About: I have been around animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. I am a vet tech within the army so I do have the medical training to care for pets. I have a 6 year old dog that I trained as a puppy so I do have experience with training. Currently I have plenty of time to care for pets and have very few commitments that would require me to not be available during the week. Cali started out as a foster with us and has now taken up permanent residence. We have a large house and a fully fenced yard (1/2 acre). One of us is usually home during the day so your pet won't be lonely. We have a doggie door so guests can choose to be inside or outside, although most of the time, they all like to be where we are. Please note that we do schedule a meet & greet prior to watching a guest for the first time. Reach out in advance to allow time for that. You'll be able to meet us and see where your pup(s) will be staying. Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs (and other pets) all my life. For me, it just doesn't feel like a home without a pet or two. About my yard Our yard is quite large and completely fenced. We live on a 1/2 acre. There is a large grass area for running and playing if that is what your dog likes. Ours would love to join in. If your pet is smaller and more comfortable inside, that's great also. Cali loves all dogs, regardless of size. (People too!) I work from home part time for a few hours weekly, so I'll have plenty of time to play with and care for your pup(s). We have a large completely fenced 1/2 acre yard. Bigger dogs have plenty of room to run. Smaller guys are free to explore or cozy up inside all day if that's their preference.

My family lives far away, and I am missing my two big, sweet rottweilers, and dog sitting more frequently will fill my heart up while I wait to visit them again!

“When it comes to my babies I’m definitely a helicopter mom so finding a sitter while spending two weeks in Japan was stressful. “Paige is very attentive and caring. I received regular updates. Trudy is an older dog and Paige was very accommodating in administering her medications. Since Paige only cares for one dog at a time, it is nice not to have concerns about Trudy getting along with another pet. Trudy will definitely be returning to spend time with Paige when I need a caregiver for her.”
