“Was really happy with Reginay and would book with her again. I’m always nervous to leave the babes with someone new, but she took in all my instructions for my very old dog and sent pictures to keep me updated. I felt like they were safe with her. Def recommend.”

“Alexandra was great! Decided to leave Rocky with her because she has big, high-energy dog experience and she did not disappoint. Sent photos everyday and made sure to update us with how Rocky was doing. Would absolutely recommend her and leave my own dog with her again!”

“Brandee was amazing with my labradoodle. He had lots of time outside and play with other dogs. I loved getting photos and updates every afternoon. Will definitely rebook for the next time!”

“Irina is a wonderful sitter. She watched our 6-year-old dog and our son's new puppy for 4 nights. She was very proactive, with lots of updates and videos of our girls, and super responsive whenever we checked in or had a question. Her training as a vet is so reassuring. She noticed that our girl was exhibiting some behaviors that indicated she had some inflammation and was kind enough to intervene (with our blessing) to straighten things out for us. Would 100% recommend Irina.”

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Patty was amazing! It was my first time leaving my dog overnight and Patty made me feel so comfortable with lots of updates and photos. Penelope absolutely loved her, and I’ll definitely book again!”

“Achara was such a blessing for us. We were literally leaving in 1 day, down to crunch time, and freaking out because our girls have never been away from home. She did a meet and greet that afternoon, and was so easy going, very friendly, and even suggested if we wanted to make the transition for our babies easier, that we could bring them that same evening, as an option too. She was friendly and welcoming, her down to earth demeanor spoke volumes. My son and I liked her right from the start. Once we received our first update text and picture, my husband felt reassured, more and at ease in our decision. She kept in communication with us, put us at ease with the whole process (clear communication, the payment process because it was our first time with Rover as well) and gave us both pictures and updates of how they were doing. She respected our dogs' boundaries, as well as gave them options with sleeping arrangements. We knew our dogs were in the perfect hands while we were gone. We definitely will be making plans in the near future, either for over night or even just for the day. While also having a family and pet herself, Achara did an amazing job balancing our family with hers, and we definitely with be using her services again. Thank you!”

“Bari is amazing! Our dog Frank has been going to Bari since he was a puppy and he always has so much fun. Her communication is great and she takes amazing care of him every time. Thanks so much Bari!!”

“This was Lilo’s third stay at Marilee’s place! Ever since we found her, we have not taken Lilo anywhere else to petsit or board! We just know that Lilo is well cared for and loved when she stays over with Marilee. We love seeing all the picture updates Marilee sends us, not only does Lilo look like she’s having a good time, but it puts us at ease!”

“As relatively new dog owners, we were somewhat hesitant leaving our little guy with someone unknown to us. This was our second overnight booking with Deborah and we now feel that our little guy has a second home with Deborah. Upon arrival he was wagging his tail and seemed right at home, ready to play and enjoy the day. Deborah is caring, attentive and a great communicator, sending texts, videos and pics routinely. We trust in her good care emphatically!!!”

“Cecilia was amazing! She came to the rescue when our original sitter had to cancel literally the day before drop off. This was our first time using Rover, so we were nervous leaving our dog and cat with someone new for an entire week, but meeting Cecilia immediately put as at ease. She was so warm, kind, and flexible with our drop off time. It was immediately evident they'd be in good hands and our Calvin even bonded a bit with one of her cats. Getting photos/videos everyday was super nice and we could tell they were very comfortable. She updated us on how they were doing everyday (Calvin didn't eat much the first couple days, but settled in). It was a great experience and if we need to use Rover in the future, we'll definitely be hoping Cecilia is available again!”

“Tammi was so great with our dog, Daisy. I felt confident that Daisy was safe and loved while we were on vacation. I appreciated the updates and pictures from Tammi, and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dog sitter. We are so happy that we have found a sitter that we can trust our baby with.”

