What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. “I have to say, I was really nervous about boarding Wally for the first time but Ayman made the experience a breeze. She offered to come meet Wally prior to booking, we talked through his care, etc. When the day came, she took him and he made himself at home quickly. She provided updates daily, often with adorable photos and videos. While Wally was with Ayman, she had to evacute due to the fires and she assured me that Wally was safe and she would take him with her to a safe location. She made a potentially extremely stressuful experience completely stress free for me. Although I hope I never have to leave my boy for that long again, if I ever do I would trust Ayman, no questions asked. I would definitely recommend you book with her if you need a reliable and trustworthy person to look after your fur babies.”

About: I’ve been around cats since I was five years old, and one thing I’ve learned is that every cat has their own personality and their own way of showing trust. Some cats want cuddles the moment I walk through the door, some prefer to watch me from across the room, and some may decide that the closet is their favorite place to spend the day. I love that independence and I never expect a cat to interact with me before they’re ready. I let them set the pace and take the time to earn their trust. Most of my cat care is done in the cat’s own home, which I believe is often the most comfortable place for them. I’m happy to follow their normal routines, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playing, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company. If your cat prefers to hide, that’s okay too—I’ll respect their space while still making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve cared for cats with and without my dog, Chica. When she is with me, she generally has very little interest in cats, and cats usually have very little interest in her. They may briefly sniff each other when introduced, but I always respect their boundaries and keep their food and feeding areas separate. I’m careful about maintaining their individual routines so everyone can feel comfortable. Whether your cat is independent, playful, shy, curious, or extremely affectionate, I enjoy getting to know them on their terms. And while I absolutely respect the independent cat who wants nothing to do with me, I’ll never complain when a cat decides it’s time for cuddles. ❤️ To me, cats have a special kind of presence. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs. I feel time together and attention is what bonds both humans and dogs, and seeing them go from anxious and confused to a happy member of "the pack" is one of the more rewarding parts of taking care of them, so I prefer stays long or frequent enough for your pup to feel at home with me and in my home, but I'm also always willing to cover a tight spot or step in for a day of daycare. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for the entire day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take only up to three dogs at a time, and mostly for medium to long term boarding, so it's a calm environment without a ton of new dogs coming and going. I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, walks, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. My space is easily partitioned to allow dogs to eat, nap, or hang out alone in peace if that's what they prefer. I have a doggy door for dogs who like to let themselves in/out at their leisure. (it's about 50/50 whether they figure it out and make use of it lol) I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I don't generally use kennels or crates, but if your dog prefers or is used to using one, by all means bring it along. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture. I have found even "reactive" and "solitary" dogs very quickly acclimate to a more social environment (it usually only takes 3-4 hours) and I never leave them together unsupervised until they're demonstrating clear friendliness to each other. Many dog parents bring their pups over just for this kind of socialization, and it's great to watch a dog that "hates all other dogs" running and playing in the yard with the group after snarling at everyone just a few hours before.
