“Vanda is amazing and I would trust my dog and cat in her care again in the future! I am very grateful to have such a great experience for my first time booking on Rover. I highly recommend anyone to book with Vanda!”

“Julley was absolutely amazing! She was super communicative from the get-go and she pays attention to details. Marvel is usually picky about who she likes but she formed a connection with Julley instantly. Julley went the extra mile to take care of Marvel and I felt so comfortable having my fur baby in her hands. Julley was very responsive with her messages and pictures. She is a very capable sitter and was able to follow all my care instructions. We definitely look forward to booking with Julley again!”

“This was Santana's 2nd stay with Allison, Gordon and Moses. He was very happy and excited to see Allison when we arrived and soon went looking for his BFF, Moses. He's obviously gotten attached to this loving family. Allison was ready to greet Santana when we arrived and had his belongings all packed and ready to go at our appointed pick up time. I feel very much at ease leaving him in Allison & Gordon's care. They show a lot of love and caring to my little guy and are very professional and conscientious. Thank you Allison and Gordon for another great experience. You're the best!”

“David was great with Bear! During the meet and greet he showed where Bear would be staying and where he had access to roam around. He gave extra love and attention! Thank you again for your care!”

“Nathan took great care of Primo. Communication was easy from start to finish, and he sent regular updates with photos, which we really appreciated. Primo came home relaxed and happy, and it was clear he had been well looked after. We’d definitely book with Nathan again. Thanks!”

“Baiyu was an incredible sitter for Boogie! Excellent communication and check-ins, and even groomed him every night. Hugely appreciated the care and Boogie was ecstatic when I picked him up. Thank you!”

“Cynthia, Chi, and their family were amazing dog sitters! They were extremely attentive and accommodating to all of my dog’s (Summer’s) needs. They have their own goldens and were well aware of how to take care of mine very seamlessly. They also provided Summer with plenty of exercise, love, care, and attention which they were shared in several pictures and videos throughout each day. I would definitely recommend and look forward to Summer’s next stay when I travel out of town. Thank you again!”

“Yuko and Kazu are amazing dog sitters. I knew my dog, Mochi, was in good hands when they sent multiple updates on him everyday. He had such a great time at their home. When I picked him up, he was worn out from all the fun. Highly recommend them!”

“Eunjun was very responsive and flexible when helping watch my dog Toby. She was willing to pick up Toby at a friends house nearby as we were out of town, and also was open to us picking up Toby earlier than scheduled. Such a huge help to have someone responsible and caring watch our senior pup!”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. After losing my beloved dog earlier this year, I realized how much I miss having dogs in my daily life. I work in a pediatric dental office supporting children of all abilities. This experience has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to adapt to each individual's unique needs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routines, and comfort levels, and I will treat your pup with the same kindness, love and care I had for my own pet. Weekends are dedicated to spending time with your furry family members. I work mostly from Monday to Thursday but I'm available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Whether I care for your dog in my home or yours, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood, and I have parks near me, which allows me to provide regular exercise and outdoor time. As an active person, I enjoy taking dogs on walks and making sure they get plenty of attention. When caring for dogs in a client's home, I carefully follow their established routines, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions.
“Jillian and Fam were great! They boarded and cared for Cali for a week and we got regular updates and pics on how she was doing and all the walks they were taking. Jillian is super professional and incredibly responsive. Would recommend!”

“Pascal absolutely loved his stay and came home worn out from playing and snuggling! We got lots of updates and felt good knowing Pascal was in absolutely fantastic hands! 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“My dogs’ stay with Derrick was excellent in every way. He is caring, enthusiastic, and the dogs clearly loved him and his dog-perfect house/yard. He’s just as good to us humans, too. Five paws - strongly recommend!”

