“Myah was wonderful! She and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in their care. She sent updates and photos every day, which I really appreciated while I was away. My dog seemed happy and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

“Barbara and her family are delightful and kind. Oliver enjoyed his stay with them very much, and I felt comfortable leaving him knowing he would be cared for, as I would care for him.”

“So happy I found Alexis! We left our pup with her for the weekend and had a great experience. I felt 100% comfortable leaving Chop in her care and will definitely be using her again!”

About: Dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent much of my free time learning about different breeds, canine behavior, body language, health, grooming, and training. As an adult, that passion has only grown, and I have been fortunate enough to turn my lifelong love of dogs into a career. I have over eight years of professional experience working with dogs, including six years as a groomer and trainer at a boarding, grooming, and training facility, followed by two years as a professional groomer in a veterinary setting. Throughout my career, I have worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to my hands-on experience, I have completed numerous online and in-person educational programs through organizations such as the American Kennel Club (AKC) and industry conferences including the Pasadena Groom & Kennel Expo. My continuing education has included canine behavior and body language, canine CPR and first aid, breed standards and breed-specific grooming techniques, behavior modification, working safely with aggressive dogs, and training dogs with behavioral challenges. I believe there is always more to learn, and I am passionate about continuing my education so I can provide the highest level of care possible. One of my greatest strengths is understanding canine body language and behavior. I am highly proficient at recognizing stress signals, fear responses, anxiety, overstimulation, excitement, and other behavioral cues. Over the years, I have worked with everything from easygoing family pets to dogs struggling with reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety, fear-based behaviors, and other behavioral challenges. Understanding why a dog is behaving a certain way allows me to create a positive, safe, and low-stress experience tailored to each individual dog. I have also spent years fostering and grooming dogs for our local Humane Society, often taking on dogs that need extra patience, confidence-building, socialization, training, or behavioral support. Helping these dogs grow and succeed has been one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My experience as a groomer has taught me the importance of being observant and proactive. Groomers often see dogs more frequently than veterinarians and spend extended periods of time closely examining a dog's skin, coat, ears, eyes, feet, movement, and overall condition. Throughout my career, I have helped many clients identify potential concerns that later warranted veterinary attention, including food and environmental allergies, chronic skin conditions, ear infections, unusual lumps or bumps, coat changes, mobility concerns, and other health issues. While I never diagnose medical conditions, I take pride in recognizing when something appears unusual and encouraging owners to seek veterinary care. In many cases, early recognition helped owners find answers sooner and allowed their pets to receive treatment before problems became more serious or caused prolonged discomfort. I currently live on 10 acres with my three dogs: two Chihuahua mixes that I adopted as foster failures from the Humane Society and a Standard Poodle who has become somewhat of a local celebrity. Thanks to my grooming experience, he is known for his creative trims and has won local Halloween costume contests. He has also participated in community events where he helped demonstrate proper grooming and brushing techniques for pet owners. His friendly, outgoing personality and love of meeting new people are a reflection of the training, socialization, and care that I believe every dog deserves. Every dog is unique, and I believe exceptional care starts with understanding each dog's individual personality, needs, and communication style. Whether your dog needs a fun place to stay, specialized handling, extra patience, or simply someone who genuinely understands and loves dogs, my goal is to provide a safe, enriching, and low-stress environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for like one of my own. As a stay-at-home mom, my daily routine allows me to spend a significant amount of time at home, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My dogs are an important part of our family's daily life, and caring for animals is already built into my routine. Each day includes feeding, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment activities, grooming as needed, and plenty of affection. Because I live on 10 acres, there is ample space for walks, exploration, and outdoor time, all while being carefully supervised. I also make it a priority to monitor each dog's behavior, comfort level, and overall well-being so I can adapt activities to their individual needs and personality. Whether your dog is energetic and loves to play, enjoys exploring outdoors, or prefers relaxing and receiving attention, I strive to provide a safe, structured, and low-stress environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. Since I am home throughout the day, your pet will not be left alone for long periods and will receive the same level of attention and care that I give my own dogs. The safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care are always my highest priorities. Before accepting a booking, I take the time to learn about each dog's personality, routine, temperament, medical needs, and any behavioral concerns so I can provide care tailored specifically to them. At my home, dogs enjoy a spacious country setting on 10 acres. In addition to the large property, I have secure fenced areas available for supervised outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. Dogs are never left outdoors unattended, and I closely monitor all interactions between pets to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. Because of my professional background in grooming, training, fostering, and canine behavior, I pay close attention to body language and behavior at all times. I am highly skilled at recognizing early signs of stress, anxiety, fear, overstimulation, or conflict and can make adjustments before situations escalate. New dogs are introduced thoughtfully and at a pace appropriate for their comfort level. I understand that not every dog enjoys socializing with other dogs, and some pets may be more comfortable having their own space. For this reason, I have the ability to safely separate dogs when needed and can accommodate dogs that prefer limited interaction, require individual attention, need separate feeding arrangements, or simply do better in a quieter environment. My goal is always to set each dog up for success based on their individual needs rather than expecting every dog to fit the same routine. I maintain fresh water at all times, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and take precautions to ensure dogs cannot access anything unsafe. I am also trained in canine CPR and first aid, providing owners with additional peace of mind that their pets are in knowledgeable and capable hands. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Consistency helps reduce stress and allows pets to feel secure in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, household rules, and special needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and receiving excellent care. Every dog is unique, and my goal is always to create a safe, structured, low-stress environment where they feel comfortable, respected, and cared for like one of my own.
“Princess and Max are superb - they sent pictures everyday and update us on our girl’ potty and eating every single day! It makes our away time so much more enjoyable with mind at ease!”

