About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.

I have a fully fenced front and back yard with plenty of space for your dogs to roam. I can easily crate your pet as needed. Either myself of my wife will be at the house at all times. I am home night and weekends and she is home days. Someone will be at home 24/7 to meet your pets needs/ Dogs are fed and walked as needed and provided a bathroom break every 2 hours. I also have a fully fenced front and back yard as well as a park down the street for outdoor play.

That said, a boarding pet is most comfortable when they have their own bed or blanket brought with them, which must be flea/pest-free and clean. ~A collar with tags and leash are required. Harnesses are also recommended. ~Due to landlord restrictions, I can't accept pets in my home over 35 lbs or certain "dangerous" breeds (insurance rules, unfortunately). ~I use only non-toxic, natural, and eco-friendly cleaners and pest repellents for the safety of your pets and the environment. Everywhere: ~I stay alert to your pets' social cues, respecting their boundaries and addressing their needs. I provide stimulating opportunities to explore and burn off energy in a safe and respectful manner.

Having two fur babies of my own I know the importance of having someone you trust take care of them. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love, compassion, and respect. I have taken care of animals of all ages. I can give medication if needed. I have a fenced yard, as well as a space if you have a pet that needs to be confined or crated. I am happy to discuss needs and try to work out to make your pets stay as pleasant as possible. I ask that you provide all the things your pet is used to including schedule/ routine if you keep one so that their time away is comfortable and seamless.
About: Ever since I was 10 I've taken care of dogs. I have experience in many different ages of dogs from newborn puppies to full grown. Since it is summer your pets will always fit in my schedule! Saturday and Sunday will be the only days I can't fit your pets in. I will always be willing to feed, clean, play and walk with your pets if they need it. I can stay overnight too as well.

BUT if there is any and I mean any intertwinement within stays, I will always let it be known before moving forward with the booking to ensure we are all on the same page. We have two rooms designated for pups to be separated if necessary. The safety of your pups is our top priority and I will always be transparent when some dates or times may cross paths. We are doing this as a family which means way more fun for all of us ☺️. As you can see by the pictures, I have a son who is 8 years old. His name is Aiden. He loves dogs and any fur animal. His goal is to have a dog when he’s a little older, so this is also a great experience for him to learn how it is to take care of a dog, with us doing most of the work 😂. My husband’s name is Josue and he has been around dogs all his life. He is great with dogs of all sizes and always has treats to make sure they know that they’re doing a great job. Anytime my husband sees any dogs all he wants to do is lay on the ground and have them all over him lol. About: I’ve loved dogs and animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent time around my aunt’s Golden Retriever and was always excited to meet and spend time with animals. In high school, I had my own Chihuahua named Aurora, which gave me experience with daily feeding, care, and companionship. I also fostered a Pit Bull from a local animal shelter during a time when the shelter was overcrowded and needed temporary foster homes. While living in Hawaii, I helped care for my cousin’s Chihuahua, Brownie, as part of my everyday routine. About: I have had many pets through out my life and got to learn how to work with senior dogs, that includes one of my past dogs, Millie, who was 18 and I learned how to care for her. Not just that, but we adopted our dog Brooklyn when she was a puppy, so through that I learned to care and train a puppy. I know how to care for cats with cleaning their litter box and keeping them engaged. I love walking dogs and playing with them. I am working part time, however my schedule is very open and I can do daily visits with peoples pets. I would make them my priority to take care of them and make them feel comfortable. Also my shifts are only 3 hours so before and after I can visit the fur babies. In my clients home I will make sure that when they go outside I am either watching them from inside or going outside with them to make sure they are safe. I will make sure to play with them and care for them in my clients home.
About: I absolutely adore dogs and their personalities. I had an older pup of my own, who has been with me all over California. Unfortunately my beautiful girl has passed. Now I have a 1 year old rambunctious little aussiedoodle named Thorin and all he wants do is play. He absolutely loves making new friends. I am always the first one to be called by any friend in need to watch their pets. I’m confident that Thorin and I can give your pet a safe space for them to have fun and you to relax and not worry. I currently work 2 miles from my place of residence. Your dog will usually just go with me to work every day, we have a bed/area set up (pet friendly environment) or if preferred the dog to stay home. My man comes with me, so we do the same for yours. Also, they would be walked first thing in the morning, on my lunch, after work and then again before bed. I have a crate if thats needed for your dog/your dog likes to have his/her own safe space. My house is free to roam for the animals. I have a big backyard they can play in.
