One of the reasons why I initially chose Sara, was the experience she listed as working in a veterinary's office and the fact that she put together a very thorough bio describing her background in working with animals. “We had such a great experience with Frenchie. We discovered last minute that the music event we were attending didn’t allow dogs and we had planned on bringing them. A friend suggested Rover as a solution to get a pet sitter. We were able to book Frenchie and we were grateful but we’re still concerned about having a sitter because one of our dogs in a recent rescue with separation anxiety. About: I've taken care of dogs in some capacity since I was young. Everything from overnight/multi-day boarding, month long, and walks for young dogs and old dogs. I grew up with a dog of mine own who was deaf so have experience with challenging dogs as well. My husband also has lived with dogs (hunting labs) his entire life. My husband and I just moved from Chicago to the Central Coast. I working full-time remote from home so am very flexible with walks and care. The most I might be out of the home during the week is 2-3 hours and on the weekend maybe 5-6 (but can be flexible in limiting that if a dog is staying with us). We have a small fenced in deck on our and then a larger outdoor space. We live in an easily walkable neighborhood and about a mile away from a dog park.

I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. About: Greetings, I have grown up with 2-3 dogs my whole life, many of which have had health issues. I am comfortable with any type of dog and his/her accommodations. I have also pet sat for many animals, dogs included. I love being outside and would take your loved pets on walks or runs if they were in my care unless the owner asked otherwise. They would have constant access to water, food when owner specifies, and many parks and an outside yard to go to the bathroom. I believe in frequent bathroom breaks, constant attention, play, and naps. I am available after 12 am on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am available after 10 am. I’m dependable, organized, patient, and respectful of other people’s homes. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, litter-box instructions, and any special requests. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention while they are away. I work remotely Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., which allows me to be home with your pet throughout the day. I can provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, companionship, and supervision while still maintaining their normal routine. Because I’m home during the workday, your pet will not be left alone for long periods. I’m also available for overnight care, evenings, and weekends, depending on my schedule. I live in a quiet neighborhood with several safe and enjoyable walking routes nearby. My two-bedroom apartment provides a calm, comfortable environment, and I have a fenced back patio that is perfect for supervised sunbathing, fresh air, and naps. My home also has air conditioning to keep pets comfortable during warmer weather, and there are multiple parks less than five minutes away for walks and outdoor time. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication directions, household rules, and any special care needs. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, I prioritize safety, consistency, cleanliness, and regular communication. About: I have had a dog since I was 8, but I have always been surrounded by various animals. I have taken care of not only my own dog but also those belonging to my family and neighbors, gaining valuable experience in the process. I attended all of my dog's puppy training classes and learned from the trainer how to teach her numerous tricks. Additionally, I have assisted my friends in training their puppies to acquire essential skills and even taught them a few tricks, such as rolling over. Moreover, I volunteered at Animal Assisted Happiness, where I provided care for a variety of animals, including bunnies, goats, chickens, horses, and more. I currently work part-time, which allows me some flexibility to take care of your dogs. My availability includes all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but it may vary from week to week, but I am usually able to accommodate your needs. Taking walks is a favorite activity of mine, and I'll ensure your dog gets plenty of outdoor time and opportunities to explore with long sniffs during our walks. Keeping their hydration in mind, I always make sure the water bowl is filled. Additionally, I prioritize their comfort by providing timely potty breaks and opportunities to go outside as needed.
About: I haven't taken care of dogs, but I do and have had plenty of my own. So I have been relied on to feed, bathe, and take care if them while my parents are busy or have some where to go. I am currently on summer break, while taking a college course and going back and forth from my school and home for JROTC activities and meetings that I have. Sometimes I'll accompany my parents at work but since it's summer break I'll have lots of spare time to walk and play with your pets!! I get along with dogs pretty well and enjoy playing with them and walking them around a while. I do have two other dogs at home but they are very nice and friendly!

About: I have always been around animals, whether that is cats or dogs. I enjoy house sitting and would love to help anyone that needs a sitter/ walker!
