“Charles loves going over to Mario’s! He’s always well rested and enjoys sunbathing in Mario’s back yard. I get up to date photos of my precious boy when I’m gone; which eases my anxiety!”

“Really appreciate Cooper & Nora! They kept us updated and were honest about how our girl was doing. Very nice people that have created a great environment for our dog.”

“My Teddy Bear enjoyed his stay at Amber's house! He had a ball running around in her big, fenced in backyard and playing with her two girls! Teddy also enjoyed a nature walk! Amber's home is comfortable and she provided a very nice stay for my pup. She even gave me fresh eggs from her chickens! I highly recommend Amber and would not hesitate to use her again!”

“jacquelyn was great! dropped my dog off to her for the weekend and received multiple updates each day. especially appreciated the photos and videos! when i picked up my dog he seemed to have had a good time ˙ᵕ˙”

“Todd and Rona did an amazing job with Philly! They cared for him like he was their own pup. We had a great experience from our meet and greet to drop off and pick up. Philly got along great with the other dogs there too, and loved their backyard. He came home tired and happy which was perfect. I would highly recommend them as sitters and know we will rebook with them when we’re in the area in the future.”

“Deandra and her family took wonderful care of my 5 month old puppy over the holidays. Charlie stayed with Deandra for 10 days and was given so much care and attention. She loved playing with their dog in the front yard, which was great socialization and tuckered Charlie out! Deandra sent daily updates which made me feel comforted to leave her for an extended timeframe. I highly recommend Deandra and plan to book her again!”

“Sandra is a wonderful care giver for my furry buddy!! Mr. Bubs was loved, spoiled, and treated like he is family. Sandra sent me pics while I was on my trip, and it was obvious he was having a great time! I highly recommend Sandra, and she's top of my list for next time I need to have my puppies taken care of while I'm out of town!”

“Catherine took care of my senior dog Lovie this weekend while I was out of town for a funeral. She immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my little girl with her during this emotional time. She sent me pictures while I was gone, of my doggie on a walk and also of her sleeping peacefully. I would absolutely use her services again and will the next time I need it. I highly recommend her.”

“Our fur babies stayed with Alexandra and Billy during our vacation in Santa Barbara. They were very accommodating during our time there. We were able to pick our pups, spend time with them and drop them off again. Our pups were happy and well taken care of. We will definitely contact them again on future visits to the area.”

“Taryn was the perfect sitter that we needed for our Charlie. We needed someone that would give our dog the closest love & attention that we give too. Our regular sitter that we use from Rover wasn't available. Taryn had the perfect house & yard and provided us with updates & pics of Charlie while she was there. We felt assured & pleased knowing that Taryn loved & cared for Charlie as if it were her own dog. We also felt at ease knowing that we could contact Taryn anytime and that she had the flexibility to take care of Charlie. We knew that Charlie was safe and allowed to keep her routines that she would at home. We will definitely use Taryn in the future and recommend her to anyone. This has been a VERY positive experience (yet again) with Rover and we are so happy that we found Taryn.”

“Great experience with Yulia and her family. This was my first time using Rover and the standard has been set super high thanks to Yulia. Leo had a wonderful time and I’m glad he stayed at Yulia’s. Thank you for taking such great care of him.”

“Jen and Stephanie were amazing with my Jack Russell. The space for the dogs outside is super secure and both Jen and Stephanie are so sweet with my pup. He’s a typical Jack Russell and his energy is unmatched- when I picked him up he was happy and cheerful like he was on vacation there :). Will def have Vincent stay with Jen and Stephanie again. Ten out of ten”

“I give Sara 10 stars. Read the other positive reviews. They are all true. Kiki-Sweet Girl has special needs. Sara keeps her feeling so happy and feeling safe. We did a sample one-night boarding and are continuing with weekly recurring daycare and with multiple night boarding when we travel. Kiki loves Sara so much. Kiki also loves Sara's pup, Casper. No only does Sara do magic with communications with dogs and people, but she has exceptional skills in getting doggies to listen to her and to try their best for her. You will not be disappointed if you get Sara to be one of your dog's special people.”