“All I can say is amazing. I needed someone to watch my dog two days before my trip since my family canceled on me last minute. Hana immediately accepted Sadie. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone else longer than 4 days so I was a bit nervous. However, Hana updated me with pictures and videos every day from the day I dropped sadie off. She made me and my dog feel secure. My dog is also picky and did not want to eat the food I sent, so Hana went out of her way every day to prepare fresh food for my girl. I can tell Hana is knowledgeable about dogs and even gave me advice on how to appropriately feed my dog. I am forever grateful to you Hana. Thank you a million times. We found a forever sitter. 🩷”

“Roy was awesome with Reesey! My girl is very energetic and requires a lot of attention, but he made her feel right at home with a lot of runs, walks, and cuddles. They bonded really well!”

“Marcie took really great care of my dog Trix! She went above and beyond: taking her to the dog park, communicating and send pictures regularly, and clearly giving Trix good care.”

“Michael did a wonderful job keeping an eye on Oscar over a quick weekend trip! He was accommodating to some of Oscar's health issues and stayed in touch with us while we were away. I'm sure Oscar is looking forward to future stays and being on squirrel patrol!”

“Vivi was great! She checked in with me daily with pics. She clearly cares so much for the animals and that what is most important to me. She is very responsive and I felt so comfortable to have my sweet baby in her care. I would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“I want to thank Nelly again for taking care of my dog for the long weekend I was gone. I liked the pictures she sent and the opportunity for my dog to hang & play with others (pack time). I definitely would let her take care of Sander again! appreciate the care she provided and allowing”

“Michelle and Craig were wonderful taking care of our two dogs. Craig was so kind and scheduled an alarm in the middle of the night so that our elderly dog Suzy wouldn’t have to use a pad to relieve herself. What great care they took of our pups! Highly recommended”

“Jazmin was a great pet sitter for my baby girls while I was away on a last minute business trip! She was super attentive and had excellent communication when she came to visit. Definitely recommend booking if you need someone to swing by for a few days!”

“Dustin is the best! He is so friendly, kind of like family so you feel comfortable leaving your family pet and can relax on vacation. He watched our cat for us and even sent pictures daily. Will definitely use him for our next get away.”

“Emily was great with my elderly cat. She has perfect instincts for when to get closer and when to give her space. My cat was happy, healthy, and calm when I got home from vacation. I will use her services again.”

“Extremely kind and communicative! It was amazing seeing so many photos and videos of my babies while I was away. Natalie took the time to hang out and play with my cats, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“Erika is a great sitter and we look forward to working with her again! She was very communicative and extremely flexible when our travel plans changed at the last minute. Our cats loved seeing her and it was great for us to know that everything at home was taken care of, it made our vacation that much more relaxing.”

“Jaclyn is fantastic! She was communicative, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about both cat behavior and my own cat’s personalities. My kitties both loved her and the little report cards were super cute, her rates were also very reasonable. I would absolutely hire her again for any future trips”

“I dropped off my 7 lb chihuahua, Molly, for a daycare session with Hana yesterday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Deanna and her family took great care of Albie. We got updates and she was very accommodating when we ran late to pick him up one of the days. Albie came in tired and happy both days. Her dog Raiden is a sweetheart. Definitely recommended.”

“My chihuahua does not always like meeting new people but I could tell he warned up quickly to Bari. Definitely a relief since I was nervous about how he'd do. Nice and good with dogs 5⭐ and the occasional pictures also put me at ease during his stay”

“Next time we visit Sacramento, we’ll definitely have Adrienna as our pet sitter. Good in communication, updates us most of the time how our dogs are doing, sending us photos. I guess our dogs also like her! Thanks again Adrienna! ?”

“Katherine was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Vigo. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with all different kinds of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.”

“Ashley is my very first walker from Rover. She arrived on time. She asked great questions, and was helpful in laying down the plan for Jacqui. My dog can be a snob in meeting new people, but because of Ashley’s personality and ability to follow instructions, Jacqui felt comfortable letting Ashley remove her harness towards the end of the walk! What a big relief on my side! I will be using Ashley again for future walks.”

