“I contacted Matthew at the very last minute to see if he could board my dog starting that very same day - 3 hours notice. My husband and I were at a pet friendly vrbo with our two dogs and found out that they would only allow one. He got back to me right away and was able to accommodate me. He and his partner took in our rambunctious rescue Dachshund Hans and took excellent care of him all weekend. Hans has high energy and separation anxiety and they were undaunted by that. They have a lovely home with a big back yard and two adorable dogs of their own who were great playmates. Photos they sent showed fun times and some good cuddling with the humans. I can't recommend these gents enough and will always get in touch with them when we come to the Palm Springs area with our pooches.”

“Cesar is amazing!! He took care of my three cats while we were out of town for our wedding, over the past 9 days our kitties were in great care with Cesar’s drop in visits! He went above and beyond our expectations. Truly kept the litter boxes clean and swept around them! He changed their food and water and made sure they were safe! Cesar is trust worthy and respectful! He kept us updated throughout the whole process, sending us lots of loving photos and even keeping us updated on the weather! He is soo kind and truly loves animals, we have gold fish here too, even thou we were feeding them pebbles with the automatic feeder he noticed the fish and added some bounce flacks when he visited (out of the kindness of his heart). SO NICE! If you are looking for someone to care for your pets, I HIGHLY recommend Cesar he is very knowledgeable and caring, he followed every step I gave him and went beyond that. He even offered to have a free meet and great so the animals could get to know him! SO THOUGHTFUL. unfortunately my tight schedule wouldn’t allow it but, it’s the thought he puts in that counts! About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. About: I've been caring for pets for over 10 years, and it's genuinely one of my favorite things to do. In that time, I've looked after just about every kind of animal you can think of — dogs and cats of all ages, puppies, seniors, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and more. The only ones I haven't worked with are horses! I'm comfortable with medication administration (pills, liquids, eye drops, injections), special needs care, and adapting routines for pets who need a little extra patience. I've cared for rescue dogs still learning to trust people, helped a senior dog through a UTI by spotting the symptoms early and coordinating with the owner, and stayed calm when a dog in my care was unexpectedly attacked by another dog on a walk — I got him to the vet quickly and he made a full recovery. I don't have pets of my own right now, but on most days I'm out walking, feeding, or hanging out with someone else's. Your pet will get attentive care, plenty of affection, and an honest set of eyes on how they're doing day to day. If you need your dogs walked Monday through Friday, I will gladly try to accommodate my schedule for you. Happy to help on the weekends if I can! I do my best to make your pets feel comfortable with me and treat them with kindness. I believe in being patient with the pets I look after.

However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

I also helped in my mother's care who had muscular dystrophy and my father, who had dementia. I'm a semi-retired entertainment publicist who spent the last 18 years in Los Angeles. After being a part-time resident in PALM SPRINGS since 2008, I'm now a full-time resident that truly loves the desert and no remorse from leaving LA. About: I can address the unique requirements of large and small breed dogs. I provide specialized care for senior and advanced senior dogs, ensuring their golden years are comfortable and healthy. I work full-time but seasonally at a large local hotel and my hours vary. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around calendar based obstacles. I find that most animals actually like to stay in their own yard, but if need be, I do have decent sized back yard and it is secured by brick walls / concrete barriers.

About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I love all creatures and will pamper your pup! I know how important it is for dogs to feel safe and cared for while their owners are away and will give your dog all the love and attention it needs! I have a very flexible schedule which allows me plenty of time to spend taking care of your pet. When I do work, it's only for a few hours at a time, so I can stick with your dog's routine for eating and walking and such. I have a fenced yard with a bit of grass and one small senior dog who gets along with dogs and cats. I don't mind dogs on the couch and we have a cute park down the road for walks and outside play time.
