About: My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby. I didn’t own my own dog until I met Buddy and we have since then been inseparable. We go to the dog park every single day to play with all the other loving dogs. I’m currently working from home and am very flexible. Can take your pets for a walk and play with them outside or inside. They will be loved. I am proactive and will encourage the pups to run around outside, play fetch, and wrestle each other. Buddy would love more friends to play with.

“Although my daughter's service dog goes with us everywhere, we decided it was best to leave him in capable hands while we enjoyed a tip to the Living Desert near Palm Springs, CA. Nuvea was available last minute to care for Huckleberry in her home. He enjoyed a play date with a few fellow canines and a cat. Nuvea was able to accommodate treat time and dinner for him and excursions in her backyard. When we returned Huckleberry was happy and ready to resume his care for his girl. About: Hi, I’m Claire. I’m a lifelong animal lover, artist, and plant nursery owner based here in Twentynine Palms. I live out in Wonder Valley where I have a fenced yard with room to run, and a temperature controlled indoor area for dogs to hang out in. I’ve spent over 15 years dog walking and pet sitting, but my experience goes way beyond the standard routine. In 2018 I spent a summer living in a tent on the Denver Glacier above Skagway, Alaska, working as a dog handler and photographer for a sled dog expedition company geared towards providing excursions to cruise ship tourists. Managing teams of energetic Alaskan huskies in extreme weather taught me how to read canine body language instantly, manage energy levels, and keep anxious or excited dogs calm and safe. At home in the desert, I put that same deep understanding to use. I currently share my life with Gus (a mellow 6-year-old terrier mix) and Luna (a high-energy 2-year-old shepherd mix), and spent 14 beautiful years with my soul dog, Butters before he passed away at 17 in 2023. I’m just as comfortable with high-drive working breeds as I am with senior couch potatoes. Beyond dogs, I have extensive experience caring for cats, small mammals, reptiles, exotic birds, fish, and farm animals like chickens, goats, and rabbits. Because I run my own plant nursery and love household care, I'll keep your plants thriving and leave your home sparkling clean during any housesitting. In a client’s home I tend to play it safer with the furniture, unless I’m told they are allowed on it, I try to maintain the most well kept home and provide any exercise and entertainment outdoors, being mindful of the heat and keeping them hydrated during hotter seasons!

About: I have taken care of both domestic and exotic animals all my life. I have lived in mostly farm lands. I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! Whether you have an easy to handle pet or one that is a little more difficult. I have the experience and patience for it all. Currently, I work from home. I also clean houses. My schedule is never really set in stone so I’m very flexible . I am also able to do same day sometimes depending on what I have going on that day! I will not just be checking in on your pet ! If I come in and happen to see your pet had an accident. I will let you know and I will also clean it up for you! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.
About: I have helped professionals in the veterinary field groom and train animals. I have also been pet sitting for family and have had many pets throughout my life! I am currently a part-time student at Copper Mountain College, and work weekends at Hi-Desert Tails. I have a bit of free time as I have online classes! About: I have had larger dogs my entire life and have pet sat for family for about 4 years. I love animals and am willing to work with dogs who may need extra help! I am currently a full time student at SUU and a part time employee. I’m willing to work with your schedule as long as your willing to work with mine! I respect the clients home, boundaries, and rules with their pets. About: I have always had dogs in my home, up until a few months ago. I have worked at an animal shelter and have experience with shelter animals (dogs and cats) with walking, medicating, cleaning, grooming and socializing difficult animals. I have cared for older animals and younger animals and know what things to watch out for to ensure the safety of the animal is met. I am also currently volunteering at the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter. I am completely available 7 days a week! We have the ability to keep dogs separate from ours if needed.

My husband and I have a Australian Red healer named Arturo and he also loves other dogs but if yours doesn't that totally ok! I would love to come walk them around the neighborhood, watch them for the night or weekend or just check up and feed them if needed. About: My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby. I didn’t own my own dog until I met Buddy and we have since then been inseparable. We go to the dog park every single day to play with all the other loving dogs. I’m currently working from home and am very flexible. Can take your pets for a walk and play with them outside or inside. They will be loved. I am proactive and will encourage the pups to run around outside, play fetch, and wrestle each other.
