About: I’ve lived with and cared for all types of dogs and cats since I was a young child. I care for friends and family member’s pets throughout the years. My family and I love animals and are dedicated to providing a caring and fun environment for your pet. I work from home and have plenty of time to walk and play with pups. We love our pups and kitty and walk Mollie and Hollie at least a mile everyday. We have a large park with a lake full of interesting smells for pups to explore. We are used to dietary restrictions and can adapt to any personality. You can drop your pet off and relax knowing they are cared for by a loving family. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to take multiple walks a day and play in the yard with your pup. We feed our animals in the morning and evening and we all snuggle together on the bed at night. I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so your pup may go in and out as often as they like. Some pups can’t figure out the dog door so I am here to let them in and out as needed. We take at least one long walk a day and play fetch in the yard. Pups are welcomed to sleep in our room if they are more comfortable there.

Our home backs up to a park with access to miles of trails, so your pup will get plenty of fun and enriching walks. Pets are welcome on furniture, including the bed, so they can feel comfortable and at home. If needed, I can easily crate your dog and follow any specific routines you have in place. For cats, I have a separate area of the home where they can relax without being bothered by dogs. I also provide cat trees, scratching posts, and toys to keep them comfortable, stimulated, and happy during their stay.

About: We've been a foster family for the Dumb Friends League for over a decade. My children and I have loved caring for all the furry beasts, and their unique personalities, over the years. We have a fenced in backyard that backs onto a school, park, and walking trails. Ours is an active home with people constantly going in and out. There would almost always be extra people around happy to give your pet attention. I work from home, with small jobs and errands that take me out for only a few hours at a time. There is enough space if your pet needs a quiet space, that can be provided. We do own one unambitious lump of a cat that charms us with his squinty stares and warm cuddles. When other animals have been in the house, he keeps to my room. We've had hundreds of foster animals through the years, mostly kittens, puppies, their mommies as well as some rabbits and guinea pigs. Some have required more attention than others. We've administered meds, fed and cleaned plenty of messes, and spent hours just enjoying and playing with them.

Their safety is non-negotiable — when I was in the Peace Corps and realized the environment wasn't safe for the dog I'd adopted, I sent him back to the U.S. rather than risk it. I also have my own dog, so daily walks, feeding schedules, and reading a dog's mood or energy level are already habits, not extra tasks. Your dog's care gets the same consistency mine does. I show up on time and stick to your dog's usual routine — same leash, same route, same pace, unless you'd like something different. I watch their energy and body language throughout, not just for safety, but to actually read what they need that day. Before I go, I make sure water's out and everything's left the way I found it. I also send a quick photo or update after the walk, so you know exactly how it went.

Whatever your pet needs, I'm ready and willing to provide. I'm currently working a flexible schedule from home, so I have plenty of availability to take care of your pets! I'm typically available from 8:00am to about 5:00pm for walks and check-in visits on weekdays. On weekends, I'm even more flexible, especially Sundays. I can accommodate your special routines and needs for your pet. I understand each pet is a unique individual and will make sure their needs are met exactly according to your instruction.
