They also accommodated his fresh food diet, which is fairly high maintenance and requires freezing and dethawing his food in advance. About: Hi! My husband and I both work from home so your fur baby will have lots of attention and loves throughout the day. We have a large fenced yard along with parks that back up to our house - which means lots of walks and park play for your fur babies. I’m a lifelong animal lover who has cared for both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had pets my entire life, and caring for animals is something that comes very naturally to me. I have hands-on experience fostering puppies and dogs, where I take care of all their daily needs until they are adopted. This includes feeding, potty training, obedience training, socialization, and helping them adjust to new environments. Because of this, I’m very comfortable working with young puppies, high-energy dogs, and pets that may need a little extra patience and structure. I also have two cats with health conditions that require daily medication, so I am very experienced and comfortable administering medications to cats and dogs. I understand how important it is to follow care instructions closely and keep pets calm and comfortable during the process. I treat every pet like they are my own—with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or needs special care, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. My husband and I both work from home, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. If one of us needs to step out, the other is home, which means your pet will rarely (if ever) be left alone. We’re homebodies and truly enjoy being at home with animals, so I’m available for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. Your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard where your dog can safely play and explore. Our home backs up to a park with access to miles of trails, so your pup will get plenty of fun and enriching walks. Pets are welcome on furniture, including the bed, so they can feel comfortable and at home. If needed, I can easily crate your dog and follow any specific routines you have in place. For cats, I have a separate area of the home where they can relax without being bothered by dogs. I also provide cat trees, scratching posts, and toys to keep them comfortable, stimulated, and happy during their stay.
About: I have grown up with all different animals between dogs, ferrets, birds, and rabbits. Currently I have a dog of my own and he is a very friendly Husky who loves other dogs as well! I live in a townhome and unfortunately no backyard but we go for runs and walks throughout the day to make sure he gets enough exercise! There is also a dog park right up the street that we walk to :) I work from home all week so I am able to be with animals all day or go to a house quite a bit through the day as well! About: I absolutely love all pets! They are the best companions to have around. Although I do not have too much professional pet care experience, I have been around all type of pets throughout my entire life. Growing up mainly with dogs since I was 8. I have done dog walking for a couple of people but due to not having a car (they were far from me) i was not able to move forward. I tend to create bonds with pets fairly quickly, as well as get attached. I would treat your animal as if it were my own and love it just as much! Speaking of my own pets, I do have 2 small fur babies. Baby is my 7 year old female chihuahua, and Sabrina my 3yo cat. They’re both such lovers like their momma! They are my babies!! As of right now, I am available M-F 6am- 11pm and 6am- 1 am on Weekends. I am always open to flexibility if needed on some occasions. Thank you, Lexus P. I currently have an open schedule Monday - Friday and would love to fill it with wonderful pets to spend time with, hopefully on a regular! I will always ask pet parents if there is anything that I should know about the inside and outside environment. Places your pet and I shouldn’t go, should stay away from, and what is acceptable. I always make sure to check that all outside fences and gates remain closed and while on walks make sure to keep a firm grip on the leash. I will never ever ever put my hands on your pet in a non loving way! They deserve to be treated like a living being. I am currently in control of my own schedule so I am open to being present with your fur baby(ies) when you need me to. Bringing their favorite toys and bed will be a huge plus! I find it allows them to become more comfortable/have a safe space that they are familiar with.

About: I've owned dogs since I was 12 years old. I've had a heeler, a pitbull, a Husky mix and now 2 German Shepherds. I spend most of my day walking them around the woods and taking them to the lake. We do lots of hiking, working on our tricks and commands and enjoying this mountain life. I have experience with un-neutered and un-spayed females. I have experience administering medications (daily medication for one of my dogs with pannus) I've also had 3 of my dogs as puppies so I'm very experienced with puppies and younger pups, as well as provided senior care for my 15 year old Husky mix for the last 2 years of his life. All ages, all sizes, I love pups! I work part time doing property maintenance so I have a lot of flexibility and am able to make my own schedule. I spend most morning with the dogs, spend 4-6 hours at work when I have jobs and then come back home to my pups. My wife works as a bartender, so she’s usually home all day and I’m here at night so the pups always have company. Our apartment is right down the street from Kiva Beach (the best dog friendly beach in Lake Tahoe), Fallen Leaf Lake and countless trails throughout Desolation that I spend countless hours in with my pups and they always love company! Inside, dogs are allowed in all rooms and on all furniture. We consider our dogs our babies and treat them as such and hope you'll let us do the same for your fur baby!

I am currently taking gig work (usually in the evenings) and working events with the city of Denver every Wednesday, I am currently very flexible to make your pet my priority. I walk into every job ready to give a level of care I would hope my own animals would receive while I was away. All animals deserve love and attention, I give everything from cuddles and kisses to walks and playtime/enrichment based on the needs/desires of the animal.

“Stephen took great care of our dog and we'd definitely recommend him or use him again. We have a very high-energy aussie, and Stephen and his wife took him on plenty of walks and sent us pictures every day. They were accomodating when our flight had to be rescheduled and we extended our dog's stay by one day. They also accommodated his fresh food diet, which is fairly high maintenance and requires freezing and dethawing his food in advance. Their dog door was very convenient for our dog to use who is used to letting himself out on his own schedule, and they have a large backyard for the dogs to run around. Thanks again, Stephen!”
