He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. My puppy got to learn how to walk on a leash with other dog friends, was fed cooked chicken and healthy dog treats like carrots, and got to play and have zoomies in her beautiful yard with other dog friends. She even let my puppy take naps and sleep next to her and wasn’t upset when she had a couple of accidents over the course of her stay. I highly recommend Hana!”

About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

About: As a dog owner of 2, I value someone who will treat my dogs as their own. As a dog sitter, your dog would be in the best care and will receive all the love I give my own. I mostly work from home Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm so I am available anytime after 5pm during the weekday and anytime on the weekends. If needed, I can also be available for early morning during the weekday. I would like to sit only at clients homes so each pet will can feel the most comfortable. Also since I have 2 dogs at home, feel like it is the safest option to only be at clients home.

About: An eight-hour-plus workday is too long to be without your furry babies, and that's where I come in. I've been a proud feline pet parent since 1999, and I'm still at it now with three cats. It's not always easy, but it's always rewarding. My experience with my fur babies ranged from delivering newborn kittens to full-grown senior cats. I have also provided vet care, taken in strays, and finding some of them new homes. So, if you hire me to do drop-in visits with your feline children, expect me to tend to them as if they are my own. I know that most people will use this service to go on vacation. But most people who are on the daily 9-to-5 grind might not get that privilege. My drop-in services are primarily for those who can't check in on their feline pet during those hours, but I am flexible. Going on vacation? not a problem. Cats need constant mental and physical stimulation. Therefore, when I arrive, I will engage in playing with them, replenishing the food and water bowl, and cleaning out the litter box. If you have any specific requests, please let me know, so I can accommodate them. I'm a pet parent of three myself, so I'm able to devote my time at least six times a week in the afternoon. My cats are the only children I have, and they mean the world to me. So if you choose me, please expect the best care.

About: I have always been a dog lover, and I am now the mother of two dog-loving children. Your dog will not be short on love, affection, and play in our home! I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. I have a fenced yard, and I can easily crate your dog if needed. Your dog would be welcome to come inside our home. Your dog would not be left unaccompanied or unsupervised in our home. For dogs with good social skills, I would also be able to take them to a dog park nearby. I’m currently self-employed and often work from home. I am available everyday, except Wednesdays, to dog-sit. I regularly take my dog on walks in the morning and evening with a couple of potty-breaks throughout the day. Cinder would love some company on her walks! We have a fenced yard they can go outside. We often take breaks to play and stretch in the house. There is easy access to water in the home.

About: I had dogs for my entire childhood and as an adult, I regularly volunteer at our local shelter to take shelter dogs out for the day to help socialize them, give them love, and to just give them a change of scenery. I would be honored to care for your fur baby! I currently work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so I have very flexible availability those days so I can fit your pup’s needs. I work Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, but am fully available afterwards. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for your pup to run around if needed. I am happy to board, so long as your pet is comfortable staying in the yard. We have rabbits in the home, so unfortunately we cannot have dogs indoors.

“Achara did a great job from the beginning to end! She responded to all of our messages in a timely manner and had no problem answering any of my questions. We are very particular about our fur babies and worry a lot whenever we leave them so it was nice to have someone who was willing to reassure us repeatedly. Achara made sure to let our 2 puppies meet her dogs through a baby gate to make sure everyone got along perfectly first which was great. Our dogs and hers got along great. She sent us lots of pictures everyday to show us how our puppies were having a great time and playing. She took them walking and made sure they got to stay active like they do at home. Pickup was easy and dogs were happy and safe which is what we love!! Very satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely recommend Achara to friends and will be using her again!!”
“I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Leaving Atlas for a full week was a huge step for me. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. “My dog Oreo had a great two weeks with Marilee and Joe. Oreo had loads of fun playing and wrestling with their dog Zuko who is a great role model for my 3 year old pup. The entire family welcomed and played with Oreo. He even got to go visit the river to swim! 😊 🐕 💗 💦 Marilee was great with communication and sent photos of my happy pup! Lol! He had such a great time I was sort of worried that Oreo would be in withdrawal when we got home without all of their company and attention! We are planning on having Oreo visit again when we go out of town.”

About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

“Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”
