now, but I love taking dogs to the river, hikes, dog parks, ect. I live a super active lifestyle and am always outside doing stuff, so having a dog to accompany me on my adventures works out perfectly!

About: I strive to provide the kind of care I’d want for my own pets—loving, attentive & dependable. I work from home as a special education teacher for an online school which gives me the time and flexibility to comfort and care for pets with all different kinds of needs. I am an animal lover to the core, the kind of person who always thinks of my pets needs/comfort first. We have a friendly 4 year old dog and an indifferent 17 year old cat of our own, so please keep that in mind when booking. Our home is in the country with a fully fenced/chain link yard. The environment is calm and quiet throughout the day. I take my own dog on at least 2 walks per day, and like to go to the nearby pond when we have extra time. Weekend adventures usually include hikes, playing in the snow (when available), long walks/adventures, etc. Potty breaks are provided throughout the day, at least every few hours and on demand. Giving love (pets, scratches, cuddles) is full time around here! I have had my own pets and sat for family and friends countless times over the years. I started using Rover for my dog last year and loved our experience, so I decided to provide my own services for those who might need it. I hope to build a clientele of returning customers based on my loving/caring nature and attentive home environment. I work from home, so love and attention are provided all day long. I take my own dog on several walks a day and try to squeeze in more activities on weekends. We have a fully fenced yard and 5 acres outside of that. About: Since childhood, I’ve always felt most at home among nonhuman animals, and I’ll never understand humans who treat animals as less deserving of love, respect, and care. My animals are my family, and I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I have experience with cats and dogs of all temperaments. One of my dogs has a history of reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. I feel very comfortable managing this type of behavior using treats, ecollar, muzzle, prevention techniques, and communication with other dog-owners. I’m also experienced managing groups of dogs off leash and will work with your dog to reinforce good recall and safety behaviors (such as stopping at intersections, waiting before they go out of sight, sitting for cars, passing other dogs, etc.). I am a writer who works from home. I am available for daycare, afternoon walks & drop-ins, and select boarding for dogs who get along well with my two dogs and are good with cats. If your dog is trained off-leash, has solid recall, and is either good with other dogs or muzzle trained, I offer pack hikes and walks. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that goes into the main living areas. My two dogs & 4 cats are onsite. Your dog must be good with cats and other dogs or be muzzle-trained to attend daycare or boarding at my home. Your dogs will get a walk or adventure during daycare (unless you prefer them not to, in which case they must be able to stay home alone for 1-2 hours either kenneled or loose without becoming destructive). To attend off-leash pack walks/hikes, your dogs must demonstrate reliable recall even when triggers are present (such as an other dogs, wildlife, cats, cars, etc.). Your dog must also have no history of aggression towards other dogs or people OR be muzzle-trained.

I try to take the dogs out 2 times a day for walks and every couple of hours for potty breaks. I do have a wonderful pup-o of my own, Luna so your doggo has some company. About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college.