I know that cats thrive on routine, so I take great care in maintaining their feeding, play, and nap schedules. About: Animals are my passion. I cared for my beloved Parson Russell Terrier, Milo, from 2000 to 2015, and he’s the reason I fell in love with caring for all animals. That love led me to volunteer at the Berkeley Humane Society as a cat companion in 2014, and later at the Santa Cruz SPCA as a dog walker from 2024 to 2025. I’ve also transported rescued animals—most memorably a German Shepherd from NYC to his forever home in Florida—and have cared for friends’ and family’s pets for many years. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’m fully committed to providing exceptional, reliable, and compassionate care for yours. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, your pet will be treated like family. I follow your pet’s established routine—feeding, walking, medication, and comfort—and during extended stays, I’m happy to water plants, collect mail, and keep your home tidy. My mission is simple: to care for your pets with genuine love, respect, and dependability. I work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the week for you and your pet. My background in customer service has taught me the importance of reliability, communication, and attention to detail—qualities I bring to every pet care visit. I provide reliable, compassionate care that keeps your pet comfortable and secure in their own home. I follow their regular routine, prioritize safety, and care for them with the same attention and love I would give my own pets.
About: Need someone to care for your fur baby? I’m your person! Certified in giving love, belly rubs, and compliments like “who’s the best dog ever?” (spoiler alert, it’s yours). I’ve spent over eight years working hands-on with animals, from volunteering at humane societies and rescues to caring for pets in boarding, daycare, and grooming. I may be a retired groomer, but my soft spot for clean paws and wagging tails is forever. Whether your pup is shy, sassy, or a total goofball, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and completely adored. Animals have always been my world, and I truly believe nothing beats that tail-wagging, pure-love greeting when you walk through the door. I’ll treat your pets like family, the kind of family that gets spoiled and praised all day long. Pet care fits into my day the same way coffee does… it’s a must! I love starting and ending my days with wagging tails, happy paws, and a few goofy zoomies. My schedule’s flexible, so I plan everything around walks, meals, cuddles, and playtime. Basically, if your pet’s happy, my day’s already a win. Keeping your pets happy and safe is my full-time mission. I follow all your instructions like a pro, from meals to walks to any special care your furry friends need. I bring plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and unsolicited affirmations so your pets feel loved, spoiled, and totally in charge while you’re away. Basically, I make sure they have the best day ever, every day.

“Mariana and Mark were so great! We needed a local option to be with Zoey when our usual care wasn’t available, and was pleasantly at ease meeting the two of them. Mariana offered a meet & greet ahead of our daycare date and Zoey loved the space and toys they had. They are thorough, responded very quickly, and we felt comfortable leaving Zoey with them.”

“Melissa was kind and welcoming. I have a senior dog who is going blind and deaf. Who also gets separation anxiety, he was a service dog for 17 years, now retired. He’s lost as how to be a regular dog at this age, so he can be needy. She did great with him.”

“My husband and I were visiting Ventura and in desperate need of a sitter for my dog. Chelsey was super professional, positive and very sweet. My baby was happy when I picked him up. I definitely will bring my dog back. Thank you Chelsey.”

“Deandra was amazing with our puppy Kiwi! She was quick to respond, offered a meet and greet, have updates throughout the day and her dog Raja was really sweet and gentle with my high energy pup as well. Highly recommend!!”

“Sara saved our trip! We were camping in the area and planned a day out at the Channel Islands NP (not dog-friendly). Our original doggy sitter canceled on us two days before and we scrambled to find someone last minute. It was a blessing in disguise. Sara is the absolute sweetest! Communication was excellent. She updated us throughout the day with photos and kept our girl busy with playtime, a walk, and a hike. She was able to administer medication too. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you, Sara!”

“Our pup has stayed with Kay a few times now and we've already scheduled some more visits. Kay is very patient and kind. She is also very accomodating. Vaughan gets to walk and play in the yard and comes home tired and happy. Thanks Kay!”

“Alexandra and Billy were wonderful! We felt completely secure leaving our Dobie with them. They made him feel right at home and took him on fun walks and adventures. I would highly recommend Alexandra and Billy to anyone looking for a safe and reliable place where their fur baby will be loved and very well cared for. We look forward to reaching out to them again when we’re back in the area! 🐾”

“Thank you Jessica! As always our young high energy dog has a blast at Jessica's and plays with her dog Luma. Our dog needs a lot of supervision and Jessica has a great level of care and experience that is evident in every visit. She sends photos and updates, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!”

“Kelsey is my #1 go-to dog sitter. My clingy heeler is always so excited to visit her. He can smell her neighborhood from out of the window and he starts barking on our way down the street to her house. She is understanding, flexible, kind, and she genuinely loves dogs. She also understands heelers and herding breeds, which is a huge plus in my book. 100000% recommend her. I'm a paranoid dog owner and I'm very selective about all of the choices I make for him. I'm always at ease knowing he is with her.”