“Megan was such a thoughtful and communicative dog sitter. She sent updates and lots of photos of Prisma. We felt happy knowing our dog was in such safe and loving hands. Would recommend Megan to anyone looking for someone to watch their pup. ❤️🙏”

About: Hi! I’m a proud cat mom of two and the person who will absolutely spend way too long trying to win over the shy cat hiding under the bed. 😸 I know every cat has their own personality, quirks, and very specific opinions about how things should be done. Whether your cat wants lots of playtime and cuddles or prefers some respectful personal space, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’ll make sure they’re fed, their litter is clean, and they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away—plus lots of photo updates, because I know how much we cat parents miss our babies!

About: Cats have their own personalities, and I believe the best care comes from respecting their unique needs rather than expecting them to adjust to ours. I'm Pet CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross, an Anthropology student at San Francisco State University, and a volunteer at the California Academy of Sciences. I provide a calm, stress-free environment where cats can feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers quiet companionship, I'll follow their routine carefully. I also provide gentle, attentive care for senior cats and keep you updated with photos and messages. 🐾

“Samantha was wonderful with my pets. My cats require a few extra steps since they do not get along very well, but she followed my instructions perfectly without any issues. She was very communicative, arrived when she said she would, and most importantly, I came home to two happy cats. I would absolutely recommend Samantha, and she will be the first person I reach out to next time I need a sitter.”

“Seng is amazing! Our cats loved her, she took care of them so well. She sent so many photos and videos, it was wonderful to see how happy they were. We will definitely be booking again the next time we’re out of town!”

About: I have two doggies that are my 🌎. I was a house sittter for two French bulldogs for 1-2 years, as well as a sitter for a senior dog with pretty severe separation anxiety. I love their company, and they enjoy mine :) Dogs hold a a special place in my heart so I ensure you that I will take care of them as if they were my own. They I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of energy and time to give your babies all the love, attention, and cuddles they deserve and need! If owners have a routine when it comes to play time, eating, and dog walks I make sure to follow that alone with their house rules.
“Allison was fantastic with our cat Harriet! We wanted Harriet to be kept company while we went on a trip, and she warmed up to Allison right away. Allison was punctual each visit, and kept us up to date with everything. Highly recommended!”

About: Experienced pet caregiver providing attentive cat sitting, drop-ins, and care tailored to your cat’s routine. Your cat’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have a 6-year-old Burmese and Australian Shepherd mix, and over the years I’ve cared for four cats for more than 10 years combined. I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy working out, running, hiking, and spending quality time with animals. Long walks, play sessions, and providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation are some of my favorite ways to help pets stay happy and healthy. If your dog is energetic and requires extra activity, engagement, or attention, I’m more than happy to provide the level of care they need. I genuinely enjoy building connections with animals and treating them like family. I also created a social media account dedicated to my own dog, which reflects my love for capturing special moments and celebrating the joy pets bring into our lives. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved companion, and I strive to provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care for every pet I meet. During the week I work from 10 AM to about 6 PM Monday through Friday. Outside of those hours I am available from 7:30 AM to about 9 AM Monday through Friday. Then on the weekends I’m typically free starting as early as you need me and as late as you need me. I ensure that I maintain my litter for my cats clean consistently washing the litter boxes replacing the litter and showing that I’m scooping at least three times a day. I also feed my cats twice a day and ensure they have a mix of wet food and kibble. For my dog I typically always wake up early in the morning to take him on a long walk and then I typically provide my dog breakfast followed by a treat. I spent a lot of time next to him so I will pet him hug him give him attention simulation. I did ensure that after work when I come home that I walk him at least 30 minutes and ensure that I am checking in on him and feeding him no later than 6 PM every day and then going on another walk after dinner. On the weekends I typically tip my dog on longer walk so we’ll go out and walk for about an hour on Saturday and Sunday I’ll make sure that I keep him away from a high foot traffic area is just to avoid any potential dog interactions that we may not be fully confident in as we don’t know everyone’s pet care routine or nuanced behavior issues. I’m always attentive and patient.