About: I have over 25 years of hands-on animal care experience, starting in childhood on a farm and continuing throughout my life. Caring for animals has always been a core part of who I am, not just something I do. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including pets with more medicine needs. I work with animals of all sizes and dispositions. I am very experienced with medication administration, including oral medications, subcutaneous injections in cats, injections in dogs, and specialty medications such as cancer treatments, which I administer carefully and safely using proper protective equipment. I am also familiar with veterinary care routines and attentive to changes in behavior or health. I am known for being gentle, patient, observant, and calm, even in challenging situations. I have significant experience caring for senior pets, animals with medical needs, and cats with strong personalities or aggression. I respect animals’ boundaries, read their body language closely, and know when to give space and when to confidently stand my ground so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I love getting to know each animal as an individual, learning their routines, preferences, and quirks, and interacting with them in the way that works best for them. I take pride in making animals feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for while their humans are away. I’m trustworthy, attentive, and fully present when I’m with your pets. I will likely give them silly nicknames and may even sing to them, but above all, I will treat them with kindness, respect, and the same level of care I would want for my own animals. I work from home, which means my schedule is very flexible, and pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. Because I’m not tied to a rigid office schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet visits, routines, and any special care needs rather than trying to fit them in between other commitments. I’m proud to be one of the go-to pet sitters in my Sacramento community, and I take that trust seriously. When I commit to caring for pets, they receive my full attention, not rushed or distracted care. I’m able to reliably maintain feeding schedules, administer medications, provide enrichment and companionship, and keep up with daily care tasks that help pets feel comfortable and secure. I understand how important consistency, calm, and reliability are for pets when their people are away. My flexible schedule allows me to spend quality time with each pet, observe their behavior closely, and notice any changes early. I communicate clearly and provide thoughtful updates so pet parents can feel confident and at ease while they’re gone. Pet sitting isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule. It’s something I intentionally make space for. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and am excited to continue offering dependable, attentive, and compassionate pet care to my community. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is centered on safety, consistency, and respect for each pet’s routine. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, preferences, and any special care instructions so their environment feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow established feeding schedules, medication instructions, and care routines carefully, and I’m experienced administering a wide range of medications when needed. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and overall comfort, and I address any concerns promptly and thoughtfully. I prioritize creating a calm, clean, and secure environment. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, litter boxes, food storage, and any household safety considerations. I respect pets’ boundaries and personalities, and I interact with them in the way that works best for them, whether that’s active engagement, gentle companionship, or giving them space while still keeping a close eye on their well-being. Communication is very important to me. I provide regular updates, including photos, so pet parents can see that their pets are comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I’m responsive, transparent, and proactive with communication, which helps owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. Above all, I care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. I take the responsibility seriously and treat every pet and home with the same level of care and respect I would expect for my own.
About: I love DOGS! I have grown up around dogs of all shapes and sizes! Much like some of our dogs, I also get a little mischievous when I get left home alone too long, so let my extra energy benefit you! I am happy to run your dog until they are completely tuckered out, or take a little jaunt around the block to keep our senior pets moving and grooving! Whatever you and your pets may need, I am happy to accommodate! Currently working part-time and studying to become a yoga instructor! I have a very open schedule and can be very flexible to suit your family's needs! Animal safety is always a top priority. Happy to send photos or videos of your pet during our visit so that you can relax knowing your pet and I have having a great time together!
“Abby has been a great walker for my little girl, Jacqui. She’s easy, friendly and reliable. I appreciate it a lot when she informs me right away if there will be any changes regarding the walk. I will very much continue using her services! Thanks Abby!!”

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

Thank you!”

“Zariyah seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with our sweet pup. Her house has a great set up for dogs, with spaces for them in her home and yard. She has children that made my dog feel at home. She even treated him special while he was there for a holiday. I would definitely bring my dog here for another stay.”

“Manuel was great with our dog! His dog, Chewy, and our dog got along wonderfully and got a lot of playtime together. Manuel is reliable and communicative. He made us feel at ease and we knew our dog was in great hands.”

“Phillip and Jenny were absolutely fantastic. They were the perfect fit for my dog. They took very good care of Mila while I was away. Mila is not a super social dog. So I appreciated their patience and understanding. Phillip provided updates and photos. I felt so comfortable and secure with both Phillip and Jenny.”

“Demetra did a wonderful job watching Sammy. She provided great communication and was very accommodating with my schedule. It was clear that when Sammy came back home, she was well-rested and had a good time. I would absolutely use her again and fully plan on doing so.”