I am able to come to your home as a drop in, or stay in your home while you are away. I do not board in my home due to aggressive pets of my own.

“Mike was on time and courteous, and most importantly, developed an instant rapport with my skittish shepherd. He was great at handling her when she tried to bark at a little dog, and got her under control without being harsh. I feel good about him walking her alone.”

“Misty and her family took excellent care of Greta. I would definitely recommend and have complete confidence with Greta staying over in the future. The daily photos were great and added to our confidence and comfort.”

“Really appreciate Cooper & Nora! They kept us updated and were honest about how our girl was doing. Very nice people that have created a great environment for our dog.”

About: Dog training is included. Kurt B. (CPDT-KSA, APDT) is a certified professional dog trainer, who takes videos of the training he does while your dog is in his care. He follows a forcefree teaching method to teach new behaviors. Step-by-step. Errorless. We are not equipped for non social or dog reactive dogs. Please contact ahead of time to schedule free meet and greet and behavior consultation. I work full time as a professional dog trainer at my home. My life is centered around caring for and teaching dogs and the humans that love and teach them. I have a six foot fence with in a larger 6 ft perimeter fence. We have double gates at every entrance. Dogs can free roam. Dogs eat in crates and get rest periods in crates if need be. Dogs need to be able to handle being in a crate for certain periods. Especially if they don't settle down at night and are destructive. But otherwise they are free range.

“Sheena took such good care of Mango. She went above and beyond most Rover hosts we have asked to take care of Mango in the past. She sent us so many videos and photos of Mango to us. Our Mango loved her kids and really enjoyed her time with them. In addition, it was a rainy day and Sheena washed and dried Mango’s sweater and also made sure Mango was dry from the rain. Would highly recommend and would book again.”

About: We are a pet-centered family. Fur babies have been at the heart of our home for over 20 years. We've rescued dogs and cats across various stages of life, some with special needs, and loved them well into their senior years. We provide personalized care, tailored to the specific needs of your pet. Whether it's adhering to the dietary requirements of their meals, administering medication, or modifying walks and play to accommodate any physical limitations or developmental needs. We’re conveniently located near 101, making for an easy drop off and pickup. Animals of all types tend to gravitate to me. I'm patient and playful. If they just need a calm presence to cuddle with or a buddy to play fetch and get their zoomies out, I adapt to the needs of your pet. Our home is filled to the brim with a love for pets and their care. My wife leads a community for pet parents and my daughter is a future vet who makes every animal she meets her best friend and desires to rescue as many she can. I'm a retired engineer and my wife works from home. Pets are family and our schedules are adjusted accordingly to ensure they are not alone. I love nature and giving pets the opportunity to relax and play where they feel the most comfortable. We can walk the park grounds right outside our door, relax on the deck, or snuggle on the couch. We can also hop in the Jeep and go exploring if they prefer. Every pet is different and my goal is to always meet them right where they are.
“We had a wonderful experience booking with Kalia. She was always quick to respond to booking requests, messages, and was very understanding when we had to cancel a different booking due to a change in plans. She sent regular updates and pictures of our boy and I could tell he was having a great visit with her and her two goldens. She put our mind at ease as this was our first time booking through Rover. We had used boarding facilities in the past and our boy would come back overstimulated and often with tummy issues, but it was not the case when he stayed with Kalia. We will definitely book with her again next time!”

“They were awesome, and I mean AWESOME! Nice safe space, fenced in yard, quiet neighborhood. I felt guilty taking back my dog from their kids, I could tell they gave my Ziggy so much love, and didn't want him to go even. Wonderful family, I will be back for sure.”

“Marc took excellent care of our dog. We had a last minute cancellation with a different dog sitter but Marc came to our rescue. His communication was great and overall we are happy customers. 2 paws up!”

“Jody is so sweet and took such good care of Koda. He got lots of love from her and her family. When we picked him up he seemed like he didn’t even want to go home, he was enjoying it so much. She even washed his doggie bed.♥️ Jody’s location is perfect for us since we need to pass her house on the way to the airport. We will definitely choose Jody again to take care of our Koda.”

“I had zero concerns having Bax stay with Matt and Stefanie. He was safe, having fun, and well-looked after. They treat your pet as if they are one of their own. Will absolutely be using their services again!”
