From the moment we met Merilu, she made us feel comfortable and reassured that Coco would be in good hands. Merilu and her family took exceptional care of Coco and truly treated her like one of their own. They happily accommodated all of our requests, including not using a cage and allowing Coco to sleep on the bed, which meant a lot to us since Coco has never been crated. About: I have been a cat lady my whole life. Most recently, my old man cat lived to the ripe age of 19, and I hope the two I have now will stay with me just as long. We view our pets as a part of the family. When your dog is staying with us, they will have daily walks and access to our enclosed yard for late night potties. If your dog likes to swim, they can also go for a swim in our pool in the summer. We allow dogs to roam and relax where they are comfortable to. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds here. I work from home 90% of the time, and my husband keeps a hybrid schedule. Therefore we are home most of the time. Your dog will always have a human and dog companion while staying with us. I work from home most of the time, while my husband keeps a hybrid schedule, which makes it easy for us to care for your pet 24/7. We live in a flat walkable neighborhood with sidewalks and street lights. We take our own dog on frequent walks, and occasionally to the dog run (like Baldwin or Newhall) or on longer hikes (like Lime Ridge). Our backyard is fenced, and so is our pool. We have a lush grass patch for pets to potty on. We have some stairs (no more than 3), but in general our home is one level. We have mostly wood floors with some carpet. Dogs are allowed on furniture and at the foot of beds here.

About: Hi everyone! I love all animals! Your pet and I will definitely have a great time together! I am trying to become a veterinarian in the future and this is a great start for me! I have a park that is a 5 minute walk from my house and I have a huge yard for any pet that likes outside activities. I can care for disabled pets and older pets as well. I have always wanted to live in a farm because of all the animals but this is close enough for me haha! I have a dog of my own and he will love the extra company and play time. I currently foster dogs through Copper's Dream Rescue, which has given me even more hands-on experience helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are away from their families. I'm also dog CPR and First Aid certified, so your pup's safety and well-being are always my top priorities. When your dog stays with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their individual routines, personalities, and needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone else, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup has a fun, safe, and loving stay! I’m a teacher, so I’m typically home by 3 PM on weekdays, and my husband works from home during the week. This means your dog will have plenty of companionship and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Our dogs get three walks a day, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and downtime. If your dog enjoys dog parks, we also have a nearby dog park that is suitable for dogs who enjoy socializing and getting some extra exercise in the evening. On weekends, we love taking our dogs on dog-friendly adventures, so boarding with us can include lots of fun activities and new experiences when appropriate for your dog.
