“Saunie was wonderful! I intentionally chose someone who had fewer reviews (as a previous rover worker myself) and was looking for someone with specific care experience. She was the perfect fit! This was the first time I've left my pets alone with anyone at all, a stranger or otherwise, and it went about as well as it could have! I have one extremely shy cat who never comes out, and I saw on my pet cam that while Saunie was with my other pets, my very shy kitty secretly poked her little out and checked everything out. If she trusts Saunie, I trust Saunie! That was all the validation I needed personally, but overall she was fantastic. Quick to respond, follows care instructions well and ensures she understands them multiple times before you leave, and she's extremely communicative and open. We had to make a small adjustment to our last visit and she was communicating rapidly with me the whole time which was very comforting. Overall, she's a great choice and I think anyone is safe leaving their previous fur babies in her hands! I will seek her out again if ever needed.”

About: I’ve lived with and cared for all types of dogs and cats since I was a young child. I care for friends and family member’s pets throughout the years. My family and I love animals and are dedicated to providing a caring and fun environment for your pet. I work from home and have plenty of time to walk and play with pups. We love our pups and kitty and walk Mollie and Hollie at least a mile everyday. We have a large park with a lake full of interesting smells for pups to explore. We are used to dietary restrictions and can adapt to any personality. You can drop your pet off and relax knowing they are cared for by a loving family. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to take multiple walks a day and play in the yard with your pup. We feed our animals in the morning and evening and we all snuggle together on the bed at night. I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so your pup may go in and out as often as they like. Some pups can’t figure out the dog door so I am here to let them in and out as needed. We take at least one long walk a day and play fetch in the yard. Pups are welcomed to sleep in our room if they are more comfortable there.

About: We've had our dog, Arlo, for four wonderful years since he was rescued in Texas. Both of us grew up with dogs, so we've always had a love for them. Arlo was a "code-red" rescue due to his fear of humans, but it's been incredibly rewarding watching him grow more comfortable and become a loving part of our home. He’s an amazing learner, and we’ve even taught him many tricks along the way! About our home: My fiancé and I both work from home, so we’re around almost all the time while your dog stays with us. We have a medium-sized fenced backyard where your dog can explore and play. We also have plenty of room inside to separate the dogs if they need their own space. Autumn has experience working with HABIT, a program with school social work dogs, and she absolutely loved it. Before your dog’s stay, feel free to share any details about their daily routine, special behaviors, digging habits, or food restrictions so we can make sure they’re comfortable. As a heads-up, since neither of us are professional dog carers, we’re unable to accept dogs that are aggressive, overly reactive, or need intensive medical care. My fiancé and I both work from home full time so there will almost always be someone home. On the weekends we may run some errands occasionally but aren’t ever gone for more than a couple hours because of Arlo. We have a medium size fenced in backyard that your dog is welcome to roam while they are here. Arlo is a fairly energetic playmate and will happily chase around the backyard with any dog willing to play along. Inside we have plenty of space for separation/decompression if needed for any reason. Communication is something that we value. We are very responsive and will send updates with photos of your pup during its stay.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 13, from our family dog growing up, to helping out with friends' dogs, to raising my two-year-old dog, Atlas. I'm available for boarding on weekends, starting on Fridays after 1pm. Your pup will have my full attention all weekend for daily walks, playtime and cuddles. About: Your pet will be cared for like one of the family. I have a big yard for them to play in and I have plenty of comfy spots for them to lay in, and I have plenty of toys for them to play with. Whether I come to your house or you come to my house your pet will be safe, sound, and happy! I will give extra attention to your pet if I am dog-walking or just visiting with your pet. I will provide pictures and videos for the owner's peace of mind. Seniors are welcome and encouraged to apply as they will be properly spoiled rotten. Puppies are welcome but prefer that they are potty trained first. Can work on basic commands with all. I am semi retired. I have time in my day to spoil the fur babies! My schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of both my fur babies and other fur babies visiting. All pets are in the pack. They go outside often and go on one to two walks a day. They can sleep on the furniture or beds. All are fed on a schedule and treats or bones are provided.

About: I love caring for animals, I currently own a great pyrenees, a dachshund mix, a cat and three ferrets. I have extensive knowledge on a variety of animals including reptiles, small animals, birds, aquatics, dogs and cats. I will take care of your animals how I take care of mine. I have hands-on experience with anxious, reactive, high prey drive, and hard-to-motivate dogs, including dogs who are fearful, overstimulated, or simply uninterested in treats or traditional approaches. I’m open-minded about training and behavior support, and I believe success comes from learning the individual dog in front of you rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all method. My professional background in healthcare and hospitality shaped how I care for both people and animals: with attentiveness, empathy, calm communication, and reliability. To me, pet care is an extension of that work. Animals deserve the same patience, understanding, and compassion we offer our human loved ones — honestly, maybe even more. My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to be highly available and adaptable to both you and your pets’ needs.
