About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dog for several years enthusiastically. I’ve always found dogs to be the closest comfort, which is a reason to trust me. I do online school, so my schedule is very flexible and I am available throughout the day most days of the week. This allows me to accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon walks or drop-in visits depending on what your pet needs. I am also able to be consistent with recurring schedules if needed, and I can adjust my availability when planned in advance. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, respect, and following all instructions exactly as given. I make sure pets are secure at all times during walks, including proper leash handling and awareness of surroundings. About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. I'm very comfortable taking care of senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. When my childhood dog was attacked, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. At 14 years old, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. In addition to dogs, I've taken care of geckos, an iguana, fish, water turtles, parakeets and cockatiels. I'm happy to care for any type of animal. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

A trip to the park with my toddler and dog before it gets too hot is a must. My yard is fenced with brick at the end of a culdasec. We have one friendly dog and four cats. We all love being outside together. We travel as a pack. I feed the first meal around 6am and then usually open up the back door so the dog and cats can roam freely in the backyard. They like hanging in our veggie garden. Once my toddler wakes up we will go for a walk, play, or even go to the park. We love to pet and cuddle our animals throughout the day.
