“Sophie, with a lifetime of experience taking care of dogs, was wonderful with our yellow Lab. Her home has an ample backyard area and is quite welcoming to dogs. Her Boston Terrier plays very nicely with others. Our Lab got lots of love and attention from Sophie, including regular walks in the low-traffic neighborhood near Dominican U. It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. She did so with our 4 year-old Lab.”

Lori & Frank treated my dogs like their own — they showered them with love and attention and took exceptional care of them. About: Growing up, I have always been around animals. I currently have a dog and two cats of my own that I love unconditionally. I have house sat for families with a variety of pets. About: I have cared for many pets in my life (a dog, cat, tortoise, 4 birds, 2 fish, and 9 hamsters to be exact) so my love for animals is a huge part of who I am! About: Animals have always been an immovable part of my life. I grew up on a small goat farm in northern california surrounded by llamas, ducks, geese, 3 beautiful cats, 6 dogs, and of course, goats. Through life on a farm, I have developed an immense love of all creatures, furred, feathered, and scaled. I have also had lots of experience caring for sick and injured animals. I have volunteered with both wild animals rescues, and the humane society. I'm currently in school, so my schedule allows me time in both the mornings and evenings to spend time with your wonderful pets. My weekends are also free. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

About: I currently have a chocolate point Siamese female nine year old cat with beautiful blue eyes. I don’t allow her around any dogs and she is always kept away in a separate room until the dog has left. I feel like cats are so special because they bring you so much unconditional love and affection and are so pretty and adorable. What’s their not to like? They really are angels on earth.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 7 years and genuinely love helping people who have busy schedules, long work days, or travel often. I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets while you’re away, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m patient, dependable, and experienced with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I also have a 2-year-old Goldendoodle of my own, so I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, happy, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and comfort, I always make sure every pet gets the care they deserve. I currently work part-time as a supervisor at Marinwood Pool, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week. I enjoy staying active, so walks, playtime, hikes, and giving pets attention fit naturally into my daily routine. I’m reliable, responsive, and always make sure pets get the care and companionship they need while their owners are busy or away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a friendly 2-year-old Goldendoodle of my own and a safe, welcoming home where pets are welcome to stay if needed. However, I usually prefer overnight stays at the owner’s home because I know many pets feel most comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, well cared for, and receive plenty of attention while you’re away.
About: I love being around these animals as they give so much. My family and I have raised 6 guide dog puppies annd three breeders, over the last 14 years. Right now I help take care of 3 dogs who have been or are still working for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I have multiple days a week free and would like to take care of more animals. I would love to help in the feeding walking or bringing to veterinary care of any animal who's owner finds it necessary to supplement their own time due to constraints. I'd see myself primarily in the role of exercising or being a daily companion to these animals

I'm available most days for dog sitting, walks or just drop in visits and would love to provide your pup with fun-filled, active days. My schedule is flexible and I'm happy to accommodate your specific needs, whether that means long walks, park visits, or just some quality cuddle time on the couch. I am available every day although my teenagers are with me Sunday through Wednesday. I may go out to do errands but can always change what I'm doing to meet your pets needs. Walks, overnights and everything in between are great on weekends. I live in a condo in the canal. We have plenty of outside space and use it frequently. There are plenty of dogs in the neighborhood and they can socialize at your discretion.

About: I have always loved animals. I have taken care of a lot of dogs and cats. I used to work at a lot of doggy daycare and I’ve worked at one vet clinic. “Veronica was great! Theo was happy to see me when I picked him up but he kept going back to the door when she was inside getting his bed :) to me this means he was sad to go. She sent pictures and videos during his stay. He found a great spot to hang out on the steps and had fun with the other dogs she was sitting. I would definitely bring him back for another stay and recommend her to anyone.”

Mollie is a rescue pup who takes time to warm up to new people and surroundings, but Julie and Adam did a great job making her comfortable and engaging Mollie in activities. We will be having Molly stay again with Julie and Adam as when we picked her up we could tell that Molly felt very much at home!”
“We got pictures of Saba on adventure hikes and playing with other dogs every other day - which we love to get when away. Saba is very social, so we were really happy that Jesse had daycare dogs or walking groups each day so she could play with dogs and get her energy out. She boarded at his house for 4 nights and came back exhausted, an owners dream. He has a backyard with play space which we actually went to see when we dropped her off. She did come back with a bit of a limp which we are assuming is from a lot of play time and didn’t eat her food like normal, which again could’ve been from missing us. We’re not looking into it, but make sure your dog is ready to play! Otherwise, his communication was great and was very quick to respond and adjust schedule if needed on our behalf. Will probably look into doing walks with him in future S well.”