“Camilla was the best Rover we have had! I truly felt like our dog Timu was on vacation while we were! She was so attentive to Timu with walks and adventures and she kept me updated with photos and updates every step of the way. If we leave town again or need a day stay I would absolutely use Camilla again. Highly recommend!”

She gets along with most dogs. And will be a great playmate!
“Thomas took care of our senior doggo Amara for a weekend while we were in town for a wedding. She got to hang out with him and his family while enjoying the backyard. Would definitely book with Thomas again if we're in the area!”

“MiLana was great in caring for my dog. Juniper isn’t used to having a ton of dogs around, but MiLana sent pictures when I asked and reassured me Juniper was okay! She was also extremely flexible with pick up and drop off. Thank you for the help and constant communication!”

“Angie was great, very communicative and caring with my dog Nellie. I received texts and pictures every day. My dog is a moody, pathetic old girl who decided to be sad the entire time with Angie and her family. They pulled out treats, took her on walks and provided lots of snuggles. Any other dog would have had a party and would not have wanted to go home. Thanks for taking care of my drama dog!!! Would highly recommend!”

About: I've worked with animals my whole life. From rescuing wild animals to domestic animals. I have experience with bathing dogs and cats. I have also cared for senior animals as well. I can pick up, walk, bathe, drive to appointments as well as any other needs you may have. I have a daughter who shares my love of animals as well as 2 cats who live in my home. I can shelter animals in my home for a short amount of time as I have an apartment which may be too small for some breeds. I walk take dogs for a walk every 2 hours or more depending on their needs. “Myah was punctual and very conscientious about taking care of our cats. She even called with a concern she had (which turned out to be not a problem, but she was concerned). I highly recommend Myah for pet sitting!”

About: I have owned and cared for animals my entire life. I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies and some livestock animals. Dogs are my favorite and I have had the most experience owning and caring for them. I’m experienced with all different kinds of breeds, temperament and age dogs. I always care for them like I would my own animals (spoiled! Lol). I am currently not accepting animals in my home but am happy to do drop ins, walks and house sitting. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I am almost always home and pay attention to cues that dogs need attention or to the go outside. I have one dog who is treated like a family and spoiled like a prince. Animals are allowed on the couch and to sleep in bed if you desire. There is always plenty of fresh water, treats, toys and room to play.

About: I've owned cats and dogs my whole life. Our current cats are brother and sister that turned 7 this past April. They were feral as kittens and now they are the most social, loving, and easy going cats. Both still have their wildness about them with being indoor outdoor cats. Out exploring during day, coming back in for afternoon naps and night time lock down.

“Alexis is the best pet sitter we’ve ever worked with. She was great with out cats…even the shy one warmed up to her. We didn’t worry for a moment. Her updates were timely and thoughtful. We would happily work with her again and again.”

“Angelia was professional, friendly and down to earth from our first meeting with our cats. She patiently listened to me explain our "To Do" list and asked follow up questions. Our kitties met her and seemed very comfortable with her right away! Angelia's check ins were detailed with comments and several cute pics of our felines. She spent the full 30 minutes on each visit and we returned home to 2 happy cats! We highly recommend Angelia and will be comfortable with her cat sitting for us in the future!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was little, I have 4 cats at the moment. Cats are such interesting little creatures. They can be so curious and outgoing and yet other cats are not and tend to be more settled into their daily rnr and reserved. The cats we were able to rescue were feral and overbreeding constantly where we found them. We got the one female fixed recently and actually my landlord and friend was willing to adopt her to spoil her as she really wants to be an inside feline. Our four other cats live out on our farm operating as mouse security patrol, and they have done an excellent job and have room to explore on our acreage.

“Oliver is a gem! I couldn’t have been luckier to find such a perfect sitter and human. He is kind, genuine, attentive, my dog and cat LOVE him. Lots of detailed updates with pictures during the day, very communicative, professional, and timely. I am at ease knowing my fur family is in Oliver’s care! Highly recommend!”

“Michele did a fantastic job with her drop in visits with our cats. Sent photos and made sure they had everything they needed before ending the visit. Would recommend having Michele care for your pets in the future.”