About: I’ve always had cats! It was my first responsibility as a kid. I love their personalities and quirks. My current cat is a 4 year old mischievous girl. She loves the travel life so she can explore all of the nooks and crannies of new places!
About: Hi, I’m Brittney! Over the years, I’ve cared for and loved dogs ranging from 10 to 115 pounds of all breeds (maltese, pitbull, cane corso, and mixed breeds to name a few). Owning a few of those dogs myself, I feel extremely comfortable caring for dogs of various size and ages and fulfilling their needs. I also have experience raising guide dogs for the blind from 3 months to 1 year old, although I was not an official puppy raiser. While I no longer have a dog of my own, I’m ready to give your dog the love and attention they deserve! On a more serious note, I understand the complexities that may come with every dog such as specific routines, special diets, enforcing house rules, and behavior around other dogs. I’m happy to ask/answer any and all questions to make sure I am a good fit for your dog! I am a student, with lots of flexibility during the week and during the weekends. When caring for pets, I commit to at least 3 walks a day and/or a fun adventure! If not in class, I’m on a hike or sewing at home with your pup by my side. All pets in my home are allowed to roam free and relax in the open unless instructed not to. At my home, I have an apartment with a fenced backyard large enough for small/medium sized dogs to run around freely. I aim for three walks at least every day, maybe more depending on energy level. In your home, I am adaptable to all routines and activities your dog might require!

She clearly loves animals, and it shows in her communication and enthusiasm. Alexis is an absolute gem -- we were so lucky to find and book her!”

“This was our first time using Rover, we were nervous but Karen and Jeff were wonderful! I’m definitely a helicopter dog mom and they sent videos and photos throughout the day without me even asking. Provided so many updates ! Bullet looks forward to hanging out with Boba again!”

“I left my dog for 2 days with Simon when I was in San Francisco visiting for the first time. Aspen had the best time and really liked being with Simon. This was fantastic as Aspen usually has a lot of separation anxiety at doggie day care facilities. Simon was very friendly and very professional and made sure Aspen was feeling good during the 2 days he was with him. I would highly recommend Simon to anyone who wants to see the city but can’t take their dog into many sightseeing places. I will definitely use Simon again if I am back in San Francisco!!!!”

“Stanley was so well looked after. He settled in really quickly, as I could see from the photos I was sent throughout the day. He’s normally a little nervous with new people, but when I came to pick him up he was completely calm and settled. Thank you Martin and Robert for taking such good care of him!”

“Great job taking care of our dog. Christopher is very responsive and communicated with us effectively to update us on our dog status. He is also very kind and considerate”

“Linda is awesome. She and her partner took such a good care of my dog. They were kind, patient, and caring. They asked detailed questions before the drop off. Mandy spent a day at Linda’s place with their sweet pitbull girl. Linda kept me updated through out the whole stay, kept me informed. It really made me feel at ease knowing my dog is doing ok and safe. Absolutely recommended and would book again.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and support Hyojae provided to both Juneau and our family at a trying time. Exceptionally accommodating, engaging, and flexible to help keep our puppy occupied while we attended to our son’s health! Definitely 5⭐️+”

