“We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again. About: I've always had a cat since I was 5 years old. While they don't usually require everything a dog does, I understand that every cat is different and each has its own personality. If your cat needs special attention, or is a cuddle and wants someone to pet or brush them 3× a day, I will happily do it. I also know some cats are the kind you just feed and don't want you to touch them, and I can respect their boundaries too.

About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

About: We have had dogs in our home our entire life. They are always a family member and treated with the best of love and care. I come from a family of breeders and a hunting and show dogs. Our seniors are loved and cared for savoring every last day. We have a ranch with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and explore as well as a huge dog run. We offer different places to keep them safe if running off leash is not the best for your baby. I am a self-employed realtor, who works from home. My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: After having a senior dog who couldn't be by himself for even 10 minutes, I understand how hard it can be when you can't make any plans, or take a vacation, because you are worried about your dog. I just want to help people who are in the same situation I was.. I am available nights, and weekends and holidays. Basically, all those times it is most difficult to find anyone to petsit-I can be there. For one afternoon or two weeks, whatever you need.. I am just trying to help pet parents out. I currently have a LGD dog, 1 cat that mostly is in my office and my amazing farm animals that i tend to daily. 1 horse, 3 goats and chickens! We are located just a ten minute drive from Lotus rafting, come drop off your animals before having fun! I work from home on my own schedule so im always free to leave and take care of the animals any time of the day. As well as take care of animals while working from home. I have 3 acres of land that is all fenced off as well as a fenced off front yard and backyard. I always have a friendly LGD that protects all the animals. I have a pet friendly home that has toys and a clean bed for whoever stays.

About: I've always had personal pets and have been the designated petsitter for my neighborhood since i was a child. About: I have been a volunteer trainer with the Sierra At Tahoe Avalanche Dogs since I was about 10. My father runs the dog program so I grew up being taught how to train, take care of, and watch over dogs since I was a toddler. At the ski mountain I helped drill the dogs to find subjects in the snow, played, walked, fed, took to the bathroom, and watched over the dogs ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My family also has three dogs and three cats all of I have assisted in training, and most of the time look after on my own. I recently left my job so I am open full time with my schedule to take part in pet care. On some days I do need to watch my own animals since my parents work full time, but even then I am always available for even just a check in if needed! I make sure my pets have a set in feeding time as well as they have a signal for bathroom breaks, even if they do not show me they need to go I will periodically let them outside or take them on a walk. Besides just food and bathroom I love to work on skills, tricks, and just playing with the dogs throughout the day as to make sure they are enriched and happy. These qualities go for all animals I may watch too! I pride myself in being able to recognize their behavior so I can adapt for them what they need or want!

About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. About: I have had animals since I was a young girl and was always responsible for caring for them in any way the family needed. I helped watch friends animals as well. I currently have animals of my own that I adore as much as my adult children :). They bring love and light into our home. I am a part time dental hygienist as well as an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice/ Forensics with plenty of flexibility. I am home full time doing school so my availability is open. I only pick up dental hygiene shifts as needed as I have been in the dental field 32 years. We have a a nice chunk of land with a fence and one dog to play with your furbaby her name is Shadow and she is so sweet and old, but still has energy for fun. We have a pond to wade in as well which is Shadows favorite thing to do. We are always keeping an eye on all of our animals and make sure they are safe and always have what they need. We also have 4 indoor kitties but they usually hide when company is around.

“We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again.