“Diego did a phenomenal job with our 3 cats while we were on a weekend trip! He sent updates and pictures on every visit and we could tell our kitties had a great time! They were happy and relaxed when we got home.”
About: I’ve taken early retirement and have a lot of time in my hands. I have been pet sitting for a client with four dogs, a chihuahua , two frenchies and occasionally a German shepherd in their home. I cook their food, and I am a great housecleaner so your space will be nice when you come back home. I will take loving care of your cat or dog, only one pet at a time unless they are from the same household. I do not have any pets of my own at this time, which allows me flexibility in my schedule to be able to pet sit. I look forward to taking care of your fur baby. I took early retirement, so I will be home with the pet all day and night for whatever is needed. I have experience with senior dogs and frenchies. I am clean and considerate and love to spend time with animals. Your pet will receive personal attention and care with affection. I look forward to taking care of your pets.

“Prin and Max are such sweet and caring people! Chelsea stayed with them for the day until after dinnertime while we celebrated my birthday. She was calm and happy when we picked her up. Chelsea has separation anxiety and is an older chihuahua so we don't generally leave her alone. It is really great to find some kind & caring local people to take care of her when we can't be with her. Highly recommend them & so glad to have them on our team! We will definitely be using them again.”

About: I’ve taken care of and loved animals my whole life. About 14 years ago though I went through the training myself to get my own dog trained and certified as a medical alert service animal and canine good citizen. I’ve continued my training journey ever since. 13 years ago I began my own dog daycare, walk and train in Fort Bragg Ca. 12 years ago we moved to Stockton Ca. where Good News Dogs thrived for 7 years. Specializing in pack walks, working dog exercise programs, balanced behavior tactics, safe socialization, basic obedience, boundary training and human pack leadership skills. I’m pleased to be back in Mendocino County and offering dog/cat sitting, dog walking and training. Let me know how I can help. I’m currently working other jobs but still have availability weekends and various hours during the week, we can find a time schedule wise that works for us all. I will care for your pet according to each pet’s specific needs and your instructions. Extra exercise, play time and I can crate them nightly if needed with an early morning release and first walk guarantee. I truly love animals and absolutely devote myself to their care and safety.

About: I have 10+ years of experience caring for and owning dogs, cats, iguanas, tortoises, and chickens, etc. ranging from high energy Doberman puppies to senior Staffordshire Bull Terrier dogs where daily medication was needed. Currently I own a Great Pyrenees named Winter. I have a range of experience with different animals and I'm always willing to learn more. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to check in, walk, or play with your pet. I'm available Monday through Sunday. I live in a 4 dog, 2 cat household. Our dogs are all crate trained. We have 1 Great Pyrenees, 2 Pitbulls, 1 McNabb mix and 2 cats. All get along great and play well with each other. They all get taken on daily walks since we have no fenced in yard. Everyone happy, healthy and loved.

About: I have two medium-large (60+ pound) poodles, so I’m used to wrangling larger dogs. Also, I’m pretty firm about walking dogs on leash for their protection. I work from home as a freelancer and set my own schedule, so I’ve got as much or as little time as I want to spend caring for pets. I like to learn about a pet’s preferences and approach them with care to build trust. At my own home I have a fenced yard and two energetic dogs to romp around with.

About: I have always had dogs in my life, I grew up on a ranch with an assortment of different breeds and sizes. I have two pups of my own, Goose is our Mastiff/St. Bernard puppy and Lady is my German Shepherd. They are both rescues, super energetic (but they also will leave other dogs alone if the dog doesn’t want to play), they love every dog under the sun. Growing up I have always had the joy of watching friends, family, and neighbors furry friends. When dogs stay with me you can expect they will have a great time, they have a giant yard/pool to run and play on and in, we also go on hikes in the forest or to the Lake, frequent trips to the park, and of course they will love to explore all that Mendocino County has to offer. What can I say, I love dogs and enjoy spending everyday taking care of them :) I hope to be the dog sitter for you I am a stay at home mom with my two kids, so it is very rare the pups are ever left alone. The only time I leave the house is to pick up my son from preschool 10 min down the road. Our back yard is completely fenced and I have two very friendly dogs that they will get to play with. I treat all dogs like my own so they always get the best care possible.
About: I’ve fostered and taken care of 33 different dogs through the Humane Society since I was 10, Including Puppies under a year old and senior dogs over 10+ I’m not currently taking any College Classes so there will be lots of time in the day to walk pups. I figure with my experience with dogs this will be a good way to make some extra money on the side. When it comes to walking dogs I make sure they are leashed and harnessed correctly, getting enough exercise for the day out of the walk. If needed, they’ll get any necessary training during walks, and of course have access to water.

“Angelia was awesome with our dogs! She stopped by the house twice while we were away for the weekend and made sure the dogs had plenty of food and water and took them out for nice long walks. She was an excellent communicator and we look forward to booking Angelia in the future. Thank you!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. Never had a dog not like me. The property is fully fenced 6 acres for your pups to run and play on! I have a very open schedule currently. I have plenty of time to play with, and care for guest pups. My schedule is picking up and dropping of kids:) We have a huge 6 acre fenced yard. Our dog is a big, sweet, female. She gets along with most dogs. And will be a great playmate!
“Thomas took care of our senior doggo Amara for a weekend while we were in town for a wedding. She got to hang out with him and his family while enjoying the backyard. Would definitely book with Thomas again if we're in the area!”

I have a fully fenced in front yard thats quite large as well as an unfenced portion where I can walk dogs on leash