“Arilla has been a reliable and responsive dog walker! She really loves dogs and is clearly very good with them. She is communicative and thorough and I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I absolutely adore animals. From the age of 6 I thought I wanted to be a vet. I even went down that path in college. Until I realized I wanted to be a nurse instead. I have worked as an ER nurse for the last 10 years. I have experience giving meds to my own animals ( a 9 year old Schnoodle and a 4 year old cat). I’ve also gotten into senior care for my dog that now currently wears diapers. Brings a whole new meaning when you call your pets your babies:) I’m friendly, communicative, flexible and respectful. If you think I’m a good fit, please reach out so we can discuss your needs:) I currently have some extra free time and have a pretty open schedule. If you have needs outside my schedule please let me know and I will see if I can make it work! I have a cat and dog of my own and have had countless pets over the years. I don’t have kids so they are truly my pride and joy. I will treat your pets and gain their trust just as I would my own animals!
About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life, whether it was my standard poodle as a young kid, my mini poodle as a teenager or, more recently, the senior dogs I’ve fostered or adopted from Muttville. Dogs have always been in good hands with me. Right now my wife and I have two dachshund chihuahua mixes we adopted at five and six. Our home is a dog home. They’re on the couch, on the bed and even under the covers (if they want to burrow). They’re in the mix and they’re loved. If your dog has medications, I’ve got it. If they have special needs or they’re older and need a slower pace, I have ample experience with that. I’m currently dedicating my time to taking care of pups, so your pup will have my undivided attention throughout the days and evenings. The max amount of time I’d leave your dog alone would be for four hours. I have two dogs of my own that I would keep separate from your dog to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I have a fully fenced backyard with a couple of stairs. I also have pet stairs inside to help senior dogs get up on to the couch and bed

I’m committed to providing consistent, loving care by following your pet’s routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority. I have over a year of experience caring for pets and offer pet sitting, drop-ins, and walks. I always follow your instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine consistent, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any special care. During drop-ins and walks, I make sure your pet gets the attention, activity, and care they need. For pet sitting, I provide a calm, safe environment in your home while being respectful of your space. I care for every pet with patience, kindness, and genuine love, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
“Gianna is punctual, reliable, and big dog friendly. She’s also very nice to work with and is developing a great rapport with our dog. I definitely recommend her.”

About: I’ve been helping to care for our family’s cats (feeding and litter boxes) from a very young age. I also have quite a bit of experience pet-sitting and have stayed overnight to care for friends’ pets. I will often take family or friends’ pets for walks while visiting, just because I enjoy being around animals. I am very diligent and will maintain any schedule or special instructions you might have. I do work full time from 8-4:30, Monday through Friday, but I am available in the evenings and on weekends. I do some tutoring after work but will be able to incorporate pet care into my schedule. I live in an apartment, but we do have a fenced in dog park and there are several large parks nearby. I do have a cat and dog (who are rather spoiled), but they are both quite friendly and ready to keep your pet company. My apartment is a decent size, and I strive to take my dog (a senior mini pinscher) out at least four times per day.

“Jillian and Fam were great! They boarded and cared for Cali for a week and we got regular updates and pics on how she was doing and all the walks they were taking. Jillian is super professional and incredibly responsive. Would recommend!”

“Mimi and Wilson took extraordinary care of Brahmi during his stay with them. We felt completely confident he was in good hands the entire time. Brahmi felt completely at home and enjoyed lovely walks and maintained his healthy appetite. We really appreciated the check-in texts and photos that they sent and the extra special care and love Mimi and Wilson gave to Brahmi to make him feel comfortable and loved.”

“Shao did a great job looking after our senior dog Wolfie who is on heart medication. She was very communicative throughout and sent regular updates. I felt like Wolfie was well looked after with care and attention.”

“I’m so glad that I found Irene! The care and communication she provides gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She provided frequent photos and updates of how my doggo was doing. When I came to pick up Ollie, he seems to have already grown attached to Irene and Sean. Will definitely book again!”

“Kami was so sweet and patient with Coby! Her and Matt were very attentive with him. Kami sent lots of updates. Coby is mischievous and can sometimes get into trouble so I really appreciated their patience with him!”

“Wei was great. I can be a bit of a flake because my travel plans often change and can come up last minute. Wei was totally understanding and altered my reservation without annoyance. And, the most important thing of course, Stella had a great time and came home happy and tired. Thank you so much for the help Wei, it always means a lot.”

“Bo H. is a very chill and responsible person, and my family is so glad that he was available to watch over Finley for a couple of days. His place is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of SF, which helped to keep Finley calm in our absence. Many thanks to Bo, and I can't recommend him enough.”
